*SECRET IC*
<MAFCC War Office>
The decision was made. After hours of endless bickering and fighting amongst the leaders of the four armed forces came to an agreement. The recent terrorist attacks on Exmouth, and the subsequent crippling of the 1st CBG, assigned to the Home Fleet, had shaken MAFCCP to its very roots. It was time for change, and change they would make. The new King was more than happy to fund it, he was an avid fan of his military toys.
They had decided on one of the most radical plans ever drawn up in the history of the McLeodian Armed Forces. It took everything back to square one, starting with a major reshuffle of the forces organisation, and a severe trimming of useless adminstrative staff. Then contracts for trillions of pounds were awarded to McLeodian Military Industries and McLeodian Aeronautical Engineering for the refitting of the Army, Air Force, parts of Border Patrol, and the newly formed SOCOM, now a completely seperate entity from the Army. The forces were to nearly triple in size over the coming years, granting McLeod03 its rightful place amongst the superpowers. A new day was dawning, and the sun was shining on these few men, sat around a table, spending trillions of pounds at the drop of a hat.
OOC: Yep, I've started my annual Spring Clean of my armed forces. Will post details below. All questions/threats/OOC criticisms are welcome.
Total Combat Personnel (Excluding SOCOM)= 7,105,090

Their trademark weapon is a black metal combat knife, heavily triangulated along the blade, meaning the wounds it causes are deep, and difficult to treat. The 22nd Regiment is the smallest combat unit in the Royal Army, consisting of no more than 150 men, divided into 5 companies, Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, and Echo. Each company consists of five squads of six commandos, with each squad named by its members.
