This addition is the on Planet Navy I purchased from Kormanthor so he
wouldn't need to transport it off planet. Besides I'm thinking I might be
needing a higher level of protection in the near future.

Kormanthorian Sea Transport

The Ferrussian Coalition of Defense Agencies (FCDA) recently announced the launch of a radical new sea transport: the RT-S10. The colossal ship is a platform for any major sea-based invasion, with an integrated (hovercraft) deployment and recovery system and a maximum capacity of 2,176 M1A1 Abrams tanks*.
The transport holds up to 60 LCAC hovercrafts (sold with the transport) and the 4 elevators can altogether lower 20 hovercrafts every 10 minutes. With 16 decks for tank/personell/truck transport, and another 2 for hovercraft storage, the space limitations are few.
With space in the back for fuel and food (see schematic below), the transport is largely self-sustaining, at least for short periods of time. Additional supplies are recommended for any
extended voyage, as is heavy escort.
The transport is armored quite substantially, as the capacity means that losing just one transport could be potentially devastating. It is equipped with a helipad, RO/RO ramps in the front for faster loading/unloading of tanks when at a major port, and quarters for the hovercraft and tank/truck crews. Loading and unloading MUST take place in relatively calm waters.
The ships are being produced as quickly as possible, but it takes quite some time to complete a single vessel. With the included 60 LCAC hovercrafts,

The Kormitz-Class Carrier

Description: Hosting 85 aircraft and carrying enough supplies to sustain her Air Wing and escorts for 90 days, the modern Aircraft Carrier, in effect, represents a mobile piece of Kormanthorian Real Estate, capable of projecting the power and influence of the Kormanthor any where in the world. While still fully capable of dominating the open seas, the Navy, through the Carrier Battle Groups, now focuses on supporting near shore "littoral zone" and inshore U.S. ground operations. While the Ticonderoga class Guided Missile Cruisers and Arleigh Burke class Guided Missile Destroyers possess an awsome amount of firepower, they lack the flexability of the carrier air wing. By swaping out and adjusting the number of aircraft aboard, the aircraft carrier can tailor its air wing to meet mission needs. The Kormitz-class carriers, eight operational and one under construction, are one of the largest, most powerful, warships in the world.

Description: Air cushion craft for transporting, ship-to-shore and across the beach, personnel, weapons, equipment, and cargo of the assault elements of the Marine Air-Ground Task Force.

Features: The Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) is a high-speed, over-the-beach fully amphibious landing craft, capable of carrying a 60-75 ton payload. It is used to transport the weapons systems, equipment, cargo and personnel of the assault elements of the Marine Air-Ground Task Force from ship to shore and across the beach. LCAC can carry heavy payloads, such as an M-1 tank, at high speeds. The LCAC payload capability and speed combine to significantly increase the ability of the Marine Ground Element to reach the shore. Air cushion technology allows this vehicle to reach more than 70 percent of the world's coastline, while only about 15 percent of that coastline is accessible by conventional landing craft.

Hover Carrier:

The Armed Republic of Unum Veritas has recently developed a new design for the venerable aircraft carrier. Of old, the only drawback to an aircraft carrier, was its limited attack radius. Without tanker support, an aircraft carrier could not threaten a landlocked country or even the center of a large country with a coastline. But that has all changed with the invention of the new HVC carrier class. Instead of a conventional, water-based aircraft carrier, this new class is a hovercraft. The hovering ability allows it to cross any terrain, be it land, or sea. This gives the carrier an unlimited attack radius, and the ability to hit any target necessary.
Due to the fact that this vessel does not sit in the water, it is practically invisible on sonar. It is also immune to any torpedoes because the torps can't acquire it without active sonar pinging.

Specs:

Nuclear Powered.
Hovering movement
Max number of aircraft: 80
Three runways
Four helo pads
Rear sea-level launch bay for sea-based transports
Necessary crew (including pilots and flight crews): 850
State of the art radar
Towed array sonar for naval use
Runway capable for all fighters, tankers, early-warning aircraft, jammers, and transports.
Top cruising speed 60 knots.
Max speed during air operations 34 knots.

Modified AH-1A1 Super Sea Cobra

This version of the AH-1A1 is a improved version of the AH-1Z/AH-1A1 Super Sea Cobra. Some of the improvements include the addition of 6 hard points as opposed to the original 4 and 2 wingtip racks. Each of the 4 inner hard points can carry 1 large missle (like the harthingy or maverick ) or up to 8 smaller missiles (such as the Hellfire or stinger) the outer wing hard point can carry 1 hellfire or 7 hydra rockets each, and the wingtip racks can hold 1 sidewinder or 2 stinger missiles. It is also much faster because of the rear ducted tail fan which provides extra speed. It is an excellent aircraft to base off of ships for supporting marine or special operations because of its small foot print and foldable rotor blades. While it is based on the AH-1Z (seen here)
it is much faster and can carry more weapons due to the up rated engines and longer, sturdier wings. It also has a longer range and increased surviviabilty.

