13:48 January 3 - The Random Kingdom government was today dissolved leading into a brief period of anarchy. What will follow will be a revolutionary new form of government for the nation.
Previous Random Kingdom governments branched off regular republican/democratic methods involving a single prime minister and a cabinet of ministries and head ministers. Of course, the first change was to increase the number of prime ministers to 3, making the main area of the government more level and representative. Then the supreme ministers were replaced with a board of 64 elected senators, which brought much corruption. This time, the power will definately be handed to the people.
For the first time in RK, states will become independant with their own mini-governments. Since these so-called "state unions" will be granted almost absolute power, the people will finally be able to make a huge impact on their community. All of these state unions will be governed by a national body, the Collective of Unions, which will represent the whole of RK in international incidents. Also, any bills passed in state unions can be forwarded to the COU to be voted on by the entire nation of RK. If the bill receives quorum, it becomes a national law/bylaw.
All members of the unions will be selected on an "ability not nobility" basis (people will be elected by the people regardless of social status), and all protected buildings will be made public, hopefully giving the government a slight air of communism without the corruption.
Currently, however, anarchy has taken over the nation as ministers and representatives are being picked for the COU. Once the seats have been taken, the COU will take control of the entire nation until the state unions have been filled.
