Nations of the world, I am Hamun R. Larotz, Chief Ambassador from the Holy Kingdom of Entsteig. We come to you today to report that there has been a wave of sniper attacks in the northwestern province of our land. As of now, 55 citizens of Entsteig have been gunned down, shot twice in the stomach. The bullets apparently do not come out of the victims after they have been shot, causing internal damage.

Upon closer investigation, the bullets extracted from the corpses are now confirmed to be from an outside source, not purchased from any store in Entsteig. It is possible that they were purchased from the black market, but we monitor all business dealings closely and this is therefore unlikely.

Due to recent events, some government officials believe that some of the Alliance of Anti Entsteig is responsible for this attack. King Hedrik II believes that that is impossible, seeing that they have backed off and dissolved. We have seen that the order of the attacks forms the shape of...a pentagram.

Nations of the world, one of you is responsible for the attacks on our citizens.

Today, a team sent to investigate has found a strange in an old, foreign van. This is quite uncommon in Entsteig, considering that we have a large automobile manufacturing industry and the high price of foreign cars here. Let's go to Holli De'ara for the report.

Thank you, Josiah. Throughout the provincial capital, there is a great fear rolling through the neighborhoods. Officials here have found a strange device in a van, but they currently do not know how to activate it. All they would tell us is that it was ring-shaped, with spikes pointing to the four cardinal directions. The van has a design that Steigian intelligence has never seen before. Josiah?

Although we are not sure why, recent raids on Moashi freighters shows that the bullets your citizens were attacked by match those of Moashi caches onboard. It angers the Heraan that the First House of Moash would dare use something as cowardly as Snipers, but what has been done has been done.

We tell you this, because there is a delemma.

If you declare war on House Moash, all of the Great Houses of the Aurorans: House Dani, Vella, Heraan, and Tekel, as well as the central Auroran government, must declare war on you as well. I propose another idea:

Ruler of Entsteig, in an effort to send spies into your country to gather information, we stumbled upon a group of snipers attempting to enter your country in the same region where the attacks began. One of their group spotted us and started firing. We made short work of them as they were inexperienced in firefights and beyond their snipers, only had pistols. After closer study of the bodies, one of our crew identified from the markings on their clothes that they did not bear the flag of any known nation. We concluded that they were an independent mercenary group who were either hired by a country or are just violent murderers, not caring who they gun down. We hope this information has helped you, and we promise not to send any government agents into your country while this crisis continues.

And the thing that interests me is that After checking the bullet type... I found that the bullets from mine and yours are the same bullet. Now, after checking the intellegence of material minings of the country... the Aurons do not have the material to make this bullet. However... both Karchosia and Jaghur have plenty of material mined to make bullets like these. So after putting 2 + 2 together... i figure that The Aurorans information they gave you was incorrect. I think foul play is in stake... and I also think that the people who did this are actuilly the people that are trying to help you. Be on your guard... as it may happen.

Hello, Entsteig. I am Korsh, the official Moashi Ambassador with the dealings of Other Worlds. We have just recieved word that the Heraan have stated that we, the First House of the Aurorans, the Moash, aided and ebedded snipers within your territory.

It is true, our freighters were carying similar weapon designs, but we did not organize such a cowardly attack upon civilians. Despite the Heraan claim, we are an honorable people who would never harm civilians! At least, not with cowardly attacks like hiding and attacking.

We recently recieved the prisoners the Heraan captured from the ship, and have proptly executed them for being captured by the enemy (which is a most dishonorable deed). But, before we blasted them into nothing, we made sure to get their statements. They stated, and I quote, "We were only following a private delivery of weapons to a neutral station. We had no idea of who these were for or why, only that we were being payed 600,000 Credits just to deliver!"

For those of you less oriented on the Credit market, 600,000 Credits is enough to get you a comfortable Luxury Liner and still have cash to burn.

Therefore, we of House Moash wish for Entsteig to see the only possible cause for these attacks: The Heraan must have planted evidence convicting our men in order for your elaborate nation to fund their war effort!!! I say, fund the Moashi War Effort against the Heraan! The True decivers of our people!

