In lieu of complaints about the awkward chellian .35 battle round, a new version of the P14 battle rifle has been made. While retaining most of the same parts, the gun now has a new front grip, and easier changability in calibre(only magazine and barrel change). The following P14a3's shall be the only ones in service withing 7 years of this date.

P14a3(Alpha)-
The main usage version of the weapon, it is the version of the P14a3 that uses 7.62x51mm ammunition. This version, like all, are able to be used in single or fully automatic fire. However, this is the only version the Chellian Army allows its soldiers to use fully automatic fire in. Used by most rifle and LMG infantry

P14a3(Beta)-
The version in .338 Lapua(8.6x70mm), this rifle is used by dedicated marksmen in chellian squads. The scope of the P14a3 can now be set for all official rounds used by the P14a3, including the Lapua.

P14a3(Charlie)-
The version in 8.89x45(.35 shorty), this is the weapon to be used by officers and close-quarters soldiers. The barrel and front grip are shorter, and a suggested equipment is the P-80, an automatic 9mm SMG that ejects cases to the right, with a 20 round magazine in the grip. The gun attaches to the railing, and the P14a3 scope can be set to the P-80 as well.

Sales are currently priced at $3,200 a weapon. Production rights are absolutly not allowed, and we will prosecute anyone selling the weapons in any form, without explicit permission.

OOC: Im gonna find the pages with the stats for the older versions, so this makes more sense.

The only one I could dig up.

Note: The scope isnt explained well on either page, so I might as well talk about it here. Using a square 50mm LCD screen, and about 250mm in length, its a completely innovative way of using gun sights. The gun has a raw video and audio feed feature for up to 30 minute of recording, and "smart-sighting" that can take range and wind to find the likely area of a bullets target, and auto-adjust it to the sights. There is a range finder built into the scope, and the rifle can zoom up to four times with great resolution, and an FPS of over 150, making little discrepancy between actual view and the scope view. The scope has protection from the elements, but like the rest of the gun, should not be subject to being shot. The scope has a limited tolerance for shrapnel.
