The election campaign is well underway. The current President is named Jimmy Carville and his approval is at 70%. He is running for re-election, along with four other challengers.
What happens will be somewhat affected by the opinion here on the forum. I know the forum lean way left and we have to live with it, so I'll counterbalance.
There for five canidates:
First, for re-election is Jimmy Carville He pursues an aggressive foreign policy, is big pro-business, and hard on morality. He is of the National Republican party.
Political Compass: +8.00, +4.00
The main challenger is Sam Edward. He is of the Social Democrats, the far left party in the country. He believes in tree-hugging pacifism, 100% tax, and pure government control. Basically, a communist platform.
Political Compass: -9.00, +6.00
Joe Bushton is the candidate for the conservative party. They are actually considered the moderate party in the new era. They call for a powerful military but big social welfare, and low taxes.
Political Compass: +4.00, -2.00
Jim Paruotka is the sole financier of the Progressive party, and he pushes leftist ideas similar to the current Democrat party in the US.
Political Compass: -3.00, +5.00
Lastly, Adolf Gorring is running on a scorching platform of the New Aryan Order. He calls for pseudo-Nazi government and actually has considerable support.
Political Compass: +10.00, +9.00
The right-wing National Alliance ran no candidate this year, throwing in their support for Carville.
