I have recently discovered the small nation of Unified Hippes, run by my friend Jony Haworth. Now, we at our school all know that he is gay, and this nation of Unified Hippies just escaltes the matter to a whole new level. He has disgraced all those members of NationStates at our school, adn we feel that a war against him is necessary to sort him out. Do we have a decnet case for war, and if so, when can we invade to destroy this nation of Hippies? :sniper: :mp5:

This is the second thread of nations no more than three days old going to war for no plausible reason. It's crazy!

Just a bit of advice, I think you'd get more support if:
1) You had a real reason to invade, and
2) If your national flag wasn't a picture of Osama.

I just started this nation game and I just want to know what you think about Joinging the UN I really want this game to be more exciting but I dont want other people controlling the outcome of my nation so what do you think?

No one controls the outcome of your nation except you. Joining the UN has no cons, as far as I know, unless you don't like the small blue icon that says "UN" next to your nation name. :p

Some nations allow UN delegate control, meaning that if you are elected as the UN delegate, then you can boot people out, change the world factbook entry, etc.

Laws are passed in the UN, but since I myself am not a UN member, I have no idea what they impact or have any idea as to what they do. You vote to pass or to veto the law. If you have endorsements from other countries, your vote counts for more. And.. thats about it.

Hey FDW wrong thread to post that, anyway if you don't want to join the UN then you don't need to, you can be a nation outside the UN, like many other nations.


Anyway, less talk more nuking. He wants to go to war for a stupid reason, his flag is a picture of Osama, i say that is enough a reason to drop several nukes on him or to power up the IGNORE cannon and prime it to fire.

I don't wish to start any more flaming, but you guys have totally the wrong end of the stick. Boris & Hippies are really very good friends at school - i myself am friends with both of them. So don't worry about the insults - thay're a joke. On the matter of Bin Laden, i agree that to have a flag as that is unacceptable, but it's not for us to deal with - we should submit the issue to the moderators to sort out.

Hope this resolves the issue.
