OOC: Okay everyone I want to give RPing a civil war another try. I had to abandon the last because school, work, and other things piled on me so high that I forgot about it. But this time I planned it better, I hope that this time around I won't be buried with IRL stuff. I am gonna use the first post from my last try, but it is gonna be heavily modified.


IC:

"No more purges!! No more purges!! Free Goverment for Tagio!!" was the resounding chant of a large crowd that had assembled on the steps of the Palace of Kings. Amongst the crowd members were those holding up stereos that blared "My Address is the Soviet Union".

Standing on the palace steps and in the darkness of the over hanging roof was Princess Mary, the princess had changed much over the years, she had found herself unable to resist the power she wielded over her brother, King Erich. As a result Mary had become coruppted by that power and the recent purges had all but de-santized her to mass killing.

Standing next to Mary was Willhuf Husiman, the commander of the Royal Guard. Husiman was the latest of a long line of lovers Mary had taken in order to keep her power. Commander Husiman was not a kind commander, as a result all but a few feared him, this fit perfectly in with Husimans policy of "Obedince through Fear".

Staring coldly out at the rebels Mary's bluish-steel eyes narrowed "These protestors are a disturbence to the peace of the land. I want you disperse them and restore the peace Commander Husiman, do it quickly and there might be a reward for you" with that Mary turned around and dissapered up the stairs and in the palace.


Husiman smiled, he did like Mary's 'rewards' turning to his soldiers he yelled "Guards! Tighten up the line!" the soldiers nodded and the little white line in front of the palace signifigently tightned up. "Fix Bayonets!" the soldiers all took out a long steel bayonet and slid it onto the rifles. Then Husiman walked to the front of the line. "Ye protestors have five minutes to desperse or I shall disperse ye by force!"

A youth with long black hair walked to the front of the crowd "You may kill some of us, but you will never kill our movement!" this prompted a number of shouts from others in the crowd like: "You captialist cowards! You don't have the guts to kill us!".

Husiman nodded "If that is your answer then I will answer you in kind. Guards! disperse these rabble rousers!" The guardsmen all brought their guns to the firing position and let loose a whole clip of bullets directly in front of them before charging in.....



"Fascist pigs kill peace demostraters!" was the news headline that spread throughout the so called "Red Underground" by way of banned Communist newspapers. The news was met with cold dread wherever it went, and the shock was especially hard for Kurt Bruasagnic, leader of the banned Tagi Red Front party. Bruasagnic had used all of his power in the Red Underground to keep the voices of military revolution quiet. But now that was impossible because of the massarce.


“Comrade Leader we can no longer ignore the cries of the people, we must arm and declare an independent state, NOW!” said one man standing up angerly in the little bunker below the city of Kausingar. Kurt nodded to the man "I know that Peter, I had such high hopes for a peaceful transfer to communism. But that witch in Tagistead has made that impossible, my boy died in that massarce...." Peter looked shocked and put a hand on Kurt's shoulder "I am sure that all of Tagi communism will feel the loss of Alexi, Kurt I am sorry" Kurt shook it off and walked off to the broadcasting station.


“People of Tagio and all who hear this message! For too long have we suffered now under regimes that have not cared for the people! The Nazi regime proscuted thousands, the Republic was joke, and the Monarchy is a going down the road to Nazism. I had hoped for peaceful transaction of power with the coming election, but the purges of Princess Mary and the recent massarce have made that impossible! It is because of this that I hereby declare an independent Soviet Socialist Republic of Tagio with its capital here in Kausingar, though I ultimately aspire to make Tagistead our capital. I also declare myself, Kurt Bruasagnic, Prime Minister of Tagio until this is over. I call for every freedom loving man, woman, and child to help us overthrow the evil regime of Erich, Mary and the Royal Guard! I vow now that I will not rest until Tagio is finally free of all opressors and a Communist goverment sits in Tagistead!"

In Tagistead meanwhile the news was ill received by Mary. “Who does this mind warping pig think he is!!” she screamed at Husiman. "Appereantly he thinks himself Tagio's true leader" he answered calmly.

