* The Terrianvorn Military Chief watched the radar screens before him. He had been monitoring the tensions between the Armed Republic of Windolene and themselves for sometime now. Now things were starting to get a little hot though. Windolene had threatened war with the Terrianvorns, and they had already put their military on high alert.

The Military Chief didn't like what he was seeing. Such a unstable nation going hostile could lead to WMD being used, and that was something that the Terrianvorns would not allow to happen. All over the nation missle silos went active, they were preparing for a pre-emptive strike if needed. Their airforce officers were all called to duty, and on stand-by, jets were even now prepped and ready for quick air strikes to military targets and powerstations.

The Military Chief turned and activated a broadcast*

"People of the Armed Republic of Windolene, please stand down or I will be forced to launch pre-emptive strikes against your nation, and a possible deployment of troops to detain your government until all hostile actions have stopped. We do not wish a war with your nation, but we will attack if we feel there is a threat of any sort to our nation, or to this region. Please respond within 48 hours, or we will procede in our strikes.

*the Military Chief turns off the broadcast, then tells his techs to broadcast the warning on all known radiowaves that Windolene is known to use. He also dispatched a copy of it to the regional government.*

"Due to the amount activity in Terrianvorns over the last week, Windolene has become worried about the true intensions of Terrianvorns. Which is why i raised the readyness of my military, i am not planning on going to war but will if Terrianvorns don't sand down there "over protecting defences". As it is we have caught one of there spys trying to gain access to one of our top military facilities, as a messure of good faith we will return him to the Terrianvorns. The Terrianvorns 48hrs to respond."

The president of Windolene turns of Broadcast.

The Secretary of Defence stood by the Secretary of Foreign Relations' desk. He was apoplectic with rage. "I thought you said that the Terrianvorns were our allies. Not very allied of them to be declaring war with one of our nations."

The Secretary of Foreign Relations said, "They are...I'm formulating an request for their foreign relations advisors as well as representatives from Windolene to assemble in my office. This is not going to be a diplomatic request, they have ORDERS to be in my office within 24 hours. I believe you should be present. We are not going to fall to civil war. As it stands, we have two weeks before we are able to produce weapons that will protect us, and domestic tranquility is our objective. We made an alliance to protect ourselves, not to start trouble within. They will settle it, and they will settle it IN my office."

The president of Windolene phones Secretary of Foreign Relations office and says:

"The representative of Windolene is on the way to Secretary of Foreign Relations office. But we believe we are wasting our time in doing this, i am not the only nation not happy with Terrianvorns The Rogue Nation of P-40Aces, a close friend of Windolene has also have threats. I will send a representative anyway."

The president of Windolene awaits a responce from the Secretary of Foreign Relations.

To the Windolene Representative.

We will see exactly what is on the table...then we will proceed. I will EJECT the Terrianvorns if necessary if subversive take over is their objective, and CLOSE their embassy.

Please make certain that I have "access" to the War-Room and I will let you in on a secret that I have up my sleeve.

*the military chief looked at the responces they had recieved. He frowned, and motioned one of his aids over. He gave them orders on what to do in the next 48 hours, they read over their orders and nodded, then went to thier communications center, and sent out the encoded messages.

The military chief turned on another broadcast.*

"The Terrianvorns are here to secure protection to this region. We have not made any threats to this region, nor will we stand down our military as long as a single military stands against us in this region. We wish only to secure our own airspace and our own naval command.

All other actions we take are for the defense of the region. Our SAM sites are set to destroy any missle attack from outside this region. Our naval command is set to stop any invasion forces or airforces from attacking this region.

We came here to bring a shield to this region, instead we get threatened, we came to help, and now we are scorned. We were with the understanding that you were a region that worked together, though now it seems you are a region that helps each other as long as you can get something out of it.

Windolene, your "captured spy" is not one of ours. If we were to spy on you, we wouldn't get caught. We are here as a friendly neighbor, if we wished information on your military, we would ask. The only thing you could consider spying would be our Sat. mapping of your nation, for the location of any military operations and missle silos.

