Viewers of the hit Music Chart Programme Saturday Night Jukebox were privy to a Roycelandian TV first last night, as His Imperial Majesty Emperor Royce I, Foreign Minister Jeff Lebowski, and Governor-General Philip J. Fry made a special guest appearance on the show, dancing to the extended version of the Patrick Hernandez disco hit, "Born To Be Alive".

The appearance was a huge hit with the crowd, and has gone further to boost His Majesty's popularity within the Empire, along with that of Governor-General Philip J. Fry.

His Majesty even performed a 2 minute long Disco Dancing Solo in the middle of the song, wearing a white Safari Suit, Pith Helmet, and trademark Imperial Loud Shirt, with Fry and Lebwoski being similarly dressed.

"It all goes to show that the Emperor is a pretty funky kinda guy" explained a Roycelandian Broadcasting Corporation Spokesman. "We're really glad that the Emperor, the Foreign Minister, and Roycelandian East Africa's Governor-General coudl take time out of their busy schedules to appear on our show."

Speculation is rife as to what other things the Emperor will get up to as part of his "Getting In Touch With The Citizens" programme, whilst cynical people in the Empire are complaining it's a blatant attempt to distract people from the fact the Roycelandian Government is making all sorts of "Back-room Deals" with France vis a vis the situation in Al-Ahzad...

Tooley, West Codia -- Web hosts in West Codia have been overwhelmed by the latest internet phenomenon.

What began as a whimsical skit on the popular "Saturday Night Jukebox" has evolved into a sweeping sensation on the internet. In what was reportedly the latest facet of Emperor Royce I's "Getting In Touch With The Citizens" initiative, the Emperor cut a rug on international television with other Roycelandian national figures.

In a flurry of hysterical creativity, parodies are popping up all over the internet. Some of the short videos are as simple as imposing different tracks for him to dance to (Yakkity Sax, the Benny Hill Theme), and as involved as superimposing the disco-dancing head of state over everything from "Dirty Dancing" to "Schindler's List". There is even a short clip featuring him battling the infamous "Star Wars Kid" with lightsabers.

Not everyone is as amused as these college students are, however. Internet companies worked to bring hardware back online in a hurry after the peak prime-time overwhelmed it, but business was closed for many online retailers. Though service has been restored, there's no telling when the next parody will strike back.

His Majesty is reportedly "Amused" by the parodies, especially the one with the Star Wars Lightsabre kid.

"It all goes to show exactly how much spare time some people have" he said this morning. "Now, if you'll excuse me, "Where's My Thribble?" is on..."
