Introduction:
The purpose of the NSSE is to stimulate international economic growth by allowing foreign nations and their corporations to trade with others via the stocks. The stock system is based on the simplified form of the real stock exchange. It is quite simple to partake in the system. The rules and regulations are listed below:

A. General NS Definition of a company or corporation:
A company or corporation may include a storefront, mall, or any other company that deals with commerce and trade.

B. Purchasing a stock:
When purchasing a stock, simply follow these rules and regulations:

1. To purchase a stock, please post the name of the corporation(s) or company(ies) and the amount you wish to buy. There is a limit to where you can purchase stocks. You may purchase up to 100 stocks a day. Be reasonable; do not attempt to buy 100 stocks everyday in order to quickly gain value. There may be sudden drops in value due to certain factors that will be described later. If the process comes out with success, you will be listed under the corporation name. If you want to sell a stock, please consult Article D.

2. There is a limit to the number of stocks available. Each corporation has about 1,000 stocks available. There will be no more or no less. Please do not cheat by using puppet nations, its just plain annoying.

3. After you purchase stocks, you will be listed under the corporation's name as said in B1. The number of shares you have purchased will be displayed. To calculate your current earnings, multiply the current value of the stock with the total amount. This will give you the current value of the 'x' amount of stocks you've bought.

C. Creating stocks for a corporation or company:
People often get tempted to place their corporations or companies in the NSSE. Unfortunately, there are certain conditions that need to be met in order for nations to submit their companies. They must fulfill these basic requirements:

1. This is the basic, required format when posting your corporation or company:

Corporation name and stock symbol:
Category: (Also state if a mall or storefront)
Description: A link to storefront, mall, etc. or a short description of what the corporation offers
Assets:
ISV (Initial Stock Value per share):

Note: Adding more information is greatly appreciated, although not required.

2. Upon entering, every corporation and company stock is equal to $25 each. Again, based on the four factors (Consult Article E), this price may rise or fall due to the current happenings in the NS world. If an entering stock already has a pre-set value, then that will be used instead.

3. A nation may submit up to three major businesses in their country.

4. Merger corporations, i.e. malls, may act as a single stock. This stock will affect every storefront in the specific mall.

5. Your submitted information will be placed in the company and corporations listing. The link is in the next post below.

D. Selling a stock:
So, you want to sell your stock, now that the price has gone up…well follow these simple rules and you can claim your dinero.

1. Notify me, via TG (telegram) posting if you want to sell your stock(s). Please list the corporation name and the amount you want sold. You will get what you earned or lost, depending on the status of the NSSE.

E. The NSSE – The Mechanics

The NSSE functions and behaves like the real stock exchange. The values reflect the conditions of the NS world. Sometimes, the NSSE will remain steady, whereas it may greatly fluctuate. The NSSE can be risky, but on the other hand, quite rewarding.

These are the four factors that govern the rise and fall of the NSSE:

Wars (Revolutions, Terrorist Attacks, Mass-Genocide, Conflicts between two or more nations, etc.)
Politics
Inventions and Innovations
Consumer Demand

Wars: This is a good/bad situation. Wars can be beneficial or detrimental to any nation with stocks in the NSSE. It depends on the outcome of the war. Losers suffer and their stock values fall, and same goes vice versa.

Summary - Can do extremely well or extremely bad for stocks.

Politics: This is also a good/bad situation. A play in politics can stimulate stock growth or loss depending on the decision made by the government. For instance, if the government bans something that another nation makes, that nation may slightly lose stock value.

Summary - Can affect stock value, but only slightly. Can be harmful if a handful of nations decide to ban a certain item. Can also go vice versa.

Inventions and Innovations: This is actually a very good thing. They raise the value of corporations that invent or sell them.

Summary – A very positive thing for certain stocks.

Consumer Demand: Another good/bad situation. If the demand is weak for an item, then that certain stock will flounder. Can also go vice versa.

Summary – It can be beneficial if an item is in great demand. It can also be harmful if the item is in low demand.

F. The NSSE – Crashproof?
Why that’s an obvious question. Of course not! If there is a world war going on, yes the stock market can flourish or crash, depending on the outcome. If one of the four becomes unbalanced, then it can ultimately lead to a stock market crash and to an international recession. If there is a recession, then it will take brilliant RPers to mend it and get the worldwide economy going. But, seriously, there probably won’t be a major crash.

G. Other Topics of Interest:
Some other conflictions that need to be clarified:

1. The universal currency in the NSSE is the US dollar (USD), as in most places in the NS world.

2. The NSSE can be said in two ways: Just like its spelled, N-S-S-E, and N-double-S-E.

3. All tech-levels may participate in the NSSE. There is no barrier between tech levels.

4. The ticker is updated weekly. I will change the values of each stock depending on the current issues and dilemmas in the NS world; if you're not happy with the result, please contact me and I'll work something out.

