Henrytopia
17-01-2005, 18:06
Bogotá, Colombia
Under a clear blue sky, dignitaries and representatives from the neighboring nations of Panama and Venezuela clapped as the document that would forge the alliance between Colombia, Panama and Venezuela was signed. The treaty would be known to others as the Central American Sovereign Alliance (CASA) and would be a mutual pact among the three nations allowing free trade, a common currency, and protection if any of the members in the alliance were to be attacked.
The three nations would fall under the banner of the Protectorate of Henrytopia and ruled by Henry Brash VII and each would share a common government located in Bogotá, Colombia but the heads of state for each respective nation would continue to function as normal. The three nations would also share legislative responsibilities and meet to discuss issues pertaining to the health and well being of the Protectorate.
The first order of business was to unify the control of the Panama Canal Zone under a corporate entity that would be established so as not to alarm any of the nations that relied on the canal to move goods between oceans. A larger effort was being undertaken to expand the canal and boost the traffic that crossed, lowering tariffs in the future. This corporate entity will be known as the Panameno Autorativo Canal (PAC) and will be headed by Juan Alberto de Cristiano.
This pact would also combine resources to strengthen the oil production in the alliance nations, particularly in Venezuela and allow advanced drilling and refinery processes to occur. A new corporation would be formed; Raul Estevez will head the Latin American Oil Consortium (LAOC) and would compete independently from any other oil alliances. Any nations that wish to establish a trade agreement with LAOC can contact Raul Estevez.
