The presidents office was already in chaos. A massive colonization program, now this? It was no secret that the presidents cabinet doubted his sanity. But, they didn't care. It was almost election time anyways. Any member of a Fortune 500 company board could run for President. It wasn't like the cabinet didn't have their eyes on the job. All they had to do was wait for Stattons crazy adress to the nation.
Brendon stepped up to the podium in his Red Sea Estate. His short adress would determine what the next era of Ramissle would be like. Statton began to speak.
"My fellow Ramisslians, it is a dark age for us. We have been in many wars, and we have been unsuccessful. It is time to forget the past, and move on. Therefor, I forgive the members of the RWC for the actions of their evil brothers. The embargo placed upon them shall be lifted. We wish for a peaceful future with them."
Brendon stepped down, refusing to answer any questions.
