We'll be joined by commentators from Lame Bums and the international media through the night. With me now is Precocious Jones, of PBC News in the Democratic Republic of Phonque. Precocious, what do you make of our candidiates?
Well, Sam, you certainly have an interesting bunch! Looking at President Carville first of all, you have here a leader who is lionised at home, but extremely controversial overseas. I think there's a lot of presidents and prime ministers tonight hoping Carville takes a beating, but I don't know how many will come out and say it!
But yours has, hasn't he?
Ha ha! That's right. President Bongo was asked for his position on the election at a statehouse press briefing, and I think we've got the clip here...

President Bongo, who do you back in the Lame Bums election this week?
President Bongo Bongo
Democratic Republic of Phonque
Well, first I'd like to urge Lame Bums citizens watching to shun the Aryans entirely. These are despicable, brutal racists and have no place on a ballot paper. I think that Pesident Carville is another side of the same coin. He has tried in his campaign to appear more moderate, but I think people have longer memories at election time than they are given credit for.
With the National Alliance throwing in with these two deeply unpleasant factions, you have to choose between Schroder's Social Democrats and Bushton's Conservatives. I don't think that's a difficult choice. Bushton is trying the same old conservative trick: more for less. More police, less tax. More pensions, less tax. More schools, less tax. In another age, us oldies called it voodoo economics. It didn't work for Reagan, and it won't work for Bushton.
So, in answer to your question, Kitty, I'm backing the Social Democrats, and I hope the Lame Bums electorate will, too.
Wow! That's pretty strong stuff!
President Bongo doesn't have a reputation for mincing his words, as you know, Sam. As you heard there, the National Republicans and the National Alliance represent something of a bloc, and I think that will work to the Alliance's disadvantage. The outcome if you vote Republican or Alliance is the same, and, given Carville's popularity, most people who are voting that way would rather be on the winning team than be the waterboy.
I think Schroder will be made or broken on these riots. Sure, they're a walking billboard for the right, but they pretty much guarantee that Schroder's vote is going to turn out. I can't see anyone on the left being apathetic this polling day.
You haven't mentioned Jim Paruotka...
No, and why would you? Ha ha! Peroutka makes me sad, Sam, because he so wants to be President, but the simple fact of the matter is, no-one likes him, no-one's going to vote for him, and he's dead in the water before the polls open.
Harsh but, as always, scrupulously fair. PBC's Precocious Jones, thankyou very much!
Thank you, Sam.
Well, we've got Senate calls coming in... I'll be back with those, and more opinion from around the world, after this break.

Hello this is Little Bob, reporting a BOX News alert. In the recent count, Scheoder has fallen considerably behind in the electoral count, and Gorring is making quite an impressive showing. Massive crowds have turned up in many northern cities (strongholds of the Social Democrats) to cry election fraud. Many Social Democrat districts have already been counted and if Schroder has not won now, it is unlikely he has a chance.
To this, we turn to our field reporter, Laurie.
-=Kyusho City, North Lame Bums=-
Laurie: It is freezing cold here, being only 12 degrees Fahrenheit. But, as you can see behind me, is tens of thousands of people gathering chanting "Schroder! Schroder!", crying election fraud and already demanding a recount. The police have showed up but the crowd is getting out of control. There have already been several small fights and a major riot is on the horizon. Also, the noise is insane. I can barely hear myself think!
-=The Studio=-
Bob: Well, there you have it. The second major political riot in two days. First the Nazi rally, now this. I have just heard that the army has been called in, and this could get very ugly as the night goes on. May God help us. This is Bob reporting for BOX News. Good night.

Well, the counting is done, and Jimmy Carville is the winner. He is now in the Presidental House for four more years. For a last-minute candidate, Schroder made a decent showing, pulling 23 million votes.
Paruotka just flopped out, not making one million.
Most impressively, Adolf Gorring of the New Aryan Order made a surprisingly strong showing, where as Carville's numbers were a bit lower than usual. I think I know for who the National Alliance voted for.
This is a triumph of conservatism and capitalism, and the last gasp of liberalism in Lame Bums has been quashed.
This is Sam from BOX News. Good night.
