It had been many weeks since the revolution and for the first time in over three hundred years, a different leadership was in place, gone was the tyrannical monarchy and in was the ever watchful communism that the people of Kriegorgrad had fought so long and hard to bring about.

The newly titled “Comrade Leader” Nikolai Fedorenkov stood up to the podium as over four hundred cameras followed his every step, numerous foreign cameras were among those present, each camera criticising his every flaw and praising his every plus in the late morning light, red banners having an angelic orange hue. The crowd in the massive square began to have excited murmurs about communism and it’s equality.

Nikolai Fedorenkov was by no means a strong looking man, he wasn’t particularly short so he had a bit of height to him but even his average height couldn’t hide the apparent weakness when one looked at him, the men around him were all tall and muscled whereas their leader was a small, lanky man yet he commanded the respect and admiration of billions of people in Kriegorgrad, it was ironic that such a weedy men had far larger men in a stasis of fear and love.

The cameras flashed as they consumed every detail on their narrow screens, with over three hundred angles of Nikolai, nothing would go unnoticed with that many cameras on the confident Nikolai, clothed in some red trimmed officer’s uniform that one would expect from the Maoist era.

Finally, the small man began to speak into the microphone, less feedback affected than usual.

“Comrades, for too long have the people of Kriegorgrad toiled under the whips of our oppressors and at long last, the shackles of oppression have been cast off by the almighty hammer and sickle of the proletariat!

However…we must take a different path to that we have toiled towards, the path is the same in principle, just different in action, however, this change in direction is for the good of the people of Kriegorgrad. It is to stop the evil overlord Kriegor Zan Varr from returning to shackle us to the sturdy post of monarchy, denying us the freedom to go forth and believe in what we want to believe!

The system we will follow is oligarchic collectivism; we will even use the name of communism because the systems are so similar it is very similar to communism in all ways except one minor detail, I must receive more power than I would under a purely communist regime.”

The crowd would’ve yelled and bawled at this if they had the courage to stand up to the brute squads that ringed the square, just out of sight of all the cameras but nearly everyone present didn’t know what an “oligarchic collective” state meant, they all thought it was something similar to communism.

“You must understand comrades, that I do this not for my personal gain, but for yours! If Kriegor Zan Varr is to be kept away from our glorious communist nation! We must remain strong and resolute but above all: WE MUST REMAIN LOYAL TO THE LEADER!

If people fail to understand that last point, they must be purged for the good of the people!

And finally, every alliance Kriegorgrad was previously in, will know that this is the resignation of Kriegorgrad, we will not tolerate our grand nation being in any alliances such as the fascist pigs of the Right Wing Collective or the cowardly hounds of the World Anti Communist League.

Those deviant alliances expressed the will of the evil regime of Kriegor Zan Varr, not the will of the people.”

And with that, Comrade Leader Nikolai Fedorenkov stood down from the podium, the cameras following him as he disappeared into the mostly rebuilt palace of Krieg.

IC: Nikolai smiled graciously as he felt the golden hammer and sickle, he set it down on the oakwood desk and allowed his eyes to wander over it's gleaming edges and surfaces, the early evening light pouring through his window mirrored that of the the early morning, when the sun was just awakening and casting it's orange glow across the landscape, he called for one of his assistants who rushed in before being told to get on the computer and to send the following messages to the three nations.

Any attempt on Kriegorgrad or the upcoming elections in Karuchea will result in the full wrath of Allah coming down on your country.

"Come on, hurry!"

The frantic whisper was given as the three teenagers hid behind a stack of crates at Camp David, the main military headquarters. A searchlight passed by once, twice, three times. Babbling was heard in the distance, presumably by soldiers enjoying their Friday night. Their names were Bob, Joe, and Sam. They had been small-time punks in their neighborhood, usually bullying other people on their block.

Now, for a dare, someone at their school had challenged them to sneak into the Camp David military base and steal a plane.

