Chellis

We cannot spare any more forces to torres. We are building up in africa, due to an impending crisis in multiple areas. Chellis cannot have any men taken out. Do with what you have. Nobody has ever tried to attack Torres anyways, so there isnt much to worry about.
Colonel Ariete read this printed out email as he manned the coaxial machinegun on his Leclerc tank. He laughed a bit, as the current situation seemed to pop-up just after it had been sent, about a week ago. And yet, when he had just recently called for more men again, he was denied. Did they not see this as a problem?
The town of Ekima stood in the distance. He set down the letter, and took out binoculars, glaring at the large urban city in the distance. He could make out the stadiums and the airport, as well as some other large features. What he could not visualize was the fighting going on in the city. The Free Communist Army, a group of lower-class idealists whom had escaped the ever-watchful eye of the police, had promised to avenge the deaths of their comrades, of which over eight million were killed in the last 200 years of the second chellian government.
Funded by anonymous trusts and thefts, they armed and trained in the deserts of Torres. Torres, the "lost continent" as the founders called it, was an australian-sized landmass that lay 13,000 miles south of chellis. It was often ignored by officials, as they were mostly self-sufficient, just being under chellian rule. However, this ignorance helped breed insurgents, who enjoyed liberal chellian gun laws without harsh police watch.
Millions of lives a year were saved with civilian guns in chellis. This would be the first time that quite possibly millions would die at the hands of civilian firearms. Anyone who didn't wear an FCA badge was fair game to be shot by the communists. Chellis, who usually employed total warfare methods, could not damage so many of its own innocents.
The cities reserve vaults had been broken into. These were vaults that kept equipment for the chellian reserve forces, which scaled from RPG's to MBT's. Chellian reserve forces kept their guns at home, with the exception of anything as strong as, or stronger than an RPG. The FCA had made organized attacks on these vaults, and began to steal the equipment.
The chellian 301st armoured division arrived within 800 meters of the cities outer limits. 300 Leclerc tanks, supported by IFV's, artillery, and helicopters awaited a strike on the city. Chellis dropped leaflets into the city, telling anyone not in the insurgency to stay in their homes. Anyone on the streets with a gun would be killed. Anyone firing upon the chellians would be killed. Any police still alive were to put on army uniforms and assist in taking out enemy positions and weapons caches.
As sad as this was, Ariete was confident. They would drive into the city, their show of force would scare the insurgents into running away in fear. Some chellians would die, but the presence would stop the insurgency. He smiled, and turned his head to look at chellian Tiger helicopters and Mi-26's heading into the city. He looked back, and saw the Milan rocket headed right for his tank.
OOC: Im looking for someone who might want to play as the insurgents. Im also open to an invading force to help liberate the Torrens, though keep in mind that its a fairly isolated landmass, making an invasion hard to mount.
