Internet implementations in Random Kingdom threaten telegram service.

Random Kingdom

The telegram service in Random Kingdom is an elaborate system, second only to the postal service. It is used more often than telephones, and a telegram station graces every house. However, the beginning of plans to put RK in line with other nations by implementing a hookup to the Internet will probably see the end of this communication network in most areas. This is a major phase of the government plan to bring Random Kingdom into the postmodern era, which began years ago but was forgotten in incidents like the geckoid invasion and the pirate attacks. This has already been touched on with the institutional implementation of the so-called "Matrix", but this time it will be a direct connection for government organizations to the global network.
