This thread is strictly for members of the Nation of ARC Mutual Aid Region to collectively formulate economic plans for the region.

Currently we have resources through taxation of the first five years. (five days of RP), Our defense budget annually is at $34,922,635,500

Accumulated on spending after the first three years. We have upgraded our military to:

Total Years Defence Budget. 103,948,546,501.50
Acquisition of M-16A2's 67,200,000,000.00
Acquisition of 3 squadrons of F-5Es 54,000,000.00
Acquisition of 1 squadron of F-5Fs training 23,625,000.00
36,670,921,501.50
Acquisition of 6 Arleigh Burke destroyers 2,640,000,000.00
Acquisition of 12 SH-60 Seahawks 78,000,000.00
33,952,921,501.50
Research & Development funds for internal 5,000,000,000.00
Amount left over...28,952,921,501.50

Since two years have passed since these acquisitions...the total defence treasury now stands at $98,798,192,502.50

With the addition of three new nations in the last 2 years,we have a total military of now 12960000 members.

Further acquisition of 2 million M-16A2s are planned into the budget. NoARC military acquisition happens every three years.

Right now, the NoARC is contemplating the addition of 3 new Arleigh Burke guided missile destroyers.

With the addition of another Uranium mining and Arms Devlopment nation, the speed of the nuclear weapons program has been increased by 30%. The estimated time for the first detonation has been moved up to 10 years of R&D.

Additional aircraft purchases are planned. NoARC are planning to purchase 5 squadrons of 15 aircraft each of F-16C Fighting Falcons, along with an additional squadron of F-16Ds to provide upgrade training for those pilots who are already flying the F-5E.

Excellent work, Rottweilan!
One more thing to consider, I have just been doing some research, and I think it may also be benificial for NoARC, to purchase several, if not more, F-35s (see pics and specs) Highly versatile, yet still capable of packing a powerful punch. Although, the cost is very high, and it is still in the 'beta' stage (testing). I may be able to get us a special regional discount from my buddy, the CEO of Lockheed Martin, if we're interested.

SPECS:

Joint Strike Fighter

The F-35 is the result of the US Defence Department's Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) program, which sought to build a multirole fighter optimised for the air-to-ground role with secondary air-to-air capability. The US currently team the F-15 to counter the air threat and provide air superiority, with the F-16 which counters both the surface-to-air missile threat, and acts as the primary delivery platform for tactical ground- attack missions. As the F-15 and F-16 play complementary roles today, so too will the F-22 and the JSF in the future. The JSF requirement was developed to meet the needs of the US Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps as well of those of allied nations. These entities demand improved survivability, precision engagement capability, and reduced life cycle costs.

Compared to the F-18C, the F-35 for example has twice the range on internal fuel. The design is also optimised for survivability through the incorporation of additional systems such as:

-advanced electronically scanned array (AESA) multi-function radar
-electronic countermeasures equipment o electro-optical targeting system
-aperture infrared sensor (DAIRS) thermal imaging system
-advanced helmet-mounted display

What do you think?

The Supreme Diety of Slinao would like to say that a good naval force would be a good thing to invest in as well. Also, remember it takes money to buy, maintain, and man your military.

We operate a standing force of 10% of our total population, and a higher percentage in times of war.

good place to buy explosives.

Also, we may wish to invest in several B-2 bombers with the new advanced radar and cloaking technologies implanted into them.

If need be, I would be happy to buy one or more of these for myself, so that we test the plane to its full extent before making any moves. :D

I also agree..a sizeable naval force is crcial for any major region and its countries. I suggest looking into a couple of aircraft carriers and supporting battle group ships and subs.

I also agree with the B-2 as the United States adopted a position of "Global Reach" and I think we should as well. To go along with "Global Reach", we should also look at investing in heavy lift transport aircraft.

One thing that we should not forget is homeland defensive missile systems and interceptor squadrons.

Ok, I'll put a couple of B-2s on order... what about the F-35s? Should I get some for NoARC?
