Parliament has decided to curb its losses and centre the nation on its own aims and goals.
"Our influence in worldly affairs has dwindled to nothing, and it's thanks to such policies," Henry Dowding, leader of the Opposition Liberal Democratic Party.
"We can't understand why the Government would decide on such a policy in this time of worldly strife," Elizabeth Pickering, leader of the Labour Party declared. "What kind of message is this sending to the world?"
Obviously none of any importance to the Government, in the opinion of the ruling Conservative Party.
"The time to redevelop and change our economy is now. We have to start retrenching to allow our businesses to compete nationally and internationally. The only way of doing that is to redress certain unnecessary over-expenditures," the Minister of Economic Affairs, James Carstairs declared.
