Public IC: We are now emplacing a grid of sonobouys, and underwater buoys to listen deeper than the top layers of the ocean.

Secret IC: Anti-Submarine mines are going to be placed within 10 miles of the shipping routes that have been attacked.

Secret IC: Manufacturing of all cars with leather seats has stopped, as well as any cars with tropical wood furnishings. Growth has stopped, and a collapse of some parts of the manufacturing sector is feared.

Secret IC: Kahta relies on imports to keep the oil industry going, largely due to massive amounts of fuel consumed by the armed forces. They account for 40% of fuel usage.

Secret IC: In a creative way, the Department of Economics, started including some goods from Mississippi as produced in Kahta, such as some food. The surplus is about half the size as stated.

OOC: Nothing that Hazmat suits and some sterelization bombing couldn't fix. And if it is we'll just bomb it some more. Except for the chemical stuff we'll probably have to do a purge of the landscape but that just requires some rain.

OOC:Kahta I suggest you ignore this... the kinetic energy of the ICBM hitting the earth at mach 20+ would cause the missile to disintergrat...( the only reason ground burst missiles dont disintergrate is because they dont detonate on the ground. Instead they detonate a couple of dozen feet above it. Still close enough for the fireball to touch the ground and thus be considered a 'ground burst'.
