[Channel 9 News Update-From the UN meeting house]
"The UN body recognizes Mr. Henry Trewlin, the representative from Jaghur."
"Fellow UN members, as of 5:40 P.M., suicidal terrorists detonated explosives in the city of Gives, killing approximately 8,000 people and wounding many others and leaving parts of the city in ruin. Many people lost their homes in the bombings. 5 sets of explosives were placed in parking garages of office buildings, while others were placed in the more residential areas surrounding the downtown. One man witnessed one explosion in the downtown area. He gave this description to reporters'I was coming back from a lunch break, and I turned around the corner. Right then, about a quarter mile away down the street, the building I worked in suddenly went up in flame and smoke as it exploded. There was nothing left after, and there had been so many people in the building.' William Thurston, ruler of Jaghur said that although there were many deaths, he encourages that the people of Jaghur unite in mourning and become stronger as a nation. The government of Jaghur pleads for money and supplies from other nations to help the people who survived the attacks. I am sure that other nations who have experienced such sorrow will know the suffering and death that terrorism causes. I and the people of Jaghur only hope that you will give to help our people."
