Peaks Town
Naval storefront

OOC: Please roleplay, even if it is just "My navy would like.."
Also do your own calculations.
Feel free to make suggestions on how I can improve this store, but keep them to telegrams if possible.
All items are copyright by me.
We now have an NS Wiki page @ http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/Peaks_Town_Naval_Storefront

OOC: Nice. A new naval storefront that doesnt start straight into selling wank Iowa rehashes. Nice looking vessels, though I would recommend a little more detail.

I must commend you, however, on selling niche-role ships that small navies and big can both use and tapping into markets rarely satisfied by current sellers. Keep up the good work.

The Talzecki Navy is in the process of establishing itself with a goal to declare independence from Sarzonia. As a result, we would like to purchase some of your units to help us create a well-rounded naval force. Our order is as follows:

10 ASD-25 anti-submarine vessels
10 MSW-35 small minesweepers
10 VMR-28 missile ships
5 SAT-31 civilian comm. ships

The total for this order comes to $1.38 billion. Money will be wired upon confirmation of this order.

We hope to hear from you soon and we hope to be able to employ these vessels in our navy sooner rather than later. Thank you for your consideration.

Commodore Brian Longley
Commanding Officer
Talzecki Navy

[OOC: I was going to log out as Talzeckia and log back in as my main country, Sarzonia to tell you pretty much what Freethinkers did. It's nice to see new storefronts that think of things other than OMG! Huge Ass Battleships and don't try to pass themselves off as building the uber perfect ships.

Freethinkers is right about the detail. You don't need to break down every little thing about the ships, but a little more information would be helpful. Having said that, I wish you much success with this storefront!]

Thank you for ordering. Good luck on your campaign.

[OOC: What extra detail do I need?]

[OOC: What extra detail do I need?][OOC: I'd just recommend looking at some of the other reputable storefronts out there and seeing how they describe ships. Propulsion system, armor, types of missiles that can be fired, drafts are all details that can be added.

Portland Iron Works (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=345001) is my best-known storefront that gives you a range of details that can be included.

Imperial Praetonian Shipyards (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=332455) is another good storefront for detail.

[http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=361894]Royal Shipyards of Isselmere-Nieland[/url]Another of my favorite storefronts. He's slavish with his details. You don't have to be THAT detailed, but anyway, this is the information I included about the first warship I ever designed:

SPECIFICATIONS:
Alliance-class super cruiser (CB)
Displacement: 28,321 tons full load
Dimensions: 232.4 x 26.9 x 9.6 meters
Propulsion: Steam turbines, 8 600 psi boilers, 4 shafts, 150,000 shp, 33 knots
Crew: 1169
Armor: 4.5-8.5 inch belt advanced steel alloy, 4.5-4.9 inch deck, 5-12.8 inch turrets, 5-10.6 inch CT
Armament: 3 triple 11"/50 cal, 2 dual 5"/38cal DP, 4 Harpoon, 2 5/54, 2 Phalanx CIWS, 6 12.75 inch TT, 2 Mk41 VLS systems.
Price: $975 million

It's not nearly as detailed as some of the entires on PIW, but it gives you some idea of what you're getting.
