Now back Our top story.. the results of the 2004 census were finnaly released and to the astonishment of many, The Phoenix Milita has an estimated population of 3.005 billion. The announcement today was followed by an official government adress by Field Marshall Maximus Seville. Here is an excerpt from the broadcast.

....."Now that we have over three billion people, the major issue of population control must be brought to the forefront. I have long opposed doing anything to limit reproduction amongst my countrymen, I myself have several childern. But I am forced to now aprrove a law which will limit the maximum number of children per person to four. This means if you have 3 children with one person and 1 with another person, you cannot father or mother another child until they die or leave the country permanatly. Those who do not follow this new regulation, forfiet citizenship and will be expelled from The Phoenix Milita. The law will take full effect in exactly 250 days, so that those currently pregnant will not be affected".....

"and of course we will be stepping up the standard round up of gays, commies, hippies, nazis and those religion type people who haven't payed up on thier special "unfavorable persons" taxes for deportation. Lastly, expansion of cities and suburbs into some areas which were not zoned for and in fact some cases protected against development, willl be allowed."....