Mary glared daggers at her lover "Now is not the time for jokes Commander, I want that Commie rebel captured and brought to Tagistead to be hanged, in as a fast a time as possible. Do you understand me?" Husiman nodded "I do my lady, I will crush these rebels in a mere month. And when I come back I will cover you in diamonds my love"

The Princess smiled falsely "Thank you darling, but you had better not come back until those Commie freaks are dead"

IC: The Dominion of Zanziik's Supreme Overlord Michael has officially recognized the Royalist party as the rightful government of Tagio, due to the obvious and evident failings of the socialist system. He has declared that the Royalists of Tagio shall recieve $100,000,000 of aide per annum until the closing of this dispute, and shall receive military backing if necessary.

The Dominion of Unified Zanziik (Sorry for the name change, I forgot it in the first post.) has begun preparations to send three (4) Naval Assault Groups into Tagio's waters. Also, nuclear alert level has been raised from green to yellow in case of attack upon Zanziik. The Naval Groups are expected to arrive in Tagi waters withing one NS week.

The USN supports the rebellion. We will send 4 companies from the 1st Red Guard regiment to the country as soon as transportation is made ready. This consists of 400 guardsmen, 40 officers between the ranks of Ensign to captain, led by Major Ivan Gorban. The troops are equipt with Bullpup rifles, 12 .30 light machine guns, 12 RPG-7s. We support the revolution to overthrow any corrupt government! Tagi royalist government, there now exists a state of war between our 2 countries!

A large B95 learcat swoops low over the Tagi terrain, heading fast for the protest *cackles on the radio* "does Hockey Canada have permission to drop a mace-bomb on the revolt to disperse the crowd or to frop it on the building just outside it? " *cackling ends*

A pair of small ships, painted black, sliently move towards the shore of Tagi in the dead of night. They beach themselves on the abandoned shore, and within half an hour, 4 companies of Red Guard, of the 1st Red Guard army, deploy on the beach and disappear inland, escorted by communist rebels. AK-47s are passed out from the ships to the rebels, and then the ships pull away and sail off into the night.

The Holy Empire of Rebeled Elves would support SSR.

15 ships with blue sails were sent to the shore-side.Each ship has 100 troops!
They arrive at midnight, and then they attack at dawn!

"Sir!" A man stormed into the deputy director's office. The deputy director sat with his sleaves rolled up, a cup of coffee that resembled tar and a cigarette in hand suspended above the ashtray; now an overcrowded mass grave for cigarette butts. "Speak." he grunted.
"Sir! Conflict Tagio!" The analyst blurted
"Reds vs. Royals right?"
"Yes sir! Massacre of Red protesters!"
"Why should I care?"
"Sir! We had a man there. Special liason under the alias 'Ames'"
"What do you mean 'had'?"
"Sir, he, uh, met an untimely fate. He was monitoring the red activity and was amidst the crowd that was massacred."
"Get me a line to the leader of the communist movement. We can't officialy support them, but we will insure that they do not lose."
"Sir? Why are we helping communists?"
"Listen to me. We can't let a principle of government abridge a potential friendship. I have installed more than my share of dictators. It would rest my conscience easier knowing I helped democracy for once."
"Sir! I'll try to contact their leader."

