OOC: This research begun with the nation of Endenia, since it has 'disappeared', i am continuing its research, I am not a newbie deciding to declare i have 3000 warheads and i will provide details concerning its development. So only SERIOUS comments and tags allowed, I don't want people coming to scream, "But your a n00bie nation and cannot blah blah blah" Thank You! I assure you, other nations are backing up my claims.

Special Announcement From The White Tower.

Our special Nuclear Recovery Teams have managed to recover Maelstrom Atomic Research Facility principal Computer Core and has managed to access into the uncompleted research concerning the Non-Nuclear Bomb(n2). With the backing of generous and interested benefactors, The White Tower has assigned the Brown Ajah to begin research, development and deployment of the weapon. All research has been moved to a top-secret weapon's research and development facility known as Mirage.

Previously Maelstrom believed that a n2 bomb could be developed via an off-short of uranium, however Mirage has proven otherwise. The Brown Ajah has decided to look at this from a new pespective, The White Tower has recently been able to prove the existence of Anti-Matter and Mirage believes that the n2 bomb can be developed using matter and anti-matter. A blast of pure energy that can destroy everything and leave no trace residue is the perfect non-nuclear weapon(n2)

The primary fuel for this bomb will be Hydrogen. Its anti-conterpart is Anti-Hydrogen. Seeing as Hydrogen and Anti-Hydrogen are the easiest elements to create and also the fact that it is explosive, it will be the primary element in the bomb. The creation of Anti-Hydrogen will come from first creating anti-protons and merging them to become an Anti-Hydrogen. This process is enabled through the deployment of a Penning Trap and A Low Energy Anti-Proton Generation Ring. The anti-protons are generated inside the Ring and then slowed down via extreme cooling and then trapped and gathered inside a Penning Trap, to ensure that it does not come in contact with any matter, all anti-matter will be suspended in vaccum inside a powerful electro-magnetic Field.

Once sufficiant anti-hydrogen is gathered, it will be transferred to into the bomb, the bomb will be the size of a casket and inside will house a powerful internal battery and also an electromagnetic generator. The Anti-Matter will be placed inside the electro-magnetic field and suspended there among the hydrogen elements, suspensed before reaction can occur.

The Battery will be able to keep up the field for approximately 3 hours before burning out, to maintain the field in a long distance mission, a bigger power source will be needed to maintain the field before a premature reaction can occur. Once the bomb is deployed, upon impact, the field will shut down and the reaction will occur, releasing a blast of pure energy that will completely destroy anything.

The test bomb will contain approximately 1.5kg of Hydrogen and 1.5kg of Anti-Hydrogen and will be about the same as a 14 kiloton Nuclear Warhead, its blast radius is as of yet, unknown but it is confirmed that there will be no fall-out from the blast.

This weapon is not for sale and will strictly remain in the hands of New Endenia and her generous benefactors.

Research and Development facility, Mirage.

Marshall DeLane carefully looked over the device, placing her hand as it appeared warm to the touch. "So Dr Sedai, do you think it will finally work?"
Dr Sedai sipped her coffee and nodded. "For the sake of this country and the research itself, it will have too." DeLane made a pass around the bomb, no larger then a casket as she nodded approvingly, more to herself then the dozen or so Endenian and Dumpsterdanian scientists and military personal.
"Dr Sedai, prepare the prototype for deployment and make sure it reaches the runway intact, we will launch in exactly one hour."
She turned and walked away towards the command centre, leaving Sedai and her scientists to finish up the final preparations before the deployment.

One of the Dumpsterdanian researchers approached Dr Sedai. "Dr Sedai. Just one hour? That will leave very little time for the actual launch, if anything goes wrong we will repeat the tragedy at..."

Sedai interrupted him. "No Holls, we will not repeat that, as long as I live that will not happen. Now get to work and prepare the prototype."

"Yes ma'am, right away." Holls was surprised at Sedai's reaction, but he couldn’t think about that right now, he had work to do.

Haven military airport.

The JackRabbit ground attack plane stood ready at the start of the primary runway with dozens of cables and wires running between the plane and the scores of trucks positioned in a semi circle around it. Mechanics and scientists scurried up and down the length of the cables, checking every centimetre to make sure no leaks where present. On the edge of the airfield, overlooking the ground attack plane and its ground crews was the temporary HQ of the 1st Mechanised infantry division 8th brigade who's job it was to provide overall security for the entire project.
Today that included shooting anyone nearing the airfield and they worked together closely with the four wings of interceptors who kept constant vigil over the airspace of New Endenia.

Meanwhile in the command centre lead scientists and key military personal had gathered around the massive viewing screens that gave a clear picture of both the bomb, the plane and the target zone; a deserted city in the centre of old Endenia. The timer above the screens duly counted down, two minutes to go before launch and another eleven before detonation.

As the timer slowly approached zero the ground crew retreated back to the safety of the trucks and the JR slowly rolled forward, giving full throttle as soon as it had cleared the staging area and a few seconds later the plane pushed itself off the tarmac. Radio control was quickly established. "Neo 4 to ground control, I am currently airborne and heading towards the target zone, ETA is around 8 minutes."

"Roger that Neo 4, we have you on radar and are tracking you towards the deployment zone." The reply came quickly as everyone from battle hardened Marshal to young and naive scientist bit their fingernails and prayed to the gods that nothing went wrong this time.

As the plane approached the first marker it climbed to around 1000 meters and the pilot marked off the electronic checklist, concluding that the bomb was still working and he had still two minutes to spare. "Neo 4, ceasing radio contact." The pilot had to concentrate now on the job at hand, no more annoying radio chatter was needed. "Cradle released, safety's off, internal power working and electromagnetic field intact." He talked himself through the procedure as he approached the dead centre of the city and tightened his grip on the stick, toggling the red cap on his launch button he pressed down hard and immediately started to climb to 9000 meters to avoid the blast. He had done his job, now the tech-boys where up again to examine the results.

