The apartment was small, minimalist. There were no pictures, no lamps, no vases. It was barren of furniture with the exception of a small bed and a simple computer desk, upon which sat a laptop and a few dishevelled textbooks - decoration.

The kitchen contained only a few items, enough for a few meager meals. A small table was situated in athe small niche next to the kitchen, with a newspaper and empty candy bar wrappings littering it's pitted surface.

It was reminescent of any number of apartments home to college students, and a false impression intentionally created.

The sound of keys jingling came from outside; moments later, a series of locks were turned, and the door opened, bringing with it a hint of distant music.

A woman entered, casually and nondescriptly dressed.

Laying her purse down, she walked immediately to her laptop and turned it on.

While she waited, she entered the kitchen. Taking a glass down from the cabinet, she filled it with water from the faucet, then returned to her computer.
