OOC: Ill be using alot of modern terms until i get all the kinks worked out. For instance i have no idea what to call the leader of the Spanish.

Iberia: Warlord's Chambers "Sir," bowed an aide to the leader of Iberia(spain) "We have recieved information of a the Union between us and Brittania has been confirmed. We will work together to Unite us."

"good" said the leader. "Now We need to take portugal before we can ever fight through the Gauls."

The aide stared back at the leader, who was a very well built man, and a General at that. "I will lead 1,268 of our finest men straight into Portugal."

"Actually sir an angry mob of 360 Loyal to Spain has gathered around the border and prepare charge in. Well in a sense they have. They've begun an invasion."

The Leader sat back with a smile. "Who leads them?"
"I dont know sir,"
"Very well. I want Iberian Swordsmen, Scuitarii, and warhounds to go to their aide. For the time being that is all. Make sure the Brittanians ship over some head slingers, druids and some a warband or two, we need fear to stir in the heart of our enemies if Hispania is ever to be united."

"Yes sir." The aide short and weak walked off to carry out the Leader's Orders. Soon the Leader managed an Army of 1,268 to march and take the little strip of land that was left. He would show no Mercy to those that did not surrender before the fight. They would all die and embrace his power.

OOC: I was in a rush. Anyways need someone to RP the Portugeuse, preferably a BC member, but if not, then someone with RTW.

OOC: I cant RP Port for you but I can give you some tips.
Spain and Portugal were both part of the Roman Empire by 100BCE, Important parts--So Governers, Legions, so forth and so on is correct terminology. Spain uses Roman Tech--They have excellent Horses, Just behind the Bedouin/Persian/Asian--As a matter of fact the preferred mount for Cavalry was Spanish mounts as Arab mounts were reserved for Generals and the Emperor himself. Spain, Was Actually Hispania, and the People were common called Ibernians or CeltIbernians. Conquered first by Carthage then by Rome. Vine seems to have a good grasp of Roman terms.

OOC: What should i call the Spanish Ruler? Emperor King Warlord etc. And the Spanish use Roman Technology?

OOC:SInce you plan on creating an Empire,I suppose Emperor. Though King would also work.

Yes. the carthaginians used them as infantry in their war against rome. The legionaire's Gladius (short sword) was adapted to the legions after fights against the spains Scrutii. They are basically short swords. Auctually, i think rome adapted the throwing spear for the infantry charge as well... the piluii(plural for pilum). The infantry throw spears then charge the enemy. Rome noticed that this was a good tatic and adopeted the weapons. Other than that, Spainish at the time were carthaginian-influenced barbarians.

Warlord. The Iberians were ruled by petty cheifs and Warlords.
