Having flown to Jackson City from Alexandria in Mississippian Egypt, Senator Simon Rutledge immediately went on the attack. He got on the White Peoples Radio and Television Network and started firing away.

At 6:30 pm, as most men were sitting down for their evening brandy or cigar, and most women were cleaning the dishes from dinner, with most children out tending to the last of the chores to be done around the house/farm, Rutledge's voice came over the radio and he appeared on TV.

He was sitting at the speaker's desk in the Federal Commonwealth Senate building, he had some papers laying on the desk in front of him as he started to speak, "Gentlemen of the Commonwealth senates, it is with a heavy-heart that I must inform you of what I have recently become aware of. The Senates of our Commonwealth nations are being infiltrated by communists, this is going on right now, as we speak. Our entertainment industry is being infiltrated by communists, as we speak right now, our youth are being corrupted by ideals of foreign Marxism. Perhaps most disturbing is the communist infiltration into some of our upper level governor-generalships. I am going to read the names of the most prominent suspected communists in the nation..."

He paused for a few seconds, he knew the list of names he had was going to shock everybody in the Mississippian Federation, granted not all of them were communists since some were just personal vendettas or people the DISFB asked he finger as communists. He slowly started to read,

"First, Richard Stahlecker, Charles Stahlecker, Tatiana Stahlecker, also known under her maiden name, Tatiana Kempenski, she is the wife of Charles Stahlecker."

He sighed, he knew he was going to get a lot of criticism for the next name, but he read it anyway, "Henry Fabus, his wife Zeltzin Fabus, also known under her maiden name Zeltzin Castillo, both have been to numerous communist nations and are believed to be within the communist sphere of influence."

He read another name, "Franz Von Schacht, he is believed to have engaged in promiscuous activities with a female communist official from Sevaris."

Rutledge read off about eighty-three more names before he had read all from the paper.

Rutledge set the papers down and looked up at the camera, "Mississippians; don't dismiss these charges against some of those who you consider as loyal regime supports as wrong or mistakes. These charges are serious, this nation, this federation, our commonwealth, we are all under a severe and dire threat from communist subversion. We need to rise to the occasion to oppose communist interests that have gained sweeping control of many local and Commonwealth governments. As you hear my voice, no less than eight Commonwealth governments are under total communist control by either communist sympathizers or by card-carrying members of the outlawed communist parties or foreign communist parties. This is no joke, we are at war, at war with communism."


He shook his head, pointing his finger at the camera, "You too must do your part, do not hesitate to turn in your neighbor if you suspect he is a communist, do not hesitate to turn in your co-worker, your friend, your boss, your employees. Fathers, watch your sons, husbands watch your wives, if there are hints of communist sympathies in your household, call your local DIS unit immediately. It is your duty to the nation to help in this fight against communism. Help reclaim Mississippi from the iron grip of communist subversion."

We didn't release the original, we just release translations to make it go quicker for the program. If anybody wanted an original, they'd have to apply for a permit to import original news articles into the nation, and then get a permit specifying nations they want to get news from. We've approved about 8 out 500,000 requests in the last 2 decades. (Mostly nobles who collect papers)

The recent capture of the nation of Kalinengrad has granted the Kelgradian Militay enough funds to wage war anywhere in the world. The United Socialist States of Kelgrad pledge military support and refuge for any Communist peoples who wish it.

All around Mississippian, women have begun forming "Destroy Momanguise" clubs and local WKM units have begun spontaneous anti-Momanguise rallies. Burning Momanguise flags have become a common sights. The Womens Auxiliary of the White Knights of Mississippi have rallied behind their motto, "Death before dishonor".


In the words of Eleanor Fabus, the Grand Dragon of the Women's Auxiliary of the Mississippian Realm, "We women here in the Federation would sooner die than submit to any forms of miscegenation. I watch the developing situation in Mississippi, and the reaction of Momanguise, with concern. I have no great love for Marx, though I think the Fabus regime has acted rather rashly in its overenthusiastic reaction to Mr. Henslowe's remarks. I sincerely hope both sides will be able to come to a reasonable solution to this...embarassment.

"I'm a socialist and my wife is a communist, we're not ashamed of what we believe in. I'm a member of the outlawed, "National White Peoples Socialist Party".