What do u need help on...like what's ur problem with assets?
How would I measure it? Make it up? UziCorp is very powerful since they build most of Green Sun's military. They're the biggest company in Green Sun.

I would make it up...at least thats what I did. Again, be reasonable. If you're corporation is very powerful, like you said, then I would give it a high asset amount. I think it should be at least higher than 300 Billion USD since you do supply and manufacture expensive military equipment.

Due to the current conlict in Green Sun, UziCorp's president and owner has fled Green Sun and is hiding in Risban. The Vice president says that investing in UziCorp or Green Products is not a good idea, but TOWARDS the end of the conflict. It will be very benifitial to the both the holder and the companies if you do this.

UziCorp: -11% (-17% QG gain)
Green Products: +2% (+0% QG gain)

Investing now will help UziCorp pull through this conflict with minimal losses, but at the expense of the Shareholders. However, the price of UziCorp stocks will skyrocket once this is over, paying back the holders with interst when reconstruction starts and people and buissnesses start asking for help repairing and rebuilding their homes and buissnesses.

It was created by NS UN Resolution #50 about 11 months ago. The UNSC's primary mission was to establish a permanent Lunar Base (yes, I know people roleplay that already ... I'm just going off the resolution and UNSC RP) and to explore space.

The UNSC was incorporated under the UN and funded by the sale of stocks, so I guess it can best be described as being publically owned (i.e more than one person). There is a Board of Directors, and I'd list those nations as being the primary contacts.

What the UNSC is interested in is having its stocks monitored as part of a larger international market for two primary reasons: (1) the UNSC being a Roleplayed thing, also wants to support other roleplay activities ... including international stock markets, and (2) being part of a larger market will stablize the UNSC stock, and hopefully puts its stock into a position where it will rise and fall on its own merits. :) A secondary benefit of plugging into another group is of course players might take an interest in the UNSC Board of Directors.

In any event, I was asked back in early Dec to find something like your NSSE and ask that we can be a part of that.

Good Deal, Good Deal. I was going to list you as a merger corporation. In my terminology, a merger corportation is a group of companies, united under one major corporation. Sort of a conglomerate. But, seeing that it is an already existing group of stocks, I guess I'm going to classify it higher than a merger corporation. Perhaps the UNSC could be like the "Nasdaq" or "Dow Jones" of the NSSE.

In this case, please tell me some specific details about the UNSE like the major head leader or the UNSE and the companies it covers. After that is completed, then just follow the procedure like the ones already on the NSSE.

Do a report on the three companies in SRoR so we can get them in full operation, but beware of the terrorist movemtn of the Democratic-Socialist in SRoR....they are targeting foreigners....and are the reasion SRoRs companies were questioned

The whole report for the NS world would take a considerable amount of time and effort. I don't want to take away your free time or anything just to slave away on the project. How about write up very specific reports on nations who have stocks on the NSSE? What I mean by specific is like write up impacting events. I need to buy from the precious gem market. Diamond and Quartz the priorities. I can sell space-age materials, liquid gasses, Pure Water, Heavy Water, Platinum, Oil, Lithium, Hydrocarbons, Potassium, Tea, and advanced machinery. Okay, you gotta explain something to me when you get a chance, Hiroshiko. I was gonna do a consumer trends-type report. But this is a market where countries buy stock in privately-operated companies right? That changes everything, 'cause countries have totally different priorities than individuals. For instance, while individuals would shy away from Soviet Republic of Russia stock due to the recent news reports, Nations might do just the opposite: buy up a large proportion of Russian stock and then dump it all at once in order to crash the Russian market and gain leverage in a conflict. There are many more variables in countrys' spending priorities so it could be almost impossible to make sound predictions in that sort of market. So umm . . . tell me how to do this.

SRoR views that the events in Russia,although still developing and leading to a possible terrorist insurection,have evolved enough for the re-opening of the 3 companies closed by false aligations against them. Although the economic fall from this will be significant(10%) the companies should improve. ALso SRNX has expanded to an office in Artitsa ( http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=390961 ) which should help with an increse in the value of its stock.

Updated the Market, all values have changed unless specifed 'no change'

After the recent take over of UFTSE by CEO Kramer Hauss, the stock has gain almost 30% on the LSE and is expected for further growth later on this year. Furthermore, companies are still benefiting from the unprecedented economic growth in Lachenburg, along with falling oil prices across the region. Many analysts expect the makret to grow by at least 11% over the length of the 1st Quarter.

Cotland will buy 50 shares in HNAM (Hallad).

I still don't even get stock but I'll invest $1 billion USD as NSSE
