Lokiaa

Greetings. This is the diplomatic service of the United States of Lokiaa, speaking on behalf of President Steele.
We are quite happy to join the international community on this day, but our people are relativley poor and backwater. We have much work to do before we become respectable.
First off, a brief description of Lokiaa.
We are, obvioulsy, new. A nation 5 million people in the Emporium, we are renowned for pristine and untouched wilderness. Agriculture is a common occupation(only our uranium mining industry is respectable), and the land, while beautiful and filled with waterfalls and forests, holds little promise for natural resources.
This, of course, means little promise for future growth.
We are willing to accept foreign corporations to relocate to Lokiaa and grant rights to the forests of Ander(10,000 sq. miles) for $100 million Each lease will permit the corporation to harvest 1,000 miles, meaning 10 are up for sale. First come, first serve. (though beware, minimum wage is $3 American.)
Secondly, Lokiaa is now accepting diplomatic envoys. 100 plots of land have been designated for new embassies , should countries wish to establish connections.
Also, we need a military force. Though our country is peaceful and democratic, the rural nature of our peoples means that it is possible for the people to become unruly. An army must be in place to maintain order.
10,000 soldiers are already in place, and an army base is under construction. In addition, 20 T-72s and 6 Mi-24s have been ordered.
However, we are now accepting bids to train 40 special operatives A hostage situation or civil war is entierly possible, and these soldiers will be needed.
Finally, we are also accepting bids to train 100 engineers in military hardware . We do wish to produce weapons at some point in time, but, unfortunatley, our people are unfamiliar with the processes of heavy industry.
Electrical engineering is not a must, and neither is chemical. We simply wish to produce actual weapons. (Electronics can be purchased overseas)
Thank you very much for you generous support, and from the President and the people of Lokiaa, we welcome your generous help.