M-34 Amphibious Main Battle Tank

Design

Designed to be a strong Battle Tank with a large arnament and Amphibious capabilities, this design was going to be hard. It had to handle well in the water but at the same time move well and be able to fight well on land. A large pair of water jets were also needed, which is why it has a long shape, a flat Glacis and a sloping underside. This brilliant design allows it to be amphibious, fast, and still be effective on land.

Its armor is made out of an Experimental Titanium Alloy in an Epoxy Resin Honeycomb, backed by a layer of steel and lastly a layer of interwoven Fibres and Ceramics. All this has spacers and Tungstena and Diamond Pigments in the mix. This is a stronger armor than the previous Titanium Epoxy Resin, yet it is still lighter than most tank armor thanks to the Fibres that work with the Ceramics. But, most importantly, the plastic Fibres and Epoxy Resin make it float like a cork, which is pretty important.

The engine that runs it all is huge. It is a 1000 HorsePower Engine, which has dual compatability. It has two modes, water turbine mode and land mode, and they cannot be used together. Though, when used apart, they are effective and very, very good. It can move to 28 km/h in the water, and a full 56mph on land. A subsytem in the tank allows for quick and automatic driving, allowing for better economics and easier turning. The whole thing is monitored by a computer, and will not move without it.

The angular shapes all around give added round protection as rounds are more likely to deflect off. The turret armor is very thick, at 350mm, and the body armor is 200mm all around. The inside is seperated by bulkheads between the crew, and the ammo stores are situated off to one side, behind a layer of Ceramics and Tungsten. As not shown in the picture, there are our new NEDA blocks which have the same effect as ERA, but do not as it were explode as violently.

The NEDA is explosive armor which expldoes outwards when a blast is coming in. ERA did this, but with NEDA there are hexagons which each detect an incoming explosion, and explode only that sector than the whole block. It is a very effective system, and saves all the blocks from being used up. It is also safer fir infantary near by, as the smaller more centred explosion only explodes in the projectile, not in all directions. The NEDA blocks are high up on the tank, which means it does not effect the floating of the tank.

The jet turbine system is driven by the Hydrogen motor. It compresses the water and mixes it with air, and sends it flying out the other side aided by high pressure gas that is created in the whole chemical proccess. The engine is believe it or not, water cooled, for nice running on the land. The water is projected ou the back, to push the vehicle forward, as does the sucking in of water nearer the front.

Systems

The systems on this vehicle are like no other, and are the same as those on the M-26.
Quote:
First off, there is the Joint Tactical Infomation Distrubtion System. It allows tanks to talk to other tanks, records and sends data and manages the tanks communications systems. It is high speed and is managed by the SuperComputer just in front of the engine. It looks after inter-tank and inside tank information, and can communicate with any JTIDS equipped vehilce/unit on the planet. It either uses Sattelite Communication or laser Communication.

The little antinnae on the tanks roof does a lot. It transmits all satellite, radio and laser communications to communicate in any way. It is directly linked to the SuperComputer and can transmit to any covered area on the globe. This may seem minor, but is central in communication. The new addition for this tank is a millimeter wave radio, which was inspired by quite a few sources. It may not be as small as other,s, but waterproofing needed doing.

The 360 degree camra systems are mounted on the roof and are intergrated with the Thermal and Night Vision Imaging systems. There are 2, for the Gunner and Commander. Screens at each position show the tanks status and various other things which are monitored by sensors and the SuperComputer.

The targetting system is enabled by both the gunner and commander. It conveys messages to the Autoloader, co-axial gun and turret mounted gun. The aiming sytem incorporates wind, temperature and target positioning and caters for it in adjusting the gun. The gunne can even target manually. It can be set to aim at Heat giving objects or targets given to it by the JTIDS. It also manages the targetting of the Anti Missile Laser, depending on which mode it is set to. This means quick and effective anti missile targeting.

The tank economy system monitors the engine and tread movement and modifies it depending on where the gunner wants the tank to go. It also varies the water exhaust flow, and manages the movement controls. A full NBC system is installed with filters in between the crew compartments and various exhaust systems.

The Jammer installed is a Multi-Frequency Electrnoic Jammer, nicknamed ARENA-3. It can jam electronics up to 600 metres away guranteed and less so for hardened systems. For extra dosh, an anti jammer jammer called Dragon can be installed.

The supercmputer itself is ultra fast and can hold, give and pass onn info in nano seconds. It is liquid cooled, amazingly by the liquid produced by the engine. It maintains everything in the tank, and is vital.