IC: Verin Sedai watched the screen as it shows the bomb dropping from the bomber's hatch. "Verin Sedai, readings on the bomb is as we have predicted, the field is holding." Verin Sedai nodded her head as she continued looking at the screen. The bomb impacted on the ground and it was as predicted, the field collasped upon impact and the matter and anti-matter reaction begun. A blast of pure energy expanded from the impact zone and expanded outwards, engulfing entire city blocks and trees. "Verin Sedai, the blast radius is about 1.5 miles." "Excellent, the Amrylin Seat will be pleased, as well as our generous benefactors."

"We have lost contact with our on site cameras, switching to sector 3 cameras." The screen blanked out for a while before returning back to show an image. "Sector 3 cameras online." The screen showed the site where the Imperial Palace was, the epicentre of the blast. The entire Palace and the surrounding buildings were completely vapourised and a massive blasted cratar now stands where the Palace was. "Callanda Sedai, contact the Amrylin Seat, tell her that the weapon is a success." Callanda Sedai nodded her head, "At once Sister."

As Mirage's powerful scanners begun collecting data from the blast site, the Brown Ajah begun to go through the available data and has concluded that the weapons test is a massive success, the field held the packets of anti-matter stablely without it going into a premature reaction, the weapon can now go into mass production and refinements to the collection process of the Anti-Matter and also the Field Generator will allow a bigger yield to be created. As usual, this information is 'Sealed To The Flame' (A.K.A Top Secret) and will only be available to our generous benefactors and to the White Tower.

The blast was captured on numerous satellites that had been trained on the epicentre, Prof.Egmann had set up a small base in Endenia. "I want as much data as we can from that blast. make sure we get our moneys worth. Check to see what the local scientists have and then cross check it with what we have. I want readings for radiation levels as often as you possible can."

He returned to his laptop and began feeding in what data he had to estimate the power of the blast. If this weapon was as good as it looked then many of the governments plans could become realities very very soon. Radiation had long ben the major problems with nuclear weapons and here was a solution. The money invested in the project would be well spent. He picked up the phone

"This is Egmann, tell the canal people that we may just have a solution to there problems. Also tell the research council that we have an estiated yield of about 13 kilotons with 3kg of matter and anti-matter. I'll be sending over the footage f the blast soon but now i have to go and congratulate the Endenians.

At that he picked up his coat, took a last look at the data coming in and grabbed the magnum of bubbly he had saved and walked towards the people behind this new weapon.

"Verin Sedai, we are getting data from our scanners. Radiation levels are still at standard levels since the meltdown, there is no rise in any radiation. The N2 bomb is a success."

"Excellent." She turned around and saw Egmann walking towards her with a bottle of champange. "Ah, Dr. Egmann. I trust your government is pleased with the test? Our scanners show no rise in radiation levels. Thus it fulfiles the cilent's request, is it not? This will make a good addition to the Tower Library. Of course I myself am not responsible for the entire project. The Brown Ajah all contributed to this effort and now here is the reward. One of the most powerful weapons every created, available to you now."

"Verin Sedai, apologies for interrupting you, The Amrylin Seat is here." A young Accepted curtised as she inform the Aes Sedai. Amrylin Sarah walked into the underground laboratory escorted by 4 other Aes Sedai and 5 of the DeathWatch Guard and nodded at Dr. Egmann. "Daughter, you have done well, your Ajah has bought much prominance to the White Tower." Verin Sedai curtised, "Thank you Mother."

Amrylin Sarah turned to Dr. Egmann, "Is your government pleased with this research? All the data will be copied and handed to your government soon. This weapon is not to be takened lightly, there are.....elements that would wish to lay their hands on this power."

OCC: Seems like somebody really likes Wheel of Time. ;)

Airforce Marshall DeLane looked at the sensor readings once more; no radiation, just residue heat that has spread all around the 1.5 miles of total destruction.

DeLane smiled and turned to her aide.
"Notify Oranjestad that the operation was a success and tell them to stand ready to receive the plans for the bomb and begin production."

"Yes, ma'am, will do." Her aide scurried off as she made her way towards the scientists from Endenia, Dumpsterdam and Huzen Hagen in the central control room. "Ladies and gentlemen, on behalf of the Dumpsterdanian government I am pleased to report that we are very happy with the completion of this project. Our Huzian allies seem to be satisfied too and so you have fulfilled your part of the bargain, New Endenia will receive the protection that it needs against foreign aggressors."

"But first, let us celebrate! Now where did that champagne go..."

The Amrylin Seat nodded her head in approval of Dumpsterdam representative. "Thank You. I am glad that your government is pleased with the results." One of the comptrollers walked to Verin Sedai and whispered into her ears. "Ah, yes. Thank You." She turned to the representatives. "The plans have been compiled into these two data discs. Take extreme care, rival nations may want to take the weapon from you." She handed the two representatives the discs. "This commission is completed, we may begin the second project." The Amrylin Seat nodded her head. "Very good, now if you will excuse me, I have much work to do back at the White Tower. Good-Day." With that she walked away and with her followed her escorts.

"Well then, back to work! We have a super-carrier plane to design and test." Verin Sedai announced to her research team. The other Aes Sedai nodded their heads in agreement and begun to walk towards the design room in Mirage. "Remember Commander, all data concerning the N2 Bomb is Sealed To The Flame." With that Verin Sedai turned away and followed the rest of her Ajah.
