The Royal Family of Golencia celebrated this evening with the Archbishop Aragon moving up and becoming a Cardinal. It was a proud day for the Golencian Family until devastation rocked their momentus day.

The People of Golencia weep as earlier Today the Imperial Convoy, returning from Vatican City, carrying Emperor Ruben Aragon I, Cardinal Aragon and Brigadier-General Aragon, Prince Ruben Aragon was hit by 2 Scuicide Bombers near the end of Vatican City.

The Emperor was killed in the attack, while his brother the Archbishop is in the Royal Hospital for his critical Injuries. Brigadier-General Aragon who is 2nd in line to the throne is currently in a colma, and the heir to the throne has suffered a head injury and several cuts. the Terrorist appear to be originating from Pax Maria, which is responsible for the deaths of Cardinal DeVito, and King John of Cherry Ridge.

Experts believe this attack was an Anti-Catholic Move as the Royal Family are ardent Catholics, and the previous attacks wereon Catholic leades aswell. We are saddened by these events and the Prince is to be Crowned by the Pope in 24 hours, which is standard Golencian Law. The Prince has stated that an International Hunt for the terrorists has begun and any leads or help is needed, and appreciated.

The Funeral is to be held 3 days after the Rosary for the dead Emperor. Golencian officials ask that allied leaders attend the funeral and Rosary. The Rosary is scheduled for Wednesday.

"They want me to attend a fucking rosary?!?" The Czar laughed and threw the message in the memory hole. "Like hell. I'd rather kiss the pope's ring." Franz von Papen just shrugged.

"You should at least attend the funeral and corronation."

"I'm not going within fifty miles of the pope, and if the pope steps inside Burgundy, I'll have Medici cap him." Franz recoiled in shock at the comment.

"What?!? You cannot kill the pope! Do you realize how much crap we'd draw in from the international community?" The Czar shook his head and downed a shot of Vodka.

"I was kidding." He turned to the one Praetorian Guard in the room.

"Hey, how many cases of Napoleon Premier do we have left?"

"Offically, none. Unoffically, we have about two thousand cases left."

"Good. Bring me up a bottle."

"Yessir." When the guard left, the Czar tossed the shot glass in the trash can and placed the vodka bottle on the counter.

"Lord, I hate that shit." Papen smiled.

"That comment would be treasonous, if we were in Russia." The Czar smiled.

"But we're not, are we? I don't remember conquering it yet." Papen chuckled.

"Anyways," the Czar said, sitting back down. "I just wanted to get the guard out of the room. Medici will be there, of course." The Czar stopped and laughed. Papen looked confused.

"What's so funny?"

"Well, you know masonry is legal in Derscon, right?"

"Yes."

"Well, I know a mason in the government. I'm tempted to send him over as a 'fuck you' practical joke." Papen laughed as he shook his head.

"Bad idea." Ivan nodded.

"I know, but I would find it humourous."

"Indeed. So," Papen started as the guard came back in the office. "What are you going to do?"

"I'm not going -- you can." Papen shrugged.

"Okay. I figured you'd send me. My bags are packed already. What's the guard look like?" The Czar thought a moment and pulled out a list.

"Five Honour Guards, and the Praetorian Division of the Burgundier Guards, responsible for protection of the Emperor, Medici, and whoever the hell Medici, the Emperor, or I say is important enough to be protected by them. In reality, there isn't enough Praetorian for more than five people, so feel special."

"I shall."

After Francis heard the news of the Emperor's assissination he said,
"Goddamn Pax maria. I swear to GOd that any Mason, Pax Maria, or Illuminati found shall be tortured to death." He said as he signed down what he just said into law. He released it to the press.

He decided to send Archbishop Hughes for the corronation/funeral.