Also added for this version is a track economy system. This regulates the turning of the tracks to get the direction wanted by the driver. The driver merely points the direction, the computer regulates the turn speed on what is needed, and runs the tracks at varying speeds to allow for long slow turns. It also regulates the turning system for the water jets, in the same manner.

Arnament

The arnament was an important part of this tank, and has been taken very seriously. The arnament on this tank was seriously effected by the possible size, but we have got the best arnament in we could get. So, here it is.

The Main Arnament is an 125mm Electro Thermal Chemical Cannon. This fairly large cannon can burn through the armor of most tanks, like the M1A2, T-90, Merkeva and every tank smaller than that in existance. It is reliable, and backed by a fast 15 RPM autoloader. It magazine is 18 rounds on the Autoloader belt, 12 on the Autloader Reloader and 15 in reserve.

The Secondary Arnament is a new concpt for us. It is a 30mm AutoCannon to take out APC's, IFV's and some older tanks. This high velocity AutoCannon is fast firing and accurate, attached to the main barrel. It has 250 rounds in reserve. On the top of the tank, the commanders weapon is a 12.7mm Machine Gun. It can be fired from outside or inside the tank, using a firing computer.

The ATGM's on the tank are eight Kornet ATGM's. Theya re in two pods out in front of the tank, so they do not explode into it and damage it if hit.
They are used in combination with the JTIDS and Targetting System, to have multiple target for a number of circumstances.

Countermeasures include eight 40mm Grenade launchers, two of which are loaded with flares, two with Chaff and four with Smoke Grenades.
Also, there are several rear facing smoke dischargers, which can be loaded with a variety of loads. These allow the tank to quickly conceal themsleves when under fire.

An Anti Missile Laser System is also fitted, as in our other vehicles. These can protect the vehicle from missiles, RPG's, and even shells. It is a free rotating platform and uses the targettign system, JTIDS and sensors to track and target a missile. This new upgrade allows it to be used against infantary, is told to by the gunner.

Retribution class amphibious assault ship

Length: 1300 feet
Width: 220 feet
Speed: 16 knots
Assault craft: 5 LCUs OR 8 LCACs OR 10 LCMs OR 70 AAVs OR 4 TITAN I LCACs.
Aircraft: 3 MH-53 SeaDragon and 5 CH-46 SeaKnight
Armament: 2 Mk. 29 launchers for the Sea Sparrow SAM on horizontally rotating pallets. 2 Mk. 29 launchers for the Evolved Sea Sparrow SAM on horizontally rotating pallets. 4 Phalanx 20mm CIWS on horizontally rotating pallets. 4 dual .50 caliber MG turrets on horizontally rotating pallets. One Mk. 32 triple torpedo tube capable of holding Mk. 46 and Mk. 50 torpedos. One Mk. 41 VLS system consisting of 8 cells which can fire a variety of missiles (including the Harpoon antiship missile) and ASROCs.
Crew: 1300 ship's company and 2550 Marine detachment.
Cost: $1.45 billion. 10% discount to allies only. Price does not include landing craft and aircraft. No nation may purchase more than 3 at a time.
The Retribution is as close to perfect as you'll get for amphibious assaults. Appearing to be your average oil tanker or large freighter, the ship can get within assault range of enemy coasts unchallenged. Once it's within assault range or it is challenged, two large doors on the front of the ship swing open to allow landing craft to exit, and the weapons systems rotate into firing position. Other doors on each side open to reveal a helicopter hangar and extendable pad. Heavily armed, the Retribution class is able to fend off most attackers. Once it has returned to base, thin removable panels on the hull can be switched out or repainted, and decoy containers can be moved or added, enabling the ship to change color, shape, and form with each deployment. However, the very large size of the ship enables it to dock only at specially built ports, or ports designed to accomodate ULCC(ultra large crude carrier) tankers, and the minimal amount of helos can be a problem in certain situations.

The EA-220 Joint Tactical Bomber is the result of a long multinational development program and is probably the best aircraft in its field to date. Nations were handpicked by the Elias Ministry of Defence Procurement and Export due to their expertise in various areas of design and construction so quality and reliability is obviously of the highest possible degree.

The aircraft itself is designed to provide Carrier Battle groups or Air Force Strike wings with an unrepresented ability to penetrate enemy air space and delver large amounts of ordnance accurately while being able to escape due to stealth technology, countermeasures and capacity for air to air weapons. The other main consideration was that the aircraft had to be flexible as nations all use different weapons and have different requirements; this goal has been achieved mostly due to the open architecture computer systems developed by Crookfur.

Elias Aerospace along with its partners without which this plane would never have come into existence are extremely proud of this new design that took much time and money to develop although the rewards in capability are most worth it.

