Information has just reached Channel 8 News that war has been declared! There seems to be only two main sides to this conflict, but a third-party indigenous force may be involved. We are still unsure what sparked the conflict, but we will present more information as it comes in. As of now, we do not know which countries are invovled because of communication proble-

Newsflash: Sanditenbourg, Land of the Democratic and Free, offers full support to the side of Freedom and Democracy. We hope that this will help in our war against our arch-rival: the Supreme Commissar Ivan Michaelovitch of Richtenbourg who split the great Richtosanditenlandt in two. We are the enemy of political oppression, and will hope to resume peace and have dinner soon.

News Update: There have been several reports of fighters and bombers of the Federation of Stellar Nations beeing sighted fighting for the side of Democracy. Their strikes have been quick and deadly.

Welcome back to the Channel 8 News Room, where we have the latest on the conflict. It appears that the sides are a good vs. evil sort, the "good" guys are calling themselves the Freedom Alliance, while their opposition allies are naming themselves the-.....
So far, no solid facts have reached us about third-party involvment, this may just be a two-sided war. ..

As of now, the Sanditenbourg, Land of the Democratic and Free and the Federation of Stellar Nations have pledged their support and resources to the Freedom Alliance. Also Sanditenbourg has declared war upon Supreme Commissar Ivan Michaelovitch of Richtenbourg. Richtenbourg is one of the first countries we've heard so far that have been thrust into the opposing side of this war.

In other news, Dictator Scharfetter annonced today that they will swear allegiance to anyone opposing the so called Freedom Alliance. Here is a clip explaining why.

And in other news today, East Lithuania has officialy declared that they will oppose any actions made by the Freedom Alliance. Also, Sanditenbourg has made organized troop movements in coordination with the Stellar Nations. East Lithuania has defended their borders and looks as though they are not daunted by the power of the F.A.

ooc: hate to burst your bubbles, but on NS, we've been through World War III (Amerigo Slave War?), World War IV (Defense of RF from GDODAD), World War V (Destruction of GDODAD), World War VI (Big war, but all the parties involved got bored and left), and, of course, the infamous World Wars VII-at least XIII, which some nation kept putting up and posting on off site forums only to be beset by complete disinterest many times. Those were a bit ridiculous, but they might have a good site up now.

So... in light of this, I guess you can call it World War III, just note that it's not really a World War in the sense of things on NS.

Richtenbourg gladly allies with all sides opposing the "Freedom League". The reason for this is that our enemies are all who believe that money and economics rule the world. As voice of the people, come together!!! Fight the capitalist war-mongerers! Our border dispute with the capitalist Sanditenbourg Pigs has thrown us into full-scale war, and full-scale revolution! All must fight!

Richtenbourg and Sanditenbourg are now at peace! And we're bored with this war, so we will waste no more time in sending things to it. We'll resolve our border disputes first. Thank you for your help, but this war is civil.

Thank you, Alex. Now the news on the upcoming war. Yes, this war is growing. As it seems, more and more countrys are joining in... most going to the ever growing Freedom Alliance. In fact... besides the makers of the allied alliance, which name hasn't reliesed to the public yet, we are the only nation in the alliance. We are on an up-hill battle, but with our spirit and military strength, we may have the ability to save East Lithuania from a Non-Dictatorship government. Hail Dictator Scharfetter. In latest news, the nation of Aborionata has stated that anyone joining the "freedom alliance" will be regarded as potential enemies. Aborionata has joined the other side in its war against the freedom alliance, and plegdes their support in both troops and materials. Our reporter maneged to get a statement from one of the dictators top advisors:

"Freedom is a plague upon mankind. Humanity has proven time and again that strict control is required to keep it in line. This is what we offer. The peace of knowing that you do not have to take a stand in politics, and that the supreme leader takes care of all decisions on your behalf."

President Robert Clement Nighthorse stepped up to the podium. He appeared weak and sick, wearing what appeared to be some sort of cheap pajamas.

"Citizens of Algonquia, as you may have been aware, I have had serious pains in my lower abdomen over the past several months. I consulted with by doctor, and he concluded that this was in fact the result of an otherwise harmless tumor near my left kidney. He also informed me that there is a small tumor in my neck, and this also is benign but should be removed. I therefore will enter surgery within a few hours but will be in recovery for about five days. As a result, my vice president, Linda Pirello, will served as acting president from now until the end of that time."

The press was stunned.

"Before I leave you, I have one final message. As a result of the the current friction going on throughout the world, I have decided to propose before Congress a resolution declaring our partnership with the Freedom Alliance. At the moment, members of the Senate are drafting such a bill. Of course, it would not be signed until I am released, so enourmous amount of pressure would not be put on Vice-President Pirello.
However, I have consulted with General Manco, who has agreed to begin rallying some 10,000 soldiers. I know that popular support of our country is for the Freedom Alliance.

As the press awaited, many sat there nervous... as all in the room did. They knew he was about to talk about the war. But, how was it going to be? Good or bad? Then, he entered the room, and the entire room got up and applouded with a loud cheer. As they sat down, he began...

"Ladies and Gentelmen, you all know why I have called for a conferance. This war is getting to be more and more intense as more and more country's join. Also, it is getting harder and harder for us because most of the countrys that join that join in this war are representing the Freedom Alliance. However, it does not matter. We have the skills to take them on. Plus, our allies in combat will give plenty of support to us as we give support to them to stop this Alliance from changing the world, espisilly this country! Now, any questions you may have I will be happy to take."

A reporter raises her hand. "Yes sir. Sarah Bershadsky from the Eastern Times. Do you have any idea if at this point there are any nations in this alliance we are in?"

"Yes, in fact we do. A nation called Aborionata has announced today that they have joined the alliance as well. That is all I know I'm afraid."

Another reporter raises his hand. "Yes, sir. Arthur Rodgers from the Lithuanian News. Have you decided how many men you are preparing?"

"No, we haven't. Me and Commander-And-Cheif Katilus have yet to discuss about this. Listen all, I must leave. I just want to leave saying this: Some say Dictatorships are horrible and corrupt... but when you see East Lithuania... you are easily certain your thoughts are wrong. HAIL EAST LITHUANIA!!!"

As the Dictator leaves, the crowd goes wild and cheer. Then he hears the chant of "SCHAR-FETT-ER, SCHAR-FETT-ER!!!" from the crowd.