--The Capitol City of The Holy Empire Of Christopher Thompson--
It was a beautiful day. The skies were blue, and the day was warm. Leaves blew from their trees in the courtyard, pushed along by a brisk wind. Inside the Holy Corridors of The Mansion, it all began. The Feuhrer Alucard was a tall, dark-haired flame-brand who treated all but a handfull of people like they were part of th scenery. He rarely went outside, but was in good shape for appearing so lanky. When he did move outside, however, people knew something was afoot. On this day he was happily reading battle reports from his Marine Corps as they pushed all the way into the capitol of Dregruk. He was interrupted by a pretty intern carrying a black folder with white edges. He looked-up as she entered, then looked at the folder. "Shit."
The intern looked uneasy as she handed the folder to him; his reaction was not one he expected she thought as she scurried from the mostly benevolent ruler. He then stole the folder from its' mohagony backround with his white glove, and peered at its' contents.
--10 min. later...--
"That's right, a massacre."..."No no, I know their communists, but this bitch is just like Pirutler."..."Yeah, same circumstances. She uses mass-murder and fear as control, while lavishing herself."..."Yes, I believe a show of force is necessary, this is what we fought for then, and we're here to help that cause."..."One division should be enough to asess the situation and provide moderate tactical support."..."Yes, send the communique as soon as possible." The Feuhrer then hanged up the phone. Shortly after, a message was sent to the rebelling forces through covert means. It was a small envelope left at the doorstep of a known rebel. The man eyed it, then picked it up and peered at what it said on the front: "Red Leader, (insert shore-based deserted place here), (insert very exact longitude, latitude right by water), on (insert date two days away) @ midnight. The Fuehrer Alucard will be there. Don't make the Holy Empire wait." He then looked inside. Nothing. How strange... Then he saw a small vile...that had just cracked. The envelope ignited in a fury; the man threw down the piece of paper onto the cement and watched it burn for a full minute, well beyond ashes into dust as the wind slowly swept it away. Only moments later, a televised broadcast was sent to Princess Mary. It was the Fuehrer, in his office chair, looking directly into the camera. His eyes gleemed with...some hidden emotion. Anger, or maybe curiosity, or maybe even sadness. It was hard to tell. "Princess Mary, my deepest apologies for not making this live, but I have a war in Dregruk to attend to. I will be brief. I have ordered one Holy Division of 2 Nimitz Carriers, 20 AEGIS Ticonderogas, 2 AOE Supply Ships, 10 Los Angelos Submarines and 9 Seawolf Submarines to act as a neutral force in the area. They are to asses the conflict, and possibly take action upon furthur study. They have direct orders from me not to fire unless in direct defense, and only upon my personal discretion. They will not help or engage either side at this moment. They will come in on a heading of (insert heading 50 miles North of landing location where secret talk with rebels will occur) at a speed of ten knots. They will then begin data collection, and may move fluidly throughout your waters to ensure that their data collection is accurate. This force is neutral, please remember, and is no threat to you. We seek only to gain more knowlege and to perhaps peacibly end this as a third-party safe haven for negotiations and treaties if we so decide. Sorry, but I must be leaving now. May the power of God be with you." The transmission ended. "Eeewww. God!" The Fuehrer spat into a trash can. "I hated every second of that. This caniving bitch must be dealt with."
"Are we to attack then, sir?"
"No. First we must make allies. And then we must gain trust. Then knowlege. Only then shall we move our hand. The orders I have given to you that are on this message are to be followed."
"Yessir!" The navy man standing behind camera saluted and ran off to prep the launch.
"And what of the last Seawolf?" Said a very tall, blond-haired man dressed in black preiest robes, wearing glasses asked as he appeared from the shadows.
The Fuehrer gave a wicked grin. "What do you mean?"
"There are ten, not nine in a Holy Division last I saw."
"I'm going on a 'vacation'."
The High Admiral Alexander Anderson gave back an equally powerful grin.
OOC: The sub will meet up at the time and place told to the Rebels under cover of darkness. This is also a Seawolf sub, and they are world-reknown for stealth, with a silent speed of 20 knots. This sub will move in with the carrier group, then split off at 5 knots (almost inperceptably quiet) to the rendevous location where it will pick up whoever is sent there. (Plz let this part go smoothly. This is a fairly good opening I think, and deserves a good start in return.)

UNDISCLOSED LOCATION ON TAGIO COAST LINE



Stefan Bors and Angela Farmini stood on a unknown beach in Communist Tagio, wating for thier mysterious visitor from the international community. All that they had been told was that someone was aiding them and that they were to meet them.


"I sure hope out contact meets us soon Stefan, I am cold out here and the goverment may catch us. You know what they do to communists." said Angela trying to wisper. Angela Farmini was one of those rare communist women in Tagio, she had escaped to Communist territory from her Royalist hometown the first day after the massarce. As a result she was trusted highly by the Communists and distrusted by the Royalists. Angela's devotion to the cause is above question, but her fear of being caught sometimes impaired her judgement.

