Fleet moves to North Atlantic
Grand Admiral Joseph Jacobson was not on hand to command the IDF fleet this time. He was held up in Freethinkers at an important conference. It was likely he'd join his fleet soon though. For the mean time, Fleet Admiral Chester Steinberg was going to command the IDF fleet from his flag ship, the ISS Frank Thomas, a Guillen class dreadnought. The other super-dreadnought with his group was the ISS Jose Valentin. The ISS Ozzie Guillen would be 48 hours behind his group and Jacobson would be onboard her later to take command, but for the mean time Steinberg was commanding the collection of ships. It was the first time in a while that IDF had such a major combat exercise, but with the refits complete it was time for a major one.
This was going to be the largest exercise ever in the Navy's history and the waters of the Atlantic were open for the fleet to go head to head and simulate the largest possible battles on the open seas. The 4th Guillen would be there if she wasn't sitting with a burnt out super-structure in Tel Aviv Naval Yard. She still hadn't been repaired since the Psov war as her fate was debated. But, 3 would be fine to simulate a large super-dreadnought assault. Morale was high as the crew was ready for the fun.
