Farmina

OOC: This is open to all friends of Farmina.
IC: Justinian looked around. He was surrounded by a series of screens each linking him to the leader of a different nation. Behind him stood the Grand Chancellor of the Elected Councils and Supreme Commander of the military.
The Supreme Commander passed Justinian a large ceremonial sword. Justinian raised it to his face and then held it against his chest, as procedure required.
“We must do away with that formality,” he thought.
“The Conference is now in session,” he said in his most regal voice.
“Farmina, as most of you are aware have executed the war criminal Hansard Blivx. This has had repercussions. A coalition of socialist Islamic (OOC: noobs) nations, who identify themselves at the Green Revolution, have began scouring Farmina’s human rights record. They look for genocide, but they will not find it. I however have heard from God himself, this façade is a distraction, they will attack anyway. Farmina expects to be outnumbered 4 to 1. While Farmina has a history of being outnumbered, it has never been this heavily. Farmina also lacks the naval capacity to fight the five misbelievers. Let it be clear, I am not asking you to fight, I’m just seeing what is on offer if I did call upon you.”
He paused.
“Dumpsterdam, our oldest ally, in recent times our alliance cracks. I was opposed to your involvement in Sydney’s rebellion and your plans to move against the Missippian Federation. You were disappointed in the great execution. However we still wish for your ships to sail alongside Farmina’s.”
“President Kowaski, Mike if you will. The Marine nation and we were enemies until very recently, but treaty binds us now. As you promise food supplies to our nation, I suggest you increase the protection on the freighters. I will also be withdrawing guards from the Marine contractors repairing our fields. You also pledge to aid us against unjustified threats. Socialist Islam is most certainly an unjustified threat.”
“My dear Manhands. I am sure your entire army will rise to the Churches call,” said Justinian.
He failed to mention that if Manhands didn’t comply then the Farminan forces stationed in Manhands would destroy the current regime, but it didn’t need pointing out.
“Generalissimo, J.L. as I understand it you are under blockade. This is most unfortunate, but we hope that such things go away by the war, in which case, will you help us?”
Justinian paused again.
“The threat of Socialist Islam cannot be tolerated, none the less allowed to aggress against a Capitalist Christian nation. The Green Revolution must fail. They teach the twin languages of the Devil and it shall not be tolerated. Their beliefs amount to tyranny. We shall fight in God’s name and we shall win!”
With that Justinian placed his sword on the table. He looked around at the screens. “Who in this conference puts their sword with mine?”