FC-57 Assault Rifle

Its 6.62 is designed to use FC bullets which are somewhere in between the versatile 5.56 and the powerful 7.62.
Its design is a mix of the tried and tested M4 and OICW, and has replaced the OICW, AKS-74U, G36 and M16 in our armed forces.
It has a carbine designed, M16 inspired barrel, with what looks like a smooth gripped M203 underneath. Both barrels merge into an OICW's main body with trigger, but both the grenade launchers 5 round magazine and the assault rifles magazines are at the back. This allows added weight to be added at the front to reduce barrel rising and increase accuracy. It has a stock which is where the magazines are inserted, in front of the shoulder. The grenade launcher can be unattached to leave the Assault rifle, for QB and Airborne use. Also, there is a multipurpose slot where a custom made bayonet, custom made, laser 'pin prick' targeting, custom made torch and custom made MILES system fit into the holder.
The grenade launcher fires either HE or HEAT shells, with the HEAT being a mini version of the tank inspired shell. The assault rifle uses the FC 6.62 rounds which can be brass cased or explosive matrix enclosed. This is the first step my R&D has amde other than a rotary launcher for torpedos.

Assault Rifle Stats:

Name: FC-57
Ammo Type: 6.62mm Caseless FC ammunition
Weight: 4 kg
Operation: Carbine
Range: 1000 metres
Scope Magnification: times 4
ROF: 250 rounds per minute

Hellfire Class Heavy Cruiser

Most modern navies seem to be rather weak on shore bombardment vessels, and most ships (excluding battleships) rely on missiles too heavily, rather than normal guns. Seeing this gap in our own navy, we have decided to re-engineer these former gunships and restore them to active service. After adding new technologies to these ships and improving guns and ammunition, the Heavy Cruiser is once again available for sale. The guns can now be used to fire a wide array of munitions such as depleted uranium rods, incendiary charges, high-explosives, etc. These ships are vital to support of invading forces.

Hovercraft Deep Sea Transport

Although we are very proud of our hovercrafts, we must acknowledge that they cannot handle extremely rough waters. Therefore it is only effective within a 50 mile radius from a shoreline. Well, how is one to place a blockade on a foreign country if these blockade ships can't reach that country? Well, once again the VirginIncursion engineers have come through with the development of a ship specifically designed to transport our hovercrafts.

VIGBY CLASS CORVETTES, VIRGININCURSION

The Vigby Class of Stealth Corvettes was built for the VirginIncursion Navy by the British Isles company Tortola Gorda Shipwrights Construction beginning in 1996 at Tortola Gorda ' Road Town Yard. The Vigby (K31) was launched in June 2000 and was delivered to the VirginIncursion Navy in June 2002 for fitting with weapons and combat systems. The Vigby is now operational throughout the world in the VirginIncursion Navy.

DESIGN

The design of the Vigby has been directed to minimizing the optical and infra-red signature, above water acoustic and hydro acoustic signature, underwater electrical potential and magnetic signature, pressure signature, radar cross section and actively emitted signals. A stealth corvette of the YS 2000 design has a detection range of 13km in rough seas and 22km in calm sea without jamming. In a jammed environment, the Vigby would be detected at a range of 8km in rough sea and 11km in calm sea.
The hull material is a sandwich construction comprising a PVC core with a carbon fiber and vinyl laminate. The material provides high strength and rigidity, low weight, good shock resistance, low radar and magnetic signature.

COMMAND AND CONTROL

The vessel's CETRIS C3 (command, control and communications) system consists of the Farrar Aerospace 12LV Mk3E combat management system, the MAST decision support aid and the integrated communications system. The 9LV Mk 3 is based on open system architecture and uses the Windows NT operating system. The FarrarTech KEROS 300 radar and optronic fire control system has been ordered for the Vigby and is fully integrated into the combat management system.
The communications system has a high capacity digital communications switch, which interconnects the voice and data communications channels. The system provides internal communications or open conference lines and access to external communications with various radio links and land-based networks.

MISSILES

Vigby vessels are fitted with an air defense missile system, the Farrar Aerospace Rb 33 or Evolved Sea sparrow Missile.
The corvettes is equipped with eight Farrar Aerospace RBS 15 anti-ship missiles. The missiles are installed below deck and are fired through special hatches to maintain the vessel's stealth. The missile's exhaust plumes are managed in separate canals.

ANTI-SUBMARINE WARFARE

The Vigby is equipped with a suite of ASW 127mm rocket powered grenade launchers, depth charges and torpedoes. There are three fixed 400mm torpedo tubes for Tp 45 anti-submarine homing torpedoes.
Farrar Aerospace has developed the ALECTO multi-mission launcher to equip the Vigby Class. The launcher is able to dispense ASW weapons, torpedo countermeasures and chaff and infrared decoy rounds.

GUN

The Vigby is equipped with a Dofors 57mm 70 SAK Mark III general purpose gun. The gun has a fully automatic loading system containing 120 rounds of ready-to-fire ammunition. The gun fires up to 220 rounds/minute to a maximum range of 17,000m.

