This RP was slightly inspried by a similar immigration RP done a while back, but basically, I am looking for interested persons who want to RP the experience of a new colonist moving to our proprietary colony of Shin-Nihon.

This stems from my MetaEarth RP, to provide some background. It concerns the RALM's development of their colony of Shin-Nihon, or New Japan, as they try to build their ideal society.

The colonists can be any type of person, as long as they like anime. I am not looking for a war, so don't insert agents.

I am, in particular, looking for people to RP doctors, civilians, family groups, and even slave workers, who are here under the guise of "contract workers."

EDIT: A future note for anybody interested, you can make your person anyway you wish......submit ideas to me, and I'll do with it what I can.

See, I need more people......probablly a mix of different types of people, ranging from Plantation Barons to Families, etc, to doctors and Computer techs, etc.

Assign me to anything you want. I usually rely on dark scenes with some comedic elements. But if you want something different just say.

Hmm.......perhaps...how does a prospecitve plantation baron sound?

If not, we can try an an absent minded professor who gets in toruble with the police.

Personally, I am leaving you to decide the roles, as I actually have no imagination for making roles.... :(

Absent minded professor and drug baron are more the slapstick kind of characters I try to avoid. I play on personality. I suppose if I were to choose my own in this RP I would go for someone quite old, which would provide me with my kind of material. I suppose an ordinary man of about 50 put into a few unusual (to an extent)situations.

Perfect! Like I said, this is your man or woman, you can craft his character anyway you choose.....

Once the closed thread will be made, this goes for everybody, you can post different intros for your characters, I am expecting several different narrative threads.

Colonist: Jiohan O'Brien
Age: 147
Background: Former member of the infamous Black Lung Squad. Jiohan was the only member who didn't smoke. After an illustrious military career he decided to retire and raise crocodiles for a living. His business failed miserably so he's moving to Shin-Nihon to try it again. He has two packs of Tongers and hopes to breed them. And then sell them to other colonist's to make some cash.

Colonist: Prince Nathaniel Everwing
Age: 206
Background check: Prone to self destruction, he is the youngest child of the Emperor of the Elvarin and therefore ineligible to occupy the throne. To his Elven elders, his eccentricity and penchant for getting into trouble belies an intellgience (albeit used for the wrong means) that would be better suited to serve in the military as an officer as such service is compulsary. The kidnapping of Three hundred beautiful vestal virgins is one such act that was (known) recorded of his 300 page file of rampant womanizing. He did it on a dare and charmed all 300 women to kiss him on the cheek. He has fled from his homeland after hijacking an imperial cruiser with his bodyguard and friend of the Dragon Knights, Hector FallenLeaves. It had to do with the fact that he destroyed the crown jewels when he stole it, (on another dare), and was meant to crown a Battle tank. To his horror, the tank was used in a test of gravity resistance, and none of the scientist notice the simple gold crown on the turret. He nows wants to live the simple life (yea right) and has dreams of opening a bookstore (Mainly to chat up beautiful intelligent women).

Colonist: Hector Fallenleaves
Age: 204
Background: Bodyguard and estranged friend of the young prince, he was assigned to protect his liege lord (and avoid him getting into trouble). He is considered the finest soldier the Dragon Knights ever had and with incredible potential. It was with sadness that he was assigned to be a bodyguard of the prince. The Knights have a common belief that any who serve that prince, was about to have their immeasurably long lives shortened. Hector really misses the simple life of getting shot at instead of the multitude of horrors he has endured in the service of his prince.