We ment not to upset or accuse u... we were just pointing out that the Aurons were apperantly staged by another country. But just remember, we would never use terrorism to attack. If we wanted to attack... Entsteig's country would've been bombed by now. Plus, if these attacks are linked, then that would mean we attacked ourselfs, and I don't think that happens. A few weeks ago, some terrorists took over one of our northern trillium mines. They held it three days. Our military retook it, but not before the terrorists took some trillium and escaped. Apparently, they were heading towards your country to get through to Entsteig. If you find them, capture them and hold them under maximum guard.

"Some terrorists. Karchosia was unable to get them, so now they decided to send them to us!"
"Sir, calm down. They wouldn't send terrorists to our country."
"I know. Just a little angry. Send men to the western borders, and if you find any suspicious people, arrest them."

"Wait a second."
"What? What is it?"
"Two border police."
"We'll never get this trillium through."
"Yes, we will. We'll just do it very quietly."
"Send the men over the walls, but tell them to keep quiet."
"Okay. But if this doesn't work, it's our necks."

[the two border police]

"Hey, Bill."
"O, hey Tim."
"Anything new?"
"Nope. Just that part of the army is coming to defend this border. Apparently, some terrorists have escaped from a Karchosian trillium mine and are headed this way."
"Ah, who cares about that. I'm just a simple border policeman. Anyways, how are the kids and the wife?"
"Good. My wife just got a promotion and my daughter learned a new word today."
"What?"
"Dadda."
"[chuckle] Well, good. Tell your wife I'm glad f-"
"What? Did you hear something?"
"Nah. It was probably just a stray cat. There are plenty in town."

"Is there any news from Entsteig or any of those involved in the investigation?"
"Well, sir, there was a brief report that came from Jaghur."

"Well, the terrorists slipped past their patrols."
"DAMN! Now what are we supposed to do? With that trillium that they stole they could make hundreds of bullets! They must be hunted down with the utmost urgency!"
"Um, right, sir."
"Why are you just standing there, send of a transmission to the countries, tell them to start mobilizing!"
"Right away, sir!"

Attention all nations involved in this investigation. The countries that make up the Rogue Alliance are asking you to mobilize small strike teams in your countries with the intent to hunt down any suspected terrorist operatives and cells. We hope to capture any other terrorists before they have a chance to spread havok. Also, patrol your waters for any suspicious craft. We know that there are terrorists that are in the nation of Jaghur, they have a load of trillium and they could terrorize thousands with it. We thank you for your offer. However, we have our own strike teams to deal with the terrorists. We will contact you for your strike teams should the need arise. I do not feel this way, but others in the government feel wronged by your founder, Karchosia, after he left our region. They argue amongst themselves about this matter and the fact that we are helping Entsteig. I do not want unrest among my people for such trifles just because of differences. "Well, I didn't know the Karchosian army was coming that soon. I thought that trillium mine was isolated."
"Idiot! Trillium is a precious material! Anyways, what are THEY going to do with it?"
"If I tell you, will you not report about the mistakes I made to THEM?"

"Okay, I'll keep my mouth shut. But how are we going to get through?"
"Have the men keep their weapons armed. We're going to sneak in and grab a jeep."

[they go over the wall and to the nearest jeep]
"Load the trillium."
"HEY! Who are you?!!"
"Get going!"
"NO! WAIT FOR ME! WA-"
[he gets hit in the side of the head]
"Quick, call in the sergeant. Looks like we got one of those terrorists."

[a lieutenant comes running into Commander Joe Greyson's office]
"SIR! SIR!"
"What is it?!"
"They've got one of the terrorists!"
"Good! Where is he now?"
"In the hospital here, sir. He just came in a few minutes ago. He took a blow to the side of the head."
"What happened?"
"The terrorists stole a jeep. I think they needed a way to get around with that trillium. He was left behind and a private struck him in the head."
"Good. As soon as he's out of the hospital, get him to interrogation. And promote that private to First Class Sergeant!"

"Commander Greyson, sir?"
"Yes?"
"We didn't get any information out of him."
"Damn! I need information. Who knows what they're planning to do with the trillium?! Anyways, is there anything more that the terrorists could do to the peoples of Entsteig?"
"Well, King Hedrik is supposed to make a speech sometime in the next two weeks."
"Alert King Hedrik and the peoples of Entsteig."
"Um, sir, communications are down for the indefinitelydue to technical problems and the transport planes are in service. By the time we could get anything up, it would be too late to warn King Hedrik of the possible danger."
"Well, then all we can do is hope he uses his head."

