Ground-Breaking Military Technology Unveiled

Zvino Grad, Daikerta- Since the growing international tensions between nations across the world, it has become evident that a homeland defense is a top priority. The latest war Daikerta has been involved in, the Guffingfordian War, is a testament to this fact. Scientists at Zvino Grad, Daikerta's premier science and research facility, have been hard at work creating new and evolutionary technology to help usher the Grand Empire into a new level of military power. Some of these new inventions are in their final stages of development, and have been declassified and released for public discussion.


PEGS Engine: Plasma Energy Gathering System. A new type of engine being developed for mass production by Heinz and Ward Engineering, Inc. Atoms in the air are harnessed through vents in the front of the engine, which are then stripped of their elections through the use of superconductors. They are then charged with electrical currents and released as plasma energy through treated jets in the back of the engine. Aircraft that are powered by the new PEGS engines will be able to go up to speeds nearly 8 times their former maximum. The PEGS Engine will be found in missiles, aircraft, and even sea-faring vessels in the early future.

SCIT System: Super Computer Integration Technology. SCIT Systems are the new age of smart weaponry, and will eventually replace the old form of targeting in the near future. The SCIT microchip placed inside the missile or Psycosrammer compute the distance and size of their target, and also figure the surrounding environment. The SCIT separates solid material from gases and liquids, and also separates moving objects from stationary ones. The result is the missile’s ability to dodge potential threats to its target, and using the PEGS engine, outmaneuver them and outrun them if necessary. If multiple SCIT’s are deployed near each other, they can relay ‘commands’ to each other, if one SCIT is closer to a target than another. This interrupts the enemy’s ability to shake the missiles off. They can also be made to follow distinct paths, such as circling aircraft if the SCIT chip is in a Psycoscrammer.

Psycoscram® Technology: Theory of releasing dozens of small (about 1/5 the size of a normal missile) transmitters around a ship or aircraft. The transmitters move and react at the same speed and mobility as the object they were released from. When radar wavelengths of any kind are transmitted, the ‘Psycosrammers’ amplify the atomic density surrounding them, which in turn shows up as an object the exact size and distance away from the aircraft or vessel they are trying to conceal. This makes targeting from radar nearly impossible. The most common Psycoscrammers are found in aircraft, but many are also developed for missiles and naval ships.

GHOST Skin: GHOST is the name given to the electrochromic polymer composite material being tested for use on the Empire's aircraft. These thin sheets cover the aircraft’s skin and sense the hue, color and brightness of the surrounding sky and ground. The image received is then projected onto the aircraft’s opposite side. When charged to a certain voltage, these panels undergo color change. The result of this is the aircraft's ability to become physicaly invisible to the naked eye.


Rumors are abound that the current vessels and aircraft currently in use by the Imperial Army are going to be decommisioned after the war, and replaced with state of the art new weaponry, outfitted with many of these new inventions. If this is indeed true, expect a new and immensely powerful Daikertan war machine to be born in the near future.

Eh, so you're going to strip the atoms of their electrons and then charge them? You do know that charging them means either giving them an electron or a proton - so in consequence, by stripping them of their electron you've gotten rid of their charge and by charging them you've returned them to their normal state.

Also, an aircraft could go over Mach 3 with a normal SCRAMjet engine. The problem is that the frame of the air craft wouldn't be able to sustain those speeds - it would disentigrate.

Cut me some slack, I tried doing my research on plasma, and it said "electrically charged atoms that have been stripped of the electrons." All of the technology I have stated in my post is actually being designed or has been designed by world super powers. The US has tested combat planes at Mach 6(two machs over the world record) with normal results- no disintegration.

Each plane would be equipped with 3 of these scrammers, 3/5 the size of a normal missile. I don't see your reasoning here.

This is another piece of technology being developed by joint-American British forces. Planes with this aren't being deployed to meet a whole lot of resistance anyways. A very select few planes will be coated with this polymer.

As you can see I'm not exactly going for a modern-tech nation.

well, yea, if he wants to go into an RP with that tech and not be yelled at OOCly I was only suggesting to revise it - but seeing as he doesn't care I let him be..but if he ever goes to war with somebody who's oriented towards a degree of realism he's going to face a heated discussion.

Also, Macabees, according to your reasoning, any future tech nation, past, or fantasy nation is godmodding. I honestly don't think any of the things I stated was bending TOO many rules.

The problem is that not everyone wants to get the sh*t bored out of them researching very dull technology to decrease the air resistance on a bullet by 1/10000th. It kind of rapes the fun out of rp.

But it sucks to have to go through all that crap to rectify a slight mistake when your rangers fire a bullet at someone who is 2 metres out of range and some arse tells you to stop using b.s. technology.

I'm in now way promoting that - however, technology that uses techno-babble, in MT tech that is (not FT as I learn D. is), is not acceptable for serious RPers.

Well, I'm sorry that since I use techno-bauble I am not considered a serious rp'er. Time to let this thread die, cuz I don't want to argue. I'm using that technology, if you don't like it, ignore me. Simple as that, I'm not changing my view just because one person thinks its unrealistic.
