Meltdown, Emperor of The Anikan Empire

The Anikian Empire is now delgating a larger portion of its budget for military expenditures. Our budget is limited, so we cannot purchase much, but we hope to build a foundation and cornerstone for our military. Thus, we would like to see some of the more inexpensive military technology available. Thank you.

Emperor Meltdown, of the Anikian Empire

OOC: In terms of technology, we are slightly post-modern but not by much, so something a small bit more advanced than our current weaponry is acceptable. /OOC

OOC: Why don't you check the storefronts, most of them are quite reasonably priced.

Which tech level are you? I could give you a 20% discount, if you are Future tech, at my store fronts.

I beleive that if you are modern tech and wish to become future tech, you may actually keep your modern tech army so you can do MT RP's and FT RP's. One of my allies is doing that, anyways.

By the way, your budget is kind of low to beable to purchase future tech items. Most you could buy off of me is a Tyderium Shuttle, and a couple of tie fighters. Not much of an army. But you can still keep my offer in mind if you go to future tech.

OOC: Well, I wasn't really planning to go FT. I'll look at the storefronts, thanks. /OOC

Our upgrade and re-tool of the A-4 Skyhawk has been completed and we have begun production of new A-4X Skyhawk IIs. Based on the same airframe we have made sevral improvements including the addition of a new more powerful engine, advanced avionics,a phased array radar, FLIR systems and counter measures. Also it now has one fuselage, two wingtip and four wing hard points (inboard wing hardpoint can carry double launcher for mavericks) and carries a variety of missles bombs or rockets. The aircraft also has in-flight re-fuel and carrier landing capabilties like the orignal.

This is a great Light-Attack aircraft which is highly manevrable compared with other attack-aircraft. This comes in handy when trying to evade infared SAMs and other enemy aircraft. Also when configured in the Anti-helicopter role (8 stingers 2 sidewinders and external fuel tank) it can be quite efficent at destroying enemy helicopters. In an emergency it can be used as a fighter/interceptor to destroy incoming bombers or other attack aircraft. It is an excellent aircraft for Naval vessels because of its small size.

A-17 Warhawk II Attack Aircraft
http://img78.photobucket.com/albums/v293/grunt74/A-17.jpg
In the opinons of The Phoenix Milita commanders, there is no better attack aircraft, nothing which can perform anti-tank, close air-support and anti-helicopter roles as well as the A-10 Thunderbolt. That was of course, until the advent of the A-17 Warhawk. The A-17 features improved versions of the Titanium armor and a 30mm DU gatling cannon of the A-10. A new configuration allows for more missiles and bombs to be carried, the foward canards allow for hellfires to be fitted in additon to the other armaments. In fact in one configuration it can carry and fire 38 hellfires, (this would only be done if you were facing alot of tanks and no SAMs, aircraft or infantry) The A-17 can take out 12 SAMs, tanks, artillery positions or AAA from 25 miles away, using it's maverick missiles. This combined with its countermeasures and armor makes it an extremly survivable aircraft. It also has improved engines with a IR signature limiters which help reduce the area that a heat seeking missle has to lock on to. This also limits the aircraft to 700mph (250mph faster than the A-10 mind you) The three rudders, canards and wing configration make the A-17 extremly maneverable for an aircraft of this type. Also, if 2 of the 3 rudders are destroyed, it can still fly home thanks to the computer-control system which will correct for the lack of the other two rudders and steer the aircraft with only the intact one.

and next we have a pair of low-cost bombers:

B-16 PRN II Bomber
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v293/grunt74/NS1/PRN-2.gif
The B-16 PRN II Bomber is based on the old PRN-1 Bombers we had in our inventory. We have improved upon the original, PRN, which was a cheap, easy to use weapon of last resort which carried a single 10,000lb bomb.
We have added a retractable nose cone, so that once the bomb is released, the aircraft remains aerodynamic. Two ports on the side of the "fuselage" near the engine ports hold 2 defensive air-to air weapons (one 20mm ChainGun and one AIM-132 ASRAAM). It has a FLIR scope to target the AIM-132, but no conventional radar, the chaingun is manually targeted with HUD aiming assitance.
We suggest you use satelite or television guided bombs.
If you must use a laser guided bomb, a trgt designator can be put in place of the scope.