Stefan shook his head "It is not time Angela, not yet. There is still several minutes left until they are supposed to meet us. Stefan Bors was life-long Communist. Born into a poor family in southern Tagio, Stefan was a communist from a young age, like most men in his family. Stefan has a long criminal record with the goverment for all of his pro-communist literuture and rallys. When the Tagio SSR was founded Stefan joined up immediatly, because he is something of a legend he is already a Comissar.

"Oh..... I guess I am just bit too jumpy" said Anglea managing a embrassed smile.

"You think?" said Stefan trying to be goofy "Well in anycase they will be here soon Angela" he said, this time serious.

--12:00 Midnight, undisclosed location onboard the HN sub Osegawa--
"It is time. Shall we surface, Fuehrer?" Asked Captain Nakegaru.
"Yes." Spoke Alucard. He is a tall (6'4") and lanky yet stron leader, with a tongue of gold. He has pitch-black hair and a deep voice. He is young (25-35), yet wise and eloquent. He wears a red trenchcoat, large red hat and when he prefers, his custom sunglasses. But make no mistake, he is a vicious and dangerously perceptive man when he wants to be.
The sub surfaced with what sounded like a small waterfall. It moved over to a deep inlet where it could safely get close to the given position, and then its' hatch opened. A sailor stepped out, and surveyed the land. Then, he recoiled in fear as he was grabbed on the shoulder and asked "Are you Alucard?"
The man stood in fear for a moment, then realized who he was speaking to. "N-no sir!"
"Be quiet, you fool!" Muttered a woman who, as well as the man, appeared to form from the shadows of the night.
"Right, please come in." The three crawled down the hatch, and the sub then proceeded to dive. The pair were escorted back by four Marines who appeared to have tank-like armor on their chests and legs. They halted at a room, and opened the hatch. Inside was the Fuehrer, sitting quietly. He looked up and gave a grin. "So, you've arrived. Good. Let me begin." He stood up, and the pair were taken aback by his sheer height, and strange aura. He gave a low, wierd laugh and shook their hands. "I am the Fuehrer lucard of The Holy Empire of Christopher Thompson." The sub then got under-way back to the carrier group at 5 knots. They would rendevous with the fleet that was moving toward them in one hour. In this time, he told them of the struggles that he had had in childhood by Pirutler, a man not to unlike their princess, and how he was under the guise of an recon fleet. He spoke of many things; how he could help them soon, hide them, and lend them supples as well as close-air support and naval bombardments. As the trip was coming to a close, he spoke on finale thing to them: He bowed, nearly touching the floor with his head, then stood up and grinned as he spoke, "To you, I pledge my loyalty. The Holy Navy will aid your righeous cause. The Princess will be dead before this war's end." After that, the fleet then moved back to the original position that the secret sub had gone to earlier, arriving at midnight. The two passengers were let off, and they were given a short-bandwith, Level-S encrypted portable radio. "This will last you two months, with a range of 100 NM." The pair looked at the tiny device; it was no larger than a cell phone (and shaped like one as well)! (BTW, I'm post modern (barely))
"Hey, you two payin' attention?!" The Marine snapped his fingers and waved at them. "Okay, to call us, dial 672 and press 'send'. Then you will be preompted with a question. A woman will ask you 'How're you doing?'. Answer something bad; if you answer saying something good than we'll assume you've been caught by the enemy. Okay...Good luck, and God be with you, comrades." The Marine saluted and moved back into the sub, as it slipped into the velvety black of the deep sea...
The Fuehrer then took time to reflect on what the man and woman had told him... (pssst, this is your part...)

Stefan shook Alucard's hand first "It is a pleasure to meet you Fueher Alucard, I am Stefan Bors and I and my partner Angela Farmini are representing the Tagio SSR for this meeting."


Angela then reached foward and shook hands with Alucard "I am too glad to meet you" she said smiling.


Stefan cleared his throat and and spoke "I was told by my goverment to explain our sitiution to you, so I will do so. Angela if I get anything wrong tell me okay?" Angela nodded and waited for him to start.


