Lord Rahl stared out a crossed the city from his capital building in New Seita… a terrorist attack has just occurred, they call themselves the Scythe of Glory, it is one of the most tragic attacks the nation has known… an elementary school was bombed, a martyr strapped with plastic enough plastic explosives to destroy the three story school, it was the biggest elementary school in the entire country what with a large population they need to have huge school, but 9,000 children lost their lives 9,000 out of 9,356… what sick monster would do this? They are a religious group, the Scythe of Glory; they released a video after the attack claiming it was they who did it. As Lord Rahl stared at the city he can just make out the rescue crews working through the debris and the army was surrounding them to make sure they were safe… around the capital building marines guarded him with three round burst M-16, all these soldiers are augmented of course, made faster and stronger through operation only the Terran Empire Marine Corps does this, and only after the sixteen week training they receive. There was even a squad outside of his door standing guard…tears flowed freely down his face at the thought of those innocent souls, even though the country was predominately atheist he couldn’t help but say a prayer… he turned to the vid screen and played the video again, when the screen turned on a man in body armor sat there he looked like he hadn’t shaved in a day or two… and his pitch black hair reached his shoulders, he spoke “The Scythe of Glory is proud of the soldier who eliminated the enemy, we took you by the balls, and we hope they suffered a great deal,” the man said with a sadistic grin, ”be it said that we will continue our holy mission to ensure that all Terrans die the way they are ment to, string up by there entrails while bludgeoned, “ another sick grin of his,” I, Macerick Ferno will make sure every Terran man, women, and child are killed in the bloodiest way, that is commanded by our lord and savior, Helios, amen,” the screen went blank even after the hundredth time watching it still filled Lord Rahl with hate and rage, as he sat brooding in his dark office a knock came at the door.
“Enter,” Lord Rahl said apathetically. General Thompson of the T.E.M.C (Terran Empire Marine Corps) came in.
“Sir have you decided what we will do with this sadistic cult?” asked the general.
“Yes, yes I do,” Lord Rahl replied, “ we will put the country on Internal Defender Law, and I want our military mobilized and hunt down every last Scyth of Glory member, then kill them take no prisoners general.”
“yes sir, my pleasure sir,” said the general, after that he exited and left Lord Rahl to his thoughts, instating Internal Defender Law, ment that civilians are allowed to form a militia and help the military in any way possible, he only hoped that it would help…
