The Comcastian troops had gathered in around St. Peter's Obellisk. The Royal Guard had gathered, invited by the Pope Josiah.
"My sons and daughters, welcome to the Holy City. The Pope have gathered you all here today to witness a most spectacular event. Pope Josiah I has decided he want wants you to become his Guard."
The Swiss Guard shifted uncomfortibly. They, afterall, had guard the Pope for years. The Comcastian troops felt a swelling of pride in their chests as the Pope refered to him self in the third person and invited them to this most Holy of military service.
Queen Naolm II of Comcastia wondered what the Pope had up his sleeve about that time. She liked the sound of this. Comcastia could finally be put on the map.
"The Pope has grown tired of his people. They are not what the Pope wants or needs. The Pope wants power. The Catholic Church has been insulted with incompetance of Catholic people. It is time for a revoltion."
Queen Naolm knew what the Pope was doing. The had been secretly conversing for year.
"It is time," she said simply.
The Pope ordered his Guard into formation. This was done wtih timing and presicion. The Royal Guard loaded their weapons. It was time for The Vatican Revolution.

The Democratic Republic of Centillion, suspicious of the Pope's intentions, sends (7) X-45A UCAV Unmanned Vehicles over the Vatican to take high resolution photographs of the Pope's preperations.

Deploy the 3rd Batllion into the outside the Coourt Yard. The Pope must win.

The men were hungry. They always were. But soon they would eat. Their King had been speaking with the Pope for a bit and had decided to help him carry out his rebellion.
They waited patiently outside Vatican City. Searching the sky for the signal that would send them running to secure a city of faith.
They would love the looting and feasting to follow.

Centillion high offiicials have recieved evidence that the Pope is preparing for a revolution from the photographs recieved from unmanned air vehicles. The Democratic Republic of Centillion prepares 12 F-35 Fighter Jets to fly towards the Vatican from 2 Aircraft Carriers, located in various positions throughout the Mediterranean Sea.

The Swiss Army, no longer in under the Pope's command, opened fire upon the Royal Guard. Shots were returned. The remaining Swiss Guard decided they would hole up in St. Peter's Basilicka if they could get across the Courtyard. they ran toward the building, only to ambushed by a group of urban warriors. Licking their lips, the pounced upon the Guards. Tearing flesh from their limbs, they indulged on the sweet, dripping raw meat. 21 guards managed to make it into they building.
The Pope laughed evily. He smiled at Queen Naolm. With much years of careful planning, the plan ran smoothly.

I will destroy the Pope's military and take his land for Rome.
I will send the 60th-70th 2nd MEU-SOC Regiments.

The Pope has allies. He is allied With Comcastia and Camel Eaters. Soon he will have more reinforcements.

A dozen Z-21 bombers flew over head, dropping small explosives at keys points in the City. The Pope has his reinforcements as 3 fresh batallions of Comcastian Marines arrive at the city.

12 F-35 Fighter Jets approach the Vatican. They are prepared for a missile attack. Map needed.

A ship landed off the shores. A massive ship it charged onto the bank in a blanket of white washed water.
The men inside cheered as they loaded into their tanks and set off for the Vatican. They powered over brush and trail charging into the land outside.
Thirty tanks waited patiently to be let inside.
The RMTK had arrived.

Centillion figher jets send 24 AIM-120 AMRAAM Slammer missiles towards Vatican soldiers in formation. An additional 12 are sent to buildings in which the Pope is expected to be.

A message was sent back:

The Camel Eaters soldiers present smirked as they loaded up loot from the Vatican gathering it into piles.
The men looked it over with prying eyes thinking of its value. They divided it up amongst themselves.

The commander looked over the scene quickly. He sighed and realized most of the good stuff had been taken.
He waved an arm forward and watched as the tanks unloaded into the walls of the Basilica. Trying to ferret out the Swiss Guard.

"No!" Shouted General of the Centillion army.

He then did what no Centillion General had ever done. He ordered a massive air attack on the Vatican to weed out looters and remaining soldiers under order of the Pope. A group of 25 Joint Strike Fighter X-35 Aircraft were sent to drop a total of over 200 bombs on various sites located in what was once the Vatican.