Command Sergeant Major Qrez Hoj scowled, his back to the wall. He peered around the corner and saw four terrorists in camouflage quietly soliciting. He signaled his squad to follow him.

This was the main communications relay station in Entsteig. It connected Entsteig to most of the outside world, and if it was destroyed, Entsteig would be isolated. Though it was still up and running, it didn't have enough power to broadcast to every other nation, with the power sources down. Entsteig's only easy contact would be Karchosia, leading the Rogue Alliance.

Hoj turned the corner, ducked, and rolled, firing off multiple bursts at the apparent leader's legs. The leader screamed and went down, though still not dead. Then, his squad--the elite squad of the Entsteig Marines, the famous Paladins--did its job. They ambushed the three remaining terrorists and attacked viciously. Two went down, but one fled and broke into the communications station.

"Tudas, gather the leader's body and quiet him down," he growled to the squad. "Sdez, see if you can locate him with your sniper rifle."
Tudos and Sdez complied.

Hoj reloaded his rifle. He chuckled grimly. There would be no way that any lone terrorist could down the communications station. They only sent four for stealth, he thought.
"Sir, I've located the terrorist. He's attending to his wounds in the station," said Bulek Sdez.
"Shoot his legs. We need another hostage to see if the leader lies when we interrogate him."

[an interrogation room]

"I grow tired of your uncooperativity. Tell me what you were doing with the trillium and where you were going."
[silence]
"Tell me now!"
"Aren't you going to put me on the rack, burn my feet, cut off my arms?"
"No, we are more civilized then you."
"I will not tell you."
"Fine. Your sentence will be carried out in a week."
"What sentence?"
"You are on death row."
"Death row?!"
"Think about it. If you talk, you will be set free once we have identified your information is accurate. If you don't, you'll be standing in front of a firing squad!"

[interrogator exits, walks across compund to Commander Joe Greyson's office]

[knock on the door]
"Come in."
[he comes in]
"Ah, Captain. Anything today?"
"No, but I told him that he was on death row. It might work to crack his resistance to answering the questions."
"Yes, it might work. Dismissed, Captain."
"Yes, sir. Come in, Lieutenant."
[Captain exits]
"Have the technicians fixed communications?"
"No, sir."
"Are the strike teams following the terrorists that escaped?"
"Yes, sir, but with no luck. They've been able to avoid the ambushes."
"Do they know where they are now?"
"Well, sir, it's hard to tell. They've stolen a utility van to avoid the eyes of everyday citizens. An army jeep rolling down the streets is bound to raise some eyes."
"Tell the strike teams to search any utility van they find and get them a permit for search and arrest if they find something. If it is a trillium mine transport van, make sure the driver and any passengers inside are part of the TRC."
"Yes, sir."

King Hedrik II walked over to the detained terrorist leader. The terrorist spat on King Hedrik's face and snarled to him, "I will never talk. You cannot make me."
Hedrik calmly wiped off the spittle with the back of his hand and gave the terrorist a vicious backhand in the face.
The terrorist growled, "Try as you might, you shall never succeed. You and your people are to meet your ends soon."
"Really?" asked King Hedrik. He pulled out a pistol.
"Idle threats cannot make me talk."
"Yes, they can," Hedrik said and slammed the barrel of the pistol down on the terrorist's knee. The terrorist's face grimaced in pain but he made no sound.
Hedrik scowled. This was going to be difficult.

The East Lithuanian Interagater entered the room with a serious look on your face. He immediatly puts his briefcase down, he may need it later, and walks slowly toward the captured prisoner.

As he walks, he asks... "Hello... My name is Mr. Santoro... and I will be your Hell for as longas you want me to be. So tell me... were are you men now?"

The prisoner laughed. "Do you think YOU can make me tell you?!?!"

Mr. Santoro chuckled, and spoke... "Would you want to try and attack me. Guards... put your weapons down and step away."

He untangles the prisoner and gives him a knife and steps back. The other interrigaters look at him like he is crazy.