*he changed the broadcast over to Rottweilan's military range*

The President of Terrianvorns is enroute for your requested meeting, he comes alone, to show that we are not at war with this region, nor do we hold hostile contempt for it. We merely wish to defend ourselves and others from the unstable riff raft of the Windolene nation.

President of Windolene turns on Broadcast to Terrianvorns:

"You say that is not your spy i say otherwise, amazing how you raise your military to full readyness and we capture a spy. To your denile of the spy will had him over to the Secretary of Foreign Relations for questioning. I will leave this for the Secretary of Foreign Relations to judge."

President of windolene turns off broadcast.

Understandable...We aim to resolve this diplomatically before tensions get out of hand. However we have been developing our own defences...as our own taxation sees fit. The interest and principal of the $1,000,000,000 military assistance grant has remained untouched in a federal repository.

Our military is small, yet, we have some brilliant minds in the technological industry and they are strengthening our military as we speak.

OOC: We're trying to stick within the realm of reality. No super-soldiers, no flying spacecraft, sticking with what's available on good old Earth.

*the military cheif informs the terrianvorn military to go to prep stage alpha. All over the nation silos open, and missles are moved into a ready position. Piolets run to their jets, and run through the preflight, and their crews load them with their payloads. Ground troops run to their vehicles as well, tanks and humvees are run through checklists and are prepped and armed. The AirCraft carriers activate full anti-air defenses and ready their full complement of attack aircraft and helicopters.*

"This Empire is engaged to stop any attacks to its people. If the nation of Windolene will not stand down, then our pre-emptive strike will move forward. We will target all military and power structures, and we will engage any and all aircraft that try to engage our jets. Any forces that try to attack us on the ground or in the waters will be met with our military force of 9.6 million."

The Captian of HMS Hawk a lone destroyer 10miles south of the boarder of Terrianvorns.

" Admiral we have sight of at least 2 Aircraft carriers with 6 Destroyers, sonar also has two subs. They are crossing our boarder Admiral do we have promission to fire."

The first sea lord.

" NO you do not have promission to fire."

The Captain.

"Yes sir!"

The first sea lord.

"Captain your orders are to pull back, DO NOT ENGAGE."

The president contacts Terrianvorns.

" We do not want to fight you please stand down"

The president of Windolene awaits a reply.

* the Terrianvorns send out a message*

We have no naval military beyond our 3 mile mark. Believe me when we say, when we open fire you will be aware of it, and it won't be far from home. Stand down your military, or the air strikes will procede. We out class you in our military, and we have no desire to invade a nation so weak as yours. We are defensive, though we will go offensive to any threat brought against us.

Windolene sends out a message

"By order of Kunkelstania i am standing down all of my military forces affective of 2300hrs UK time."

*the military chief watched as the Windolene military stood down and sent out his commands to the military. The airforce returned to their hangers, and the naval command went down to standard alert. He looked over at the status screen for the missles and frowned, they hadn't responded yet. He walked over and picked up the comm*

"I have order the military to stand down, why haven't the missle silos responded?" the cheif said

"We don't feel your order is in the best interests, and so we are launching," was the responce from the comm.

*alerts went up, as all across the nation the missles launched, he ran to the radar screen, watching as 300 missles tracked across the sky, his military was in the process of standing down, and would't be able to activate in time to stop the missles. He sent the order anyway, and fighter piolets scrambled for their jets, much too slow.

The chief ran over to the comms and sent an emergency message to the nation of Windolene*

"This is the Military Chief of Terrinvaorns, we have a coup in process and are afraid to inform you that 300 missles have been launched against your nation. I have scrambled our jets to try to intercept these missles, but I don't think they can reach them in time. Our SAM sites are down, they were part of our missle defense parameter that has rebelled against us. Repeat, there are 300 inbound missles aimed at military, government, and power structures all over your nation, we CAN NOT SHOOT THEM ALL DOWN"

*the chief fell back into his seat, watching the screens, hoping something could be done in time.*

The president of windolene recieved a message for the Terrianvorns and from recieveing the message scrambled all fighters to help intercept the missile as well as same sites.