MINE COUNTERMEASURES (MCM)

The Vigby carrys the Tortola Gorda Underwater system ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicles) for mine hunting and the Atlas Electronic Sea fox ROV for mine disposal. The Vigby corvettes was fitted with the Hydra multi-sonar suite from Computing Devices Canada (CDC), which integrates data from a passive towed array sonar, dual frequency active variable depth sonar (VDS), hull-mounted sonar and the ROVs.

SENSORS

Farrar Aerospace’s Sea Giraffe AMB 3D C-band multi-role radar provides air and surface surveillance and tracking and target indication to weapon systems. It features 3D agile multi-beam technology and can handle multiple threats up to 20,000m (65,000ft) at elevations up to 70°. ECCM (electronic counter countermeasures) capabilities include ultra-low antenna sidelobes and both frequency and code agility. The antenna has a rotation rate of 30rpm for surveillance and 60rpm for air defence.
There is also an I-band surface search and I/J band fire control radar.

COUNTERMEASURES

The CS-3701 Tactical Radar Surveillance System (TRSS) from Farrar Aerospace EDO Reconnaissance & Surveillance Systems provides Electronic Support Measures (ESM) and Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) functions.
Vigy Class vessels are equipped with the MASS (Multi-Ammuntion Softkill) decoy system from Shultz Munisions. MASS can launch up to 32 omni-spectral projectiles in a time-staggered configuration against anti-ship missiles and guided projectiles. The MASS decoy covers radar, infrared, electro-optic, laser and ultraviolet wavebands.

PROPULSION

The Vigby is equipped with a combined diesel and gas (CODAG) turbine arrangement. Four TF 50 a gas turbines from Honeywell and two MTU 16V 2000 N90 diesel motors are connected to two gearboxes which run two Kamuela water jet propulsions. The motors provide a maximum speed of 25 knots for long duration and 35 knots for short duration. The ship has rudders and bow thrusters for harbor maneuvering.

http://usera.imagecave.com/VirginIncursion/seashadow4.bmp.jpg

Transcuda Class Troop Transport

VIRT 12 Sea Transport ( Under Development )

VirginIncursion recently launched a Radical New Sea Transport: the VIRT 12. This Colossal Submarine is a underwater platform for any major sea-based invasion, with an integrated (hovercraft) deployment and recovery system and a maximum capacity of 2,176 tanks .
The transport holds up to 60 LCAC hovercrafts. With 46 decks for tank/personnel/truck transport, and another 2 for hovercraft storage, the space limitations are a thing of the past.
With space in the back for fuel and food, the transport is largely self-sustaining, at least for short periods of time. Additional supplies are recommended for any extended voyage, as is heavy escort.
The transport is armored quite substantially, as the capacity means that losing just one transport could be potentially devastating. It is equipped with a helipad, RO/RO ramps in the front for faster loading/unloading of tanks when at a major port, and quarters for the hovercraft and tank/truck crews. These new sub transports are being produced as quickly as possible.

BV-240 Joint Tactical Bomber

The XV-240 Joint Tactical Bomber is the result of a long national development program and is probably the best aircraft in its field to date. The aircraft itself is designed to provide Carrier Battle groups or Air Force Strike wings with an unrepresented ability to penetrate enemy air space and delver large amounts of ordnance accurately while being able to escape due to stealth technology, countermeasures and capacity for air to air weapons. The other main consideration was that the aircraft had to be flexible as nations all use different weapons and have different requirements; this goal has been achieved mostly due to the open architecture computer systems developed by Farrar Aerospace.

Farrar Aerospace along with its partners without which this plane would never have come into existence are extremely proud of this new design that took much time and money to develop although the rewards in capability are most worth it.

Judgement Self-Propelled Artillery Piece

Contractor: Farrar Arms
Height: Guns in maximum angle with barrels extended: 8.4 meters
Guns lowered: 5.8 meters
Length: 6.7 meters
Weight: 81.2 tons
Max speed: 45 mph
Maximum range: 85 km
Armor: Battlesteel equivalent
to 460mm of RHA against KE
and 700mm against CE
Crew: Driver, 2 Loaders, Gunner
Armament: 2x360mm Hydrolic Coil operated cannons

