New Reporters from all over the world came to Istanbul to hear the big change in foreign policy of the Ottoman Empire, they were all seated then they the Grand Vizier enter the press conference room.

“The Ottoman Empire will be going into a state of semi-isolation for the good of our of our state, Foreign policy will be taking backseat in the affairs of the Ottoman Government. We will still maintain our alliances and will come to the aid of our allies, when they need it. Our foreign for Asia, Europe, and Africa will remain the same; our policy of keeping a eye on these regions is still our top goal. Yet for the Americas, they are worthless to us, they are nothing of interest for us. Therefore relations with these nations that live in the Americas, will be mostly of neutral policy. Ottomans must give more attention to internal affairs of the state; for the time being the Ottomans will be somewhat remain inactive in the foreign policies of world. I can’t say when we will return an active role in foreign policy. I can't imagine what 'internal affairs' would be so important that they drop everything. It's not safe for our guys. I reccomend we pull out of there now while we still can."

The Embassy was closed at once. Communication devices were packed up, Workers and thier familes loaded into Chainbreaker's planes. After clearing out everything, the gaurds took down the Three Ribbons (Our flag). In a matter of hours, the entire embassy was airborne. They would be home by sunrise.

He picked up the phone and waited for the five clicks that would tell him the line was secure.

"That's to be expected isn't it. We did just take off like a theif in the night"

"The Sec. of States doesn't belive it's safe. One of their allies just had a really nasty incident. We don't know if that's the exact cause. It wouldn't make much sense though. Something inside their govenrment perhaps. Perhaps he fears a coup in his own country?"

"I doubt it, the country seems tired of wars, I doubt anyone here has the will for a coup to occur. At least from internal forces. They're trying to burn bridges so that soldiers don't cross over them"

"We're sending words that we're not ceasing realations, just leaving for now"

The Ambassoder sighed. He hated packing up the kids and leaving like that. Anna was supposed to go to a birthday party next week, but he knew that wasn't happening. Anna wasn't safe here anymore.

Back-story to the policy change

Few days before the Sultan left the for the OA meeting, the Parliament and House of Viziers pass acts for isolation, yet to have peace, you must be readily for war. Therefore the Ottoman Government pass acts to enlarge the arm forces by 50 percents, to defend the Ottoman Empire from any attack. Reasoned behind the Isolationist acts, were the Ottomans have been fighting to many wars. The people of the Empire were tired of all the endless wars against the foes of the empire; it had taken a total on the people morals for the state. This reflected on the Viziers and Ministers of the Government, after many debates they pass the laws to being Ottoman Khaif into isolation. Now they began focusing on internal matters like improving the life of the people of the empire. Being increase funds to for public projects and etc. Most of the people in the Ottoman Empire, just wanted to left alone from endless problems of world for sometime. Now the Ottoman Empire is slowly cutting itself from world, the Americas were the least important to the interests of the state, so they were the first to cut off form the relations of the state. Soon other regions will follow the same fate of the Americas. No one knew when will Ottoman Khaif ever leave the isolationist state they it is currently in.
