The last few years have yielded us an excess of males. In the brave and beautiful land of Ophinia, all males are slaves to the females. They are trained from birth and sold shortly after reaching puberty. However, in recent years we have been coming away with more men than is necessary. The end result is three thousand trained male slaves we are putting up for sale. two thousand of them are used to hard labor, and the other thousand are domestic slaves. We are selling them for $400 us dollars each. Some have proven to be mischevious, but they are easily cowed with a hard whipping.

DGNT ships will be dispatched shortly, let it be known that they will fire on ANY ships seeking to come into Ophininian ports.

Please tell the vessels shipping slaves en route to head to the following coordinates and stop >coordinates given<, there, the cargo will be transferred to Godulan vessels and taken to forwarding stations.

Very well, we will consider ceasing the export of our slaves.

All around the Ophinian Island nation, men were being prepared by their female commanders for war. Anti Aircraft gunnery emplacements were aimed skyward, and drills were executed to the crack of the whip. The fifteen ships of the Ophinian navy aimed for the clouds as well. The commanding mistresses could be seen everywhere, in their black leather combat uniform with red lightning bolts on the arms and accross the breast, giving a quick lash to correct any lack of precision and haste. Songs of the glory of their beautiful mistresses came from the mouths of the slaves, a quick whipping given to any who sung off key. The fifteen fighter planes were prepared by groups of men, kept in line by the female pilots.

However, we will not allow you to police us. We will stop exporting our slaves in exchange for continued trade, but we will not give up our soverienty for any price.

Dontgonearthere does not wish to interfere with your nations internal workings, we simply seek to avoid nations beggining a slave trade, a long time ago this trade resulted in huge wars, and devestated nations.

The trade embargoes are not the largest threat we face. Remember, other nations have already declaired war.

We are already working on a way to get a crate of headcrabs onto the transports carrying troops to attack you.We expect to get at least 1 crate in.That's all we need to devestate an entire transport.

We will be happy to provide protection for the state of Ophinia, full military backing, up to but not including nuclear strike capability. This means we will provide for a minimal charge, tanks, rifles, planes and bombs.

There is one condition.
Ophinia must accept Dontgoneartheres Indentured Service laws over a period of time to be negotioated. Indentured service does not need to be accepted, you can continue owning your men for life if you want.
The laws basicaly provide a minimal level of treatment for all slaves, proper food, clothing, housing and such, for example:
Servants will be givin three meals a day, at least one meat.
Servants cannot have bones broken, or be rendered incapable of performing basic tasks.
This is mutualy advantageous, since obiviously, a servant with meat in his diet will be able to work harder and longer than a servant without.
To make sure, we will dispatch a team of (female) inspectors to assure that you follow these rules, but only if you accept obviously.

As for the time period to engage the laws, DGNT offers five to ten years for full establishment. After twently all of our inspectors will depart, but we will be...unhappy if you break this agreement any time soon.
Naturaly, we apologize if you already have a code of laws similar to or stricter than this, and will provide the weapons in any case.

We may adopt somewhat similer laws, but two problems exist. first, obvbiously the laws cannot be called indentured servant laws, as that may lead to the end of our lifestyle through a technicality. And second, while we agree to your ideas on the general treatment of slaves, we wish certain options to be available to our mistresses in regards to punishment. Sending a slave away without eating is considered a fairly lenient and common punishment for misbehaivior in our country. However, would you be appeased by a law prohibiting forced starvation?
The law against broken bones makes much sense, and it will be written into our constitution immediately. Though some mistresses may practise this, it is a level of cruelty above what is necessary.