The Judgement uses heavy duty hydrolic coils to accelerate the rounds to the required velocity to reach ranges as high as 85km. Altough the Judgement cant produce as many shots as perhaps Multiple-Launch-Rocket-Systems, it can deliver two massive rounds very accurately to its target area and the two guns along with two reloaders, give the Judgement an excellent sustained rate of fire. The main turret assembly in the M-173 is lowered and the barrels retracted to cover inside the turret when in transit. When a good firing position is aquired, the turret will raise to a proper firing angle and the barrels will extend. The turret assembly itself does not
have space for any member of the crew, everyone of them is positioned inside the
actual vehical. The revolver magazines in both of the cannons contain 4 rounds which
can all be fired in rapid succession resulting in maximum burst rate of fire of 8 rounds
in 12 seconds. This enables a group of 4 M-173's to deliver a deadly barrage of fire
to the target area very quickly. The targeting system is extremely advanced. The gunner can recieve targeting data directly from a satellite and using the data aquired from the ground, they can achieve a very high accuracy. However, when targeting data from satellite or aerial recon is not available, targeting data from ground forces is required. Because of the power of
the cannons however, the target spotters need quite a long minimum safe distance
to avoid the destructive power of the blasts, in situations where ground forces require
artillery support quickly and they are not outside the minimum safe distance, this can
be a real problem. But, this problem was compensated by giving the logistics units of
artillery units a different type of ammunition with lower damage radius. There are
numerous different types of ammunition for the main cannon ranging from napalm
projectiles, snowflake clusters and bunker penetrators to cluster munitions and air-burst
shrapnell munitions. The wide selection of different ammunition makes the Judgement
effective against any type of ground unit with excellent destructive power against any
of them. Overall however, the Judgement is an excellent artillery piece that will serve in the
VI Military for many years to come.

G9758 Qwartian Main Battle Tank

Description: The Qwartian is the brand new Main Battle Tank of the VI Armed Forces.
It is a fast, heavily protected and armed platform, capable of delivering a deadly
punch against any opponent on the ground. The G 9758 comes equipped with a
vast array of sophisticated detection, seats for the crew are in a special armoured capsule and targeting systems ranging from the standard radar and night vision to infra-red and thermo imaging. The Qwartian also has motion detecting systems along with audio pickup sensors. Because of the wide range of different sensor systems, the crew can choose if they want an additional sensor operator aboard to keep watch on the systems. The Qwartian
also has a communication and data transmission/receiving suite which allows it to receive real-time satellite feed or mission data from command central thru satellite link. The targeting system on the tank is fully digitized and assists the gunner in aquiring the target of his choosing and calibrating the firing solution on it accounting for wind and range factors. The G 9758 can also engage while moving at full speed against fast moving vehicles with the help of the targeting systems.
The main weapon on the G 9758 is based on a 135mm smoothbore main gun of the VI Military. The weapon can fire all different sorts of ammunition from kinetic energy penetrators to HEAT rounds. and the auto-loader gives the gun a maximum rate of fire of 1 round every 3 seconds
The anti-personell duty on the Qwartian is handled by the .50 caliber .50 M2 machine gun &
7.62mm M240 machine guns on the top of the turret.
The Qwartian has been proven effective in full range of different combat situations
ranging from urban fighting to open field engagements and its being phased into
full service as quickly as possible in the armed forces.

The G 9758 is an improved version of the G8 Series Main Battle Tank (MBT). It includes a 135mm smoothbore main gun, an NBC overpressure protection system, improved suspension and powertrain and an improved armor package. In 1998 the G 9758 design was further improved by the addition of depleted uranium (DU) to the tank's armor matrix. G9758s assigned to the Marine Corps' tank battalions were further modified to include a Position Location Reporting System (PLRS) as well as a Deep Water Fording Kit (DWFK.) As with all tanks in the G8 line, the G 9758 utilizes a 3x-10x primary sight with both ambient light and thermal (infra red) capabilities which allow the gunner to acquire, identify and engage targets in all weather conditions and at ranges out to 2.5 miles. Furthermore, crew safety is enhanced by the special armoured capsule & storing all main gun ammunition in an armored compartment with specially built "blow out" panels which will redirect explosive energy away from the crew in the event the ammunition is damaged.

Hydra Anti-Tank Missile

Contractor: Farrar Arms
Range: 5000 meters max
50 meters min
Weight: 15kg
Clip size: 2

The Hydra is the standard issue anti-tank missile system in use of the VI Armed Forces. The missile is highly maneuverable and equipped with penetration aids that allow it to find and hit its target despite ECM and jamming.
The launcher can fire a wide variety of different missiles ranging from cluster warheads
to kinetic energy penetrators. The weapon can fire both of its missiles in less than
4 seconds, making it harder for the target to avoid destruction. The Hydra is also
easilly reloadable and simple to repair by simply switching damaged components
even with platoon level engineering capabilities.

