Earlier today, Tundric Armaments and Department of National Defence officials revealed that a new rifle, designated the TER-1 (Tundric Export Rifle) would be released solely for international export.

The rifle is based upon the AK-47 and comes standard with an A-79 3.4x Sight, based on the Canadian C79 Elcan. The weapon is basically a bullpup AK with improved accuracy, and is available in a variety of calibers, though the Soviet 7.62x39mm round is standard.

Caliber 7.62x39 mm, 5.56mm NATO, 6.65 Laurier, 6.8mm Remmington, 5.45x39mm
Action: Gas operated, rotating bolt with 2 lugs
Overall length: 750 mm
Barrel length: 440 mm
Weight, with empty magazine: 3.7 kg
Magazine capacity 30 rounds
Cyclic rate of fire 600 rounds per minute
Maximum effective range: about 350 meters
Cost: $450

The weapon is an excellent choice for less wealthy nations, or those who prefer AK style weaponry. It is powerful, accurate, and compact, making it well suited for a variety of roles such as urban warfare, mechanized infantry weapon, airborne weapon, or special forces.

Bayonets come with the weapon, although tactical lights, lasers, sights other than the A-79, and grenade launchers must be purchased seperately.

We are looking to upgrade our arsenal which, due to mismanagement of our armed forces consists of a variety of marques ( and calibres ) all in a state of disrepair.

It has been estimated that up to 50% of our small arms are at present in hock, having been traded by the grunts to supplement their income.

Subject to testing we would initially be looking to place an order for 3500 units, but would need the following modifications/customisations to the weapon.

Each to have a ( supplied ) brass plaque inlaid into the stock
400 to be supplied with underslung shortbarrelled 12 Guage shotgun
350 to be supplied with underslung grenade launcher
50 to be supplied with underslung beanbag/baton round weapon
100 bipod mounts/long bore to allow for support/suppressive role
90 to be supplied chrome plated for ceremonial duties
10 to be supplied gold plated for honor guard

Initial training in use/maintenance would be nice

We are not a rich nation, but I am sure we could come to some arrangement regarding payment - do you take PX/food stamps?
