The Galactica-class is not currently for sale. The Imperium is very wary of selling its technology to other nations other than the closest of allies. Whether this policy will change, we cannot tell as of yet.

No offence, Sephrioth, but 2 freakin' PLANET KILLERS!?! I don't think many empires can afford that, let alone afford to trade them for something. (Cloaked planet killers?!?!)
Maybe you should tone down the length a bit, before pepole start crying godmod. I mean, a BattlePlate aint 70 km long, and that's the best of the best in destructive technology. At best, your ship would be horribly vulnerable to enemy fire, especially with the few weapons you have.
(Again, no offense, but I'm trying to get you to remedy this before people start crying techwank)

Crossman, looks like an assault/invasion warship to me. Planning any wars :D

Good job all round, a minor suggestion is to beef up the armour a little, but that's about it.

Me? Planning wars? No... never... It's a... um... a "peacemaking" vessel. Yeah, that's it a peacemaker...

Yeah, I'm updating the stats to add a bit more armor. And sort of switching around some of the stats.

50km? ............................................................... with only 2900 crew? I take it that most of the ship IS the weapon.

Jecus Christ. If this is future tech, why 6000 crew. the DD(X) only carries 95 crew, by 6000, that god dam stupid. Computers should tank away at least 5000 or more of your crew to save money and complaining.

Dude, the ship is 5km long. the DDX is a fly compared to it. Even in the future you need people. It's not fully automated.

Jeus Christ, 5 km, the costfor it must be priceless like a trillion USD. Computer should do your work any way. If more affordable than hiring humans.

First of all, leave Jesus out of this. Second, 5km really isn't much compared to some people's ships out there. You aren't a future tech nation, are you?

Well its obvious you're confused. So if that's the case, don't lecture me on my stats, especially if you don't understand my tech.

Hmm... A bit too much of a Jack Of All Trades, in my opinion. For example, a smaller, dedicated troop transport would probably be able to outfight your complement, a dedicated carrier would beat your fighters, a smaller dedicated point-D craft would probably swat more fighters, and so on.

Actually, I wonder if I made my battlecruiser's length too long? 2.5km for 4 3-barreled plasma cannons...

Well, it isn't meant to be its own carrier or troop transport. It works with other ships. Its a battleship.

You really like Battlestar Galactica don't you? Also, something that long does not have to cost large amounts of money, especially if it is built in space.

Well yes. Ever since they did the mini series in 2003 I've become a big fan. My dad has been a fan since the 70s, but I'm just now catching on.

Geez now I feel old as I'm sure I must be in your fathers age range. The original movie wasn't bad as was the old series back in 80' I think.

Crossman, do me a little favour, won't you? I posted a "Sskiss Timeline" thread a little while ago. Look into it and tell me what you think.

Well my dad is 55 and I'm 19. I like the old BSG, it just took me a while to get in to it, as I was tied up with star wars and star trek in my younger years.

Will do.
