Jake stroked his goatee. It was a nervous habit of his. He looked at his wife, asleep at her laptop, and his kids, watching TV on the couch. He knew that he would never see them again. He knew that he was placing them in grave danger. Their sacrifices, as well as his, were necessary. Tomorrow was the day. He would make those pigs pay for their crimes. But for now he had to rest.

The Sevarisian Embassy in Kahta city
Jake walked through security, like he did every day. But today was different. “Unfortunately” the normal guard had been hospitalized with a strange virus. The temporary guard, which Jake “luckily” knew let him slip pass security, even though he knew that he had explosives hidden under his jacket.

Outside on the street
A black SUV pulled up to the entrance of the Embassy. Alan knew that the last moments of his life were to be spent here, in this SUV, which stunk of fish. He said a silent prayer, and then pushed the button.

Inside the Embassy
Jake heard the explosion outside. Now under the cover of chaos, he could complete his mission. He ran to the exit, where the largest group of people was. There had to be at least fifty people in his blast radius. He thought of his wife, his kids, his dog. Then he pushed the button.

A small squad of Chinook transport helicopters soared in the sky above the chaotic city. On cue, the blast doors slid open, and 150 Feralimancer paratroopers dropped from the sky, white dots barely visible against the bright sky. Their mission was to act as recon to ascertain the situation. The fanatics loved a good fight, but only the mainbrain would decide if war a necessary. And it could only decide with the help of the scouts.

The scout's altered eyes noted every detail of the city, as each scanned a certain section from the aerial view. Filed away safely in the mental banks of the minds of the scouts that were fed into the main computer on the mainland were factuals of buildings, defensible positions, possible sniper spots, open areas, and the like. They were trained in surveillance, and in this they excelled.

A very few were shot down from rapid gunfire, but they died for their country and their people. They were not true fanatics, though they did not fear death. Yet each held within himself the fear of failure to the mainbrain, as the consequences were destructive and often very, very painful.

Steve braved the icy waters with nothing but a wetsuit to shield him from the cold. His mission was simple. He was to blow the Delaware Memorial Bridge to hell. He didn't know who hired him, or why they wanted it done. All he knew was that it payed BIG. He reached the area where he was supposed to plant the C4. Carefully hidden on the riverbank was a dark bag. He retrieved the bag and removed the C4. Strapping the C4 he thought about the things he would buy with his payment. Cars, boats, houses, and women were only a few of the possibilities. He set the bomb for 1:00, and began to swim away.

Up on the bridge John was sure he had saw something moving in the water below. He put the scope of his rifle to his eye and steadied it on a wall. There was a guy swimming down there! He had his orders. He carefully aimed at the man, and fired the high-powered rifle. He watched the man buckle back, then sink. "We had a swim-" BOOM!

The bridge was destroyed, it sunk into the water.

The sudden explosion took the garrison on the Sevarisian side of the Delaware by surprise. As soon as they heard the blast, a company of soldiers rushed out to observe the damage. The company commander then called in for helicopters to search the Delaware for dead/survivors.

We have concluded that Sevaris is behind the attacks on the Delaware Memorial Bridge, most likely as a cheap way to reject the immigrants from Kahta.

I ask that Sevaris pay $500 Billion for the destruction of the Delaware memorial bridge, and turn over control of every Bridge between Kahta and Sevaris. Failure to comply will result in military action to seize these bridges.

I am most concerned about the irrational course of action your nation is taking. Please, provide the international community with proof before you threaten war. "Military action" to seize border crossings could very quickly develop into an all-out war, detrimental to everyone involved. I ask you to please reconsider your decision.

Earlier Today, a man was arrested trying to blow up the Palace in which our glorious Czar and Czarina reside. The man arrested was a self proclaimed Sevarian national, trying to complete a mission for the Kaiserina of Sevaris, Yuna Thewhore. The man, identifed as Robert Graves, lived in Baltimore. He will be returned to Sevaris via rocket.
