My parent nation, Cygnusifalco, spent part of its life in a region all by itself, isolated from other nations save in UN participation. Before I seceded from it (a non-violent secession), Cygnusifalco had settled into a region. However, my nation and Cygnusifalco have begun to feel a need to become our own two-nation ((OOC: one person) nation. So, in the interest of curiosity, I ask for your opinions on solo regioning ((OOC: read as "one person region)).

Can it be a good thing, or is it better to be in a region with others?

It depends on what you want. Being in a region with other nations can be much more rewarding, but being alone allows you to make decisions without pressure. If you are looking for a region to join, check out The Dominion. You will be welcome there.