"Communism as always been repressed in Tagio. First under the Nationalist Nazi reigime, then under the weak Republic, and finally under the Monarchy. We do not understand what caused Mary to start proscuting us though. We thought Mary was our best chance for free government a few years ago, but something has changed her since then. In the present Mary has not taken the news of a SSR to the south of her well. All Communists that did not get out following the Foundation are dead, in death camps, or sex slaves for the officer corps. Skirmishes with the Royalists all along the border have increased over the past few days, we think they are planning something big. Last I checked our leader, Comrade Bruasagnic, has ordered an all out attack on the river city of Ebrego to preempt them." then he wispered something in Angela's ear, causing her to take Stefan's place.


"Despite the fact that our army is indeed massive, for the southlands are incredibly populus, most the men we are sending to Ebrego will not have modern weapons, just old Tagar Rifles and AK-47s. It is unfortunate that the weapons factories are still loyal to Mary, our Intel division is still trying to figure that one out. We need modern weaponary to win this war that much is certain, we may have numbers but the Royalists have heaps of weapons stacked up in thier cities all over the country. We also little in the way of an Air Force, all the officers stayed loyal after the Foundation. The good thing out of this gloom and doom is that we an a highly spirted army under capable commanders and a loyal to the death populus behind us. Well that about does it for the overview, anything to add Stefan?" Stefan nodded and took his place back


"I have been instructed by Comrade Bruasagnic to inform you that we are willing to pay a large sum of money for your support and and some weaponary for our soliders" Stefan nodded at his statement and waited for Alucard's reaction.

In the dead of night, the four companies of USN soldiers, having lay low recently, are above to make there presents felt. Along with 250 Tagio SSR fighters, they lie in wait around a road awaiting the Royalist pigs latest convoy outside a small abondoned village. The false telegram sent that evening should have a small force coming anytime now to attack "the communist rebel village".

(Note: I don't really think anyone would send, like, a division to destory a small village of commies. Play fair please. =)

The forces of the SovietRepublicofRussia arrive off the shore of TagioSSR ready to offload their forces quietly on the shore line to establish a base camp and await new from the communist government.

It is good to see our communist comrades aiding antoher country to the true government system!

Royalist Commander Davis Bucahan stood his jeep looking over the village. He turned to his men and smiled "Alright boyos they seem defenceless! Go foward and destroy the village, leave none alive! God Save the King!"

The ethusiastic troops cheered and charged straight toward the village "Die Commie Dogs!!!" they yelled throwing fire bombs into the town. Then the troopers took up position wating for the Commies to come out of the village and into the waiting trap.

A shot rang out from the village. An overeager Royalist, perhaps. It still unnevered Private Ivan. Like all USN soldiers, he was trained in silent warfare, to make up for the lack of numbers. All along the line, other USN troops move silently towards the lines of enemy troops from behind. A command car caught Ivan's eye. He motioned to it for the rest of his squad, and the 12 men moved towards the vehicle. They were not the only ones, either. Several other squads also moved towards them, he could hear the officers radio chatter on his earpiece, which he quickly shut off. The squads advanced brought them close to the command car, close enough, in fact, to hear a gruff voice from inside the vehicle.

OCC: I'm aware. I'm not saying my guys are invisible, I'm saying they are hard to catch. It's easier to hide 400 guys than a couple of divisions. The USN troops are trained for stealth and "living off the land", they are not front line full scale battle troops.

The Golencian Navy sent in 2 F-35 JSFs as Recon Planes to take a series of photos over Tagio.

Meanwhile the Landing Craft his the shore and 50,000 Marines poured off of the crafts and onto the shore where they were to move in on USN Forces. Almost syncronized the 1 Million Soldiers that left Golencia were seen off of the USN Coast. No one other than the Emperor knew their true purpose.

OOC: Well, Tagio hasn't posted for a while, so lets assume that the attacking force takes a beating and the remains are captured. They were ambushed, at night, by stealth troops, and their leader has been captured as well. Sorry, but I don't have a choice here. USN casuaties were 23 dead, mostly resistance fighters would alerted the enemy due to their lack of stealth skillz compared to my troops. We took 154 enemy prisoners.

15 F-35 JSFs were slowly launched and Air borne they immeditely began firing on the Ships that were leaving. If all went as planned nothing would be left, and Golencians would go home.
