The Protection of Sovereignty Act

All nations will find conflict knocking at their door one time or another, however, more often than not, the one who opens the gates is not a foreign power but a traitor within our midst, hereby, the “Protection of Sovereignty Act” will focus on giving judicial officials powers they may not of had before and it will limit the freedom of foreign visitors.

The effects of the act are as follows.

1.) All members of COMSEC (Communist Orthodoxy & Motherland Security) have ultimate authority, if a civilian – or anyone else for that matter, not including the inner party – disobeys a COMSEC order, they are liable to be imprisoned and/or executed.

2.) All foreigners in Kriegorgrad who do not register at the local authorities within 6 hours of arrival are declared enemies of the state, enemies of the state are subject to the same rights traitors are: none. If an enemy of the state is found, he will be arrested and executed. However, if the foreigners in Kriegorgrad do not have malicious intent, they will have no problem with registering and therefore will not be executed. Upon registration, you will be issued a patrol bot*, this device has a camera, a hover-propulsion system and a sophisticated AI, it will follow you everywhere you go, any attempt to tamper with/deceive or flee from the bot will result In being branded an enemy of the state in which case, an arrest will follow before an execution.

3.) COMSEC may utilise any military units in matters of internal security, if a member of the military (who isn’t a sufficiently ranked officer) disobeys a member of COMSEC, that serviceman is liable to suffer the same fate as an enemy of the state.

The people of Kriegorgrad must remember that we do not do this because we want to, we do this out of necessity to keep the fine men and women of Kriegorgrad safe from its dubious neighbours, we hope that the proletariat understand this is for their own good and was only implemented to protect the freedoms of the people from possible foreign aggressors.

"We laugh and mock your 'law'. Citizens of another nation(unless emmigrating from said nation) CANNOT be executed for ANY CRIME that is not underneath murder. Imprisoned, yes, executed, no. We also note that your nation is a member of the UN, hasnt the UN banned the death penalty? We are not to sure seeing as we are not in the UN. Regardless, this is a sure fire way of getting kicked out of the UN and-in most cases-INVADED.

You are either grossly misinformed, horribly arrogant or hopelessly stupid, seeing as Kriegorgrad is a sovereign nation, it is fully within our rights to execute anyone under any charge we deem fit, the day Kriegorgrad bends knee to a group as insignificant as RedTide2.

Also, I need mention that when we saw this message, I doubled over laughing, well, I was until I realised you were being serious.

And, if a person comes into Kriegorgrad and doesn't obey the laws, which are made very clear, then that is their own fault, they should learn to read and listen to the people telling them where to go and what to do, rather than waddle off with a camera taking snapshots of potentially sensitive information.

It should be noted that executing Kanuckistani citizens can constitute an Act of War, under the Overseas Citizens Protection Act of 21 KDY.

Thus, we request that any persons aprehended while traveling under Kanuckistani passport to remanded to our custody to face trial and sentencing on Kanuckistani soil, at our expense.

After reviewing these changes in Kriegorgrad law, we feel it is vitally important to Iuthian diplomatic interests, within our probationary embassy in Kriegorgrad, to completely understand where our embassy stands with these new laws.

Obviously we cannot permit such 'Patrol Bots' within our embassy as we concider the land to be Iuthian territory, however we understand that according to the Protection of Sovereignty Act that Iuthian diplomatic personnel would have to, by Kriegorgrad law, be escorted by a 'Patrol Bot' upon leaving the Iuthian Embassy, making communication vital between COMSEC and IDC personnel prior to meetings between our peoples within Kriegorgrad.

Please list any further requirements as you see fit and we'll see whether we can continue to operate our embassy in Kriegorgrad under these laws. Our prime concern being the safety of Iuthian Diplomatic staff during thier time in Kriegorgrad.

Why, in all the turmoil of the revolution, we nearly forgot about Iuthia, we are deeply glad you haven't chosen to isolate us despite leadership changing hands.

And yes, we shall not send our patrol bots into the Iuthian embassy, that is your soil and we would violating Iuthia's sovereignty by doing so. Yes, communication is important but if it makes it easier for your diplomats, we could always programme the bots to respond to a go-word when said by a registered Iuthian diplomat, the word could be, for a sense of mock companionship, "walkies", upon saying walkies, one of the bots patrolling the Iuthian perimeter will immediately forget its old duties, send a message to tell the authorities a replacement bot is needed and then set off to follow the Iuthian.

We hope this accomodates your diplomats well enough during their stay in Kriegorgrad, however, we must ask tha the diplomats do not talk to Kriegos civilians unless it is absolutely necessary or completely innocent, say anything wrong and it will be reported by the bot and then COMSEC will appear and arrest the man...yes, going back to your original point, communication is essential, it will clear up any misunderstandings.
