Ratheian Field Marshal Zharin announced today that one trillion dollars has been allocated to the Ratheian Navy in order to upgrade current fleet and begin construction of Aircraft Carriers. The "Varyag" class Carrier Battleship is the weapon of choice for the Ratheian Navy and is to be fitted with thirty SU-34 aircraft each. The SU-34 is also a new addition the Ratheian army, and this aircraft is sure to be well-used.
After Ratheians encountered problems on how to move SU-25TM aircraft and Kamov Helicopters across the ocean to assist in the war against AU, it has become obvious that a carrier fleet is required. Ratheian casualties remain low in this conflict, thanks to a large bombing of AU by useof KH-101 tactical missiles.
Ratheia has also began construction on several hundred IL-78 aircraft that will take on the tanker role for the Air Force. This will assist Ratheian Aircraft on their longer missions. President Zaitsev has openly made a statement saying today that "Enemies to Socialism and Communism are everywhere, and it is necessary to keep the army in perfect shape in case of an attack."
This statement was made just as Ratheia received a batch of two hundred new SS-27 ICBM's from Halladi Storefront.
