These weapons are being purchased as part of an effort to ascertain whether NATO or Warsaw Pact technology preforms better. The Warsaw units will be compared with their equivilants (ex: Typhoon with our Ohios and Vanguards, or Ul'yanovsk with our Nimitz, Invincible, and Enterprise classes) to determine which technology better fits our needs. We also request production rights to the above units, not for sale, but for internal use assesing the capabilities of these units should we encounter them on the battlefield, or for internal production should we decide to make the switch. 1) returned to store (hopefully for a partial refund)
2) destroyed