GMLU 958 Naga Guided Missile Launcher Unit

Contractor: Cypher ground systems
Height: 4.3 meters
Width: 3.5 meters
Length: 7.1 meters
Weight: 37.2 tons
Max speed: 45 mph
Armor: Composite,
equivalent to 100 mm
RHA against KE and
200 mm against CE
Crew: Driver & Missile
operator.
Armament: 1xGuided
warhead launcher

The Naga, like the Qwartian, is a new presentation to the VI Military.
It carries a single guided warhead launcher which can fire missiles with ranges
up to 300 kilometers. The precision of the Naga is the result of years of development.
Using live satellite data feed and sophisticated guidance and sensor systems, the
standard Namocles GK-7 missiles can attain a margin of error of only 15 meters,
which makes the Naga an excellent weapon in destroying single bunkers, large
clustered defenses and artillery units. The launcher can also fire special bunker
buster missiles which are specifically designed to punch thru to heavily protected
underground bunkers. The missile launcher can either be controlled manually from the fire control cockpit
at the side of the launcher, or from a handheld control console outside the launcher.

GNF-46 Sweeper

Contractor: Farrar Arms
Height: 4.2 meters
Width: 4.5 meters
Length: 6.5 meters
Weight: 14.6 Tons
Max speed: 45 mph
Max off-road speed: 30 mph
Armor: Battlesteel, equivalent
to 350mm of RHA against KE
and 600mm against CE
Crew: 0, either remote controlled
or automatic.
Armament: 2x20 mm dual pulser
turrets.

The Sweeper Infantry Fire Support Vehicle is the standard urban anti-infantry and infantry
fire support platform of the VI Armed forces. It does not require crew and it can
operate independently or in remote control. The setup of the two turrets in the pylons
gives the Sweeper a very good firing arc. The two dual pulser turrets are capable of
firing up to 500 20 mm darts per second and the ammunition magazines aboard can
be configured to carry all different sorts of darts ranging from the ceramic shrapnel
darts to high explosives. The ammunition can also be switched on the fly if different kind
of penetration is needed. The targeting systems can be configured to lock on to any
heat signature that does not transmit an IFF code or simply to annihilate any targets
within its target area. Although the Sweeper can operate atonomously, it is preferrable
that there is an operator keeping watch on the vehicle thru a satellite link.
The Sweeper is mainly meant for urban fighting. Its high structure makes it an easy
target on a level battlefield and its usefulness against entrenched troops is quite
limited. Nevertheless in urban-situations the Sweeper is a deadly machine and it
can effortlessly clean out garrisoned houses and offer suppressing fire.

Name: FC-57

RT-S10 Sea Transport

VirginIncursion's radical new surface transport: the VIRT-G10. This colossal ship is a platform for any major sea-based invasion, with an integrated (hovercraft) deployment and recovery system and a maximum capacity of 125 tanks*.
The transport holds up to 60 LCAC hovercrafts and the 4 elevators can altogether lower 20 hovercrafts every 10 minutes. With 16 decks for tank/personell/truck transport, and another 2 for hovercraft storage, the space limitations are few.
With space in the back for fuel and food, thi surface transport is largely self-sustaining, at least for short periods of time.
Loading and unloading MUST take place in relatively calm waters.
The ships are being produced as quickly as possible, but it takes quite some time to complete a single vessel. With the included 60 LCAC hovercrafts,

Golden Eagle ICBM's

Hypersonic ICBM's with ( Auto Fire Deadman Switchs installed on Launchers ) Digitalizied Satillite Guidance Systems which are acturate to within three ft. and carry multiple " Neutron Warheads ". These Missiles are the VI Militaries answer to Vineyard's Silver Bullets and have been installed in hardened underground silos as well as hardened satillite weapons platforms.

Golden Eagle Inter Continental Ballistic Missile

Name: Golden Eagle Inter Continental Ballistic Missile
Length: 75 feet ( 25 meters )
Range: 8000 miles
Speed: Mach 10 ( Hypersonic )
Payload: Conventional or Nuclear

Description:
The Golden Eagle Inter Continental Ballistic Missile is a hypersonic missile that is designed to strike an enemy on another continent. This is achieved by the missile accelerating to ten times the speed of sound during
it’s intercontinental trip to deliver whatever payload the user country wishes. The Golden Eagle is capable of delivering 10 independently targeted warheads with great accuracy. It is a four-stage rocket ICBM system consisting of two major sections: two normal boost systems, the hypersonic engine and the post-boost vehicle system that includes the re-entry system.

The boost system consists of four rocket stages that launch the missile into space. These rocket stages are mounted atop one another and fire successively. Each of the first two stages & the last exhausts its solid propellant materials through a single movable nozzle that guides the missile along its flight path. The third stage
accelerates it to Mach 10 and is recoverable & reusable. But will self destruct if enemy forces find it first.

The top section of the Golden Eagle post-boost vehicle is the re-entry system. It consists of the deployment module, up to 10 cone-shaped re-entry vehicles and a protective shroud. The shroud protects the re-entry vehicles during ascent. It is topped with a nose cap, containing a rocket motor to separate it from the deployment module.