Both goverments sit back watching and hoping :eek: .

*30 av-28s take off from the sea, the push full after burners and attain a speed of Mach 2.6. They are to engage and destroy all missles aimed at the Windolene capitol. They will intercept the 100 missles aimed at the capitol only moments before they are to detonate.

As they take off, 75 missles reach their targets. They are aimed at border military and power structures. The payload each missle carries is enough to level 4 city blocks and send fragments up to 1 mile radius of the blast.

Another 75 missles are aimed at government buildings and power structures through out the nation, hitting only minutes after the first targets are destroyed.

Another 50 missles are aimed at navel targets, aiming for aircraft carriers and destroyers. They are to hit about the same time as the mid-nation missles.*

*meanwhile in the missle silos, new missles are being readied. The coup's next targets are the Terrianvorns own government buildings. They were racing the clock now, they new that special forces would soon be engageing the military in the silos. There were already reports of the black helicopters being sighted on the horizon. The coup leader watched the screens, a frown showing. The SAM sites had refused to lock on the helicopters, must have been some sort of fail-safe programmed in, to prevent such an event. If such failsafes were in place, then he would have to prepare his troops for armed combat.

He quickly order the launch of the dirty bombs towards the government buildings, and ordered his troops to take up defensive positions. Just as the dirty missles lauched, a total of 35 missles, the blast doors blew open and commando shocktroops entered. They were refined killing machines, trained by the Slinao government from birth. They showed no fear and no emotion as they engaged the rebels, quickly putting down all resistance.*

The lead trooper radioed in an all clear, and checked the stats on the missles, radioing in the targets and ordering all aircraft to engage.

"luckly 30 F-15c's and F-16C's manage to get off the ground before the first wave of missiles hit. The mid nation Airfields all Aircraft have scrambled and heading to the missiles."

Off the coast of Terrianvorns 3 Ohio class subs saw the launch did'nt no of the coo and procided to launch all 75 Trident 2 D5 missiles at goverment building military targets.

Mean while Windolene Fighters have eyes on targets and prepair to fire.

*the terrianvorns took losses fast, all 75 missles made it past the defenses that were engageing the dirty bombs. 10 of the nations 15 military bases were unusable. The death rate was high. Many of the Naval forces in the waters opened fire on the Ohio class subs, raining down massive missle and cannon rounds.

15 more AV-28s engaged the dirty bombs, taking all all but 2 of them before detonation. The two that hit destroyed the capitol, radioactive fallout would be low, but the capitol would be hot for awhile. Luckily the President was absent from the capitol at the time.

A broadcast went out from the Military Cheif from his secured bunker*

"we have been hit by nuclear dirty bombs, the coup has been put down, though losses are high. Due to a naval encounter, more deaths may soon be at hand. I ask all militaries to stand down any possible attacks to our nation. We will pay for any damages that we have caused, though it may take us time to restore a working government." the screen went to static as a blast goes off in the background.

*the special forces do a quick clean up of the area, all coup members have been executed, and the leader has been taken into custody, information will be extracted, and then he will face execution as a traitor as well.

The President of the Terrianvorns has announced that he will send $5,000,000,000 to the nation of Windolene, as well as $5,000,000,000 to the regional government.

He has also asked that his nation is allowed to once again watch the skys for outside attacks, and has put new security orders into effect to safeguard the missle silos from future coups.*

Our military have stand down. Only 2 missiles made it from the 2nd wave which 1 hit our major naval base with heavy loses and the other malfuctioned and landed in the desert.

Windolene refuses the money due to this being mostly there fault, and asks that Terrianvorns will continue to safe guard us.

We will send a clean up crew to help with your country, we ask that you do the same.
