Unfortunately we would not be able to attend such a meeting immediately, as our last Prime Minister was tragically assassinated on Sunday evening. State funeral procedures must go on as planned, however, afterwards we will be able to sign the accord. Also, I may be able to speak for Sarzonia in the fact that they are heavily involved in a present war with Roach-Busters which is winding down but still may take a few days to complete. As well, Canada is currently in a diplomatic word-exchange with the same nation over its desire to invade Decisive Action through Canadian territory. We really all do want to protect you from outside aggressors, but right now we must finish other things before we do so. Thank you for accepting our offer.

The official position, Secretary Harding, of the Commonwealth concurs with your assesment. One main factor for this agreement is simple geography - our nation is located in the Pacific and to provide any immediate support would require a great deal of logistical support. That combined with our recent territorial expansion, we incapable of sending any forces to the Atlantic area for long-term deployments. Prime Minister Tetley was merely stating the Commonwealth's desire to not let such promising nations fall victim to the imperial ambitions of its neighbors; and as a matter of course part of his support to the Constitutional Monarchy of Medovicia grants their government the right to call upon any Commonwealth forces should any potential enemy force be too great for your surely massive combined forces. As such, the Commonwealth recognizes the role to be played by your nation and those others that have signed agreements with Medovicia and we will not attempt to interfere unless directly asked by the government of Medovicia. That is all Prime Minister Tetley wished to express, he apologizes for any ambiguity on his part.
