THE HIGH SULTAN HAS CANCER!

In an official statement from the Royal Medical Staff, the High Sultan of Elephantum, Wandu e-Mumman, has an undisclosed form of cancer. He has summoned the best doctors in the country to the Palace's medical rooms to inspect and treat him. When asking doctors about his condition, reporters recieved mixed responses:

"He has a month or two to live"

"The Sultan will most likely come out fine, it will just take some time."

"About a 50/50 chance of survival"

"It depends on how he responds to chemotherapy, but chances of survival are good."

The system of sucession would place his wife in command for two years, after which their son Hiraz would take the throne. However, political experts believe the transfer may not go smoothly, as many in the military want more power.

Official claim that there is no need to worry about the chain of command at this point, as the Sultan is still able to carry out his duties. They announced that he was feeling fine, and was going to continue with his plans to visit Emperor Rothsky I of Cotland at his coronation.