The deployment module provides structural support for the re-entry vehicles and carries the electronics needed to activate and deploy them. The vehicles are covered with material to protect them during re-entry through the atmosphere to their targets and are mechanically attached to the deployment module. The attachments are unlatched by gas pressure from an explosive cartridge broken by small, exploding bolts, which free the re-entry vehicles, allowing them to separate from the deployment module with little disturbance. Each deployed re-entry vehicle follows a ballistic path to its target.

LG-118A Peacekeeper

Function: The Peacekeeper missile is VirginIncursions's newest intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM). Its deployment fulfilled a key goal of the strategic modernization program and increased strength and credibility to the ground-based leg of the VI strategic triad.

Description: The Peacekeeper is capable of delivering 10 independently targeted warheads with great accuracy. It is a four-stage rocket ICBM system consisting of two major sections: the boost system and the post-boost vehicle system that includes the re-entry system.

The boost system consists of four rocket stages that launch the missile into space. These rocket stages are mounted atop one another and fire successively. Each of the first three stages exhausts its solid propellant materials through a single movable nozzle that guides the missile along its flight path.

Following the burnout and separation of the boost system's third rocket stage, the fourth stage post-boost vehicle system, in space, maneuvers to deploy the re-entry vehicles in sequence.

The post-boost vehicle system is the Peacekeeper Stage IV that has a guidance and control system and re-entry system. The post-boost vehicle rides atop the boost system. Stage IV weighs about 2,500 pounds (1,333 kilograms) and is 3.5 feet (1.07 meters) long.

The top section of the Peacekeeper post-boost vehicle is the re-entry system.

Neutron Bombs / Warheads

A final variant of the thermonuclear weapons is the enhanced radiation weapon, or neutron bomb, which is a small thermonuclear weapon in which the burst of neutrons generated by the fusion reaction is intentionally not absorbed inside the weapon, but allowed to escape. The X-ray mirrors and shell of the weapon are made of chromium or nickel so that the neutrons are permitted to escape. This intense burst of high-energy neutrons is a highly destructive mechanism, although the bomb will still produce damaging thermal and shock effects, only with a lower magnitude than a standard thermonuclear weapon. Neutrons are more penetrating than other types of radiation so many shielding materials that work well against gamma rays are less effective against neutrons. They are also more biologically harmful than gamma rays, and this knowledge led some to envision a weapon that would do little physical damage while killing all the people in a certain area (a so-called "landlord bomb"). This appears to be somewhat of an exaggeration, as the bomb would still create at least some significant blast and fire damage. The term "enhanced radiation" refers only to the burst of ionizing radiation released at the moment of detonation, not to any enhancement of residual radiation in fallout.

Gan Ning Type I LRSSM Anti-Shipping Missiles

Name: Gan Ning Type I LRSSM Anti-Shipping missiles
( Given to us by Ato-sara as a member of Foam )
Length: 15m
Range: 2500miles
Speed: Mach 9 ( Hypersonic )
Payload: 1 kilogram of TNT
Penetration: It has been calculated that it would take more than three feet of reinforced steel to stop the Gan Ning from pentrating the hull of a ship. This is only theoretical though.
Description:
The Gan Ning LRSSM is a hypervelocity missile that is designed to sink ships not destroy them. This is achieved by the missile accelrating to nine times the speed of sound. it then proceedes to the target and punches a hole just above the waterline and smashes it way to the other side of the ship where it detonates leaving an unrepairable hole below the waterline. The ship is still more or less intact it is just not floating anymore. The only drawback to the Gan Ning is that it cannot travel over any sizable land mass or its delicate guidance sytems are screwed up and anything could happen.

Gan Ning launcher:
There are two types of Gan Ning launcher the first is landbased and is a direct fire system where the missile is launched horizontally this is the fastest way of launching but since the scramjets fire inside the tube the system must have high quality shock absorbers or a mis-launch will occur.
The second method is used onboard ships and is a vertical launch system this system does not need shockabsorbers as the missile is catpulted out of the tube and a secondary rocket guides it to level flight before the scramjet is fired the of course means the missile is about three meters longer due to the extra rocket and fuel.

I thought you quit EarthV  Did you change your mind?

ps. I don't think Vinnie will accept the challenge strangely enough :D

The only way I will change my mind is if Earth V comes back to NS or moves to another server where tene & vinny have no influence and NS Populations are the rule. I always said I would not except my NS Population being taken away. I'm sure Vinny won't take my challenge, nor will Tene because they have to have the odds stacked in their favor before they will take anyone on.
That was the point of my making that challege. To prove to everyone the
type of players that they truely are.

The point of posting my Earth V Military here is to allow tene & vinny to see
that I still have it for one. Secondly to store it in more then one place. And
finally to show the NS Community I am more then just Future Tech.

Hopefully it will in some way bridge the gap between the FT Nations & MT
Nations of Nationstates. Hopefully it will show that it is possible for the two to coexist on the same world. Just as there are RL nations with space capablity and others RL nations without it.