Looking in hindsight, Bob saw how stupid this whole thing was. He zoned out, staring at a box called "Stolen." Sam and Joe ignored Bob at first, decidiing to steal the crate. With some effort they had managed to haul it into a nearby C-36 bomber, which was unguarded.

At this moment, Sam stumbled into a towering pile of ammo crates.

The resulting crashes and noise were enough to wake up the whole base.

"Holy shit dude now look what you've done!" Joe said to Sam, furious.
"Don't look at me, where is Bob?" Sam said, trying to keep his calm.

At this moment, the worst happened. Alarms went off, more searchlights turned on, and soldiers - some still with crumbs of food in their mouths or wearing boxer shorts - poured into the area, armed.

"RUN FOR IT!!" Sam shouted.
"Where?!" Joe responded.
"Into there - the plane! Maybe we can fly it out of here!" Sam said in desperation.

They literally flew into the old C-36, completely forgetting about Bob.

Bob sat there, daydreaming about what he could have been doing. He could have been pimping or smoking some pot, but no he was in a military base. Just then he was snapped to attention. A soldier poked him in the head with an assault rifle. Bob blindly followed the soldier's orders, still in the next world. He passed out to the beating a few seconds later.

Back on the plane..

"Come on, can you fly this?" Sam said to Joe.
"We'll soon find out" Joe said in return.

He pressed a button. BOOM. A shotgun was fired at the locked hatch of the C-36, making a dent in it. Boom. Another shot. A few more and the soldiers would get in the plane and then the two would be done for. Joe frentically moved a lever forward. There was some noise but nothing happened. Boom. Another shell hit the door, twisting the old hatch sideways. Joe thought to himself "It was probably the flaps" Sam's panicked voice came from below "They're about to break in!"

Joe frantically moved another lever forward. Now he heard a familiar sound: the engines were coming to life! Some hope at last!

CRASH. The door gave way to the repeated shotgun blasts. Just then, the engines revved up. The soldiers shouted something indistinguishable. Then, amid screams, two were sucked into an engine. Nothing but gory bits came out the other end. Three ran away barely in time. Another one held on to the side of the plane. Sam looked for a way to get the soldier off. Just then he remembered the rubber bands he had used to shoot other people in class that very day. He took aim and it was true. The sting of the rubber band was just enough for the soldier to lose his grip. He flew back, screamed, and was also sucked into the engine.

The plane was good to go and the engines were revved, but the plane wasn't moving. "Shit shit shit shit!!!" Joe thought to himself. He had forgotten to remove the rubber stoppers before they got in!

Just then a whole company of soldiers showed up. They immediately fired on the plane, causing bullets to ricochet everywhere. Somehow during the crossfire, the stopper was dislodged. The plane immediately began to move. The soldiers gave way but continued to fire. This time their efforts worked: one of the engines caught on fire.

Joe moved the plane forward, oblivious to the engine on fire. He had played many flight sim games on his computer at home but he had never done it under fire and with his life on the line.

He attempted to line up on a runway, being pursued by angry soldiers in Jeeps and Humvees. Right then a SAM missile was fired from the tower at the airplane. Right then, Joe threw the throttle all the way forward.

This insane story will continue when I have time and everyone will understand how this is relevant to the new Communist takeover :)

To our friends in Karuchea, we are pleased with the AK74, it is a true marvel, it shall sit on the mantle next to the Hammer and Sickle to remind us that Marx's ideals must sometimes be realised through force, also, do not trouble yourself with the nation of Lame Bums, we have encountered their ilk before, they will talk and talk but never fight.

It appears that the new regime of Kriegorgrad is no different to the last. They are still a warmongering regime that has no heart for peace. They have viciously assaulted our outpost (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=393477), but their assault has been beaten back with minimal losses and it is proven that the Kriegos are still warmongering and bloodthirsty, whatever the regime. We hereby condemn the Kriegos Government, and at this point refuse all trade into Kriegorgrad from our nation.
We urge other Socialist nations to do the same.
