"Silence. My word is still law, and you will respect it. The point is moot anyways. We are sending troops as we speak." Antiochus decreed, but his mind was shaking. He had recieved proof that the city-state of Thessaly was planning an attack. Thessaly, a Greek city, not Perisan. Maybe Phillip was right, and my time has come and gone as King, he thought.

2,000 Macedonians crossed the border of Macedonia, heading for Thessaly. With most of the troops stationed along the Persian border, it had taken far longer than the King wanted to move a bulk force to Thessaly, and many Royal units had to be sent. The 1,400 men in phalanxes were accompanied by 300 Calvary, including Royal Guards commanded by the King's second son, Amyntus, and 300 archers that were guarding the capital. They would stop in Thessalyian territory only to worship at Mt. Olympus, but their goals lied further south. Heartened by patriotism, the pushed south, towards Thessaly

The army was waiting.....streched across the land were 500 infantry,500 archers,2000 calvary.With King Achilles at the middle with his 500 troops.

"Good. Keep marching south but maintain orders that they are not to engage until told to.
"Of course, sire."

Northern Thessaly:
"Orders are to keep marching south but not to engage." The runner said.
"Well that's ridiculous." Prince Amyntus said."I will not march into the middle of Thessaly to be surronded. Set up a defensive perimeter around Ossa Mountain, and rain arrows down on anything that moves." He decreed.

"We must advance sir,If we dont the enemy will advance by the capitol!"Said the scribe.

"Tell the men to split up and make 2 armies.Then march into northern Thessaly" Said King Achilesl

"My army msut aid Thessaly"said King Thunity.

The fleet will go to the Thracian boarders in which there homelands will be attacked and the land troops (calvary, calvary archers, archers, infantry, and pikemen.) will meet the Thracian troops in Macedonia!

The combined fleets of Macedonia and Thrace launch off, carrying the 10,000 thracian troops King Vineyard had pledged to Macedoina, and head toward the tip of southern Thessaly, a suprise attack.
"All goes well on the ocean front?" King Antiochus asked.
"Yes sire. And your son holds strong on a mount."
"Well done. Now sound the march for the Royal Army."
"Will you be accompaning them, sire?" The aide asked.
"Of course. Prince Phillip will rermain here. We will march at dusk." Antiochus said, leaving to inspect the 12,000 men that made up pretty much all of the remaining forces, only the elite left behind to protect Pella. It was a risk, but a risk that would pay off when Mount Olympus resided in Macedoinian territory.

OOC: Rebeled Elves- There's no way you could really know of thrace's help. It is only between them and Macedonia so far, so it can't really be possible yet.

The army lead by Erasmus Echemi of Sparta was near the Ismasus when an idea struck him.

"Send this to the Macedonian King!", he ordered.

It read:

"This is Erasmus Echemi of Sparta. We are requesting information on where we should deploy when we arrive in two days."

ooc:i don't mind him knowing. i got another 10,000 troops to come up there and woop his ass :D

IC: thrace's navy is weak. Although our saiors are very experienced, it is difficult to rebuild ships from the constant fighting our sailors are in. I say we marshal our navies and sail to delos, and crush Rebeled Elve's fleet.

The hardy Thracians marched on Theassaly, seeking the enemy army. The army will not stop marching until they reach the city walls, then they will build ladders and storm it.

King Karakinos, viewing the invasion of this state in question orders a fleet of 5 triremes and 200 warriors to the capital of Thessaly to assure that no other state will invade and to keep peace in this city.

OOC:Don't worry Thrace the surrender isn't valid

To Thessaly: We will not harm you our your people, but Thessaly will be ours. We make the conditions for surrender. You will leave the city, and the Nation of Thessaly. Relocate to your ally in Delos or another city state, and you have our word that we will not come after you. These are the terms.

OOC: Claim another city-state after you surrender. There are lots of them still open. Or just be Delos, as it seems you already are, or at least have a very good relationship . . .

IC: To Thrace:
We support your right to claims within Thessaly. We do urge you to wait a while for a possible complete Thessalonion surrender, but if they fail too, we are completely behind you sacking the city. If they do surrender, we hope to meet in Larissa for a conference of the partition of spoils.
