Yesterday, at three o clock in the morning, Andrev Tokoviclah was arrested by Secret Police in his home in Bakutonolev. Andrev Tokoviclah had been running his own Media business for some time, officials said. He was however, employing less than 18 persons in his business so the state did not see fit to hand over his business to the Bakutonolev City Economic Comission for State running.

Andrev Tokoviclah was arrested on the charges of violation of the following acts;
The "Enemy of the Motherland Act" gives the Army [The police] power to arrest people at any one time for any reason, without sufficient evidence, with no trial, with an unlimited sentence and using unlimited force.
As he moved to protect his home against the Secret Police unit designated to arrest him.
The "Anti-Panic Mongerer Act" gives the Army [The Police] power to arrest any citizen, using the "Enemy of the Motherland Act" in his purpose, if said citizen is in violation of the Panic Mongerer Law;
Any Citizen of Hogsweat must not spread rumours contrary to the regime
Any Citizen of Hogsweat must not report news to the populace that is not fully endorsed by the Government beforehand

Tokoviclah was taken to an execution camp outside Bakutonolev. He is to be shot in two days. Tokoviclah was also charged with co-ordinating with invading Scandavian Forces, but this claim was rejected by the Commissioner in charge of the execution signing.

Here in Oddardynia, we believe that one of the core rights that each person must have is the right to free speach. Citizens must be allowed to have their own opinions and voice them, even if these opinions contradict the ones of the government. You yourself have said that the charges of collaberating with invading forces were dropped, and as such, have sentenced him to death simply for having his own opinion. Because of you, a man will die for doing absolutly nothing wrong. Oddardynia condemns this action, and while we will not declare war, none among us support you in this.

The Republic wishes to formally rebuke the Hogsweatian government for their continued denial of basic rights to their own citizens. At this time, Eredron is considering revoking it's diplomatic recognition of Hogsweat.

Why not save your country the bullets that will be wasted on this poor mans life and allow him permanent asylum in Buechoria? We will provide all tranposrtation for his safe passage here. Depriving any human of his or her right to free speech is a horrible thing that no one deserves.

As such, the official position of this government is that while we respect the right of Hogsweat to limit the information presented by its own media sources, we condemn the draconian punishments dictated by their laws, punishments that result in the un-necessary death of an individual.
